My name is Katie and I’m the owner of Lotus Events! I am a mother, hopeless romantic, and love all things outdoors. I specialize in rustic weddings, DIY brides, and theme-based weddings. I started planning fundraising events at a young age which led me to start non profits and serve as fundraising/event chairman for many organizations. After years of planning fundraisers and friends weddings, it was time to launch my business. I truly love what I do and hope you become part of my Lotus Family!
My previous management experience has prepared me for the unpredictability that can come with weddings. I stay calm no matter the situation, always have a back up plan, can talk to anyone no matter their background, can read a room to decide when we need to change gears and most importantly I ensure you’re stress free, having fun and feeling all the love.

| Description | Full planning includes creation of collaboration board, design, assistance with vendor selection and access to preferred vendors, budget creation and monitoring, attend all vendor meetings, website creation and management, RSVP management, and all items under Wedding Management Package. | Our wedding management services include full weekend. We can start with you as early as you prefer. Timeline creation, contract review, venue walkthroughs, no limitation on phone calls/texts/emails. We will lead rehearsal and manage wedding day by being one of first there and last to leave. Absolutely Wonderful
Katie and her team were amazing to work with! Katie was so incredible creating a timeline and providing advice leading up to the wedding day. Katie is so efficient and organized! Her team was perfection on our wedding day and we could not recommend them enough!

Lotus Events provided exceptional wedding planning services at an affordable price point. Their communication style was clear, direct, and calm - we had hiccups out of our control on wedding day (photographer called in sick, dress ripped & heat wave) but we were able to move forward with positive attitude and energy! On our big day, Lotus Events went above and beyond by executing all decor exactly as requested, helping clean up afterwards, and running a smooth rehearsal while accommodating our untraditional ideas with ease. They helped make guests comfortable during an unexpected heat wave. We really appreciated the military discount they offered - not all vendors do this but it made the process more affordable. If you're looking for a wedding planner who provides exceptional service and value, I highly recommend Lotus Events.
My Wedding
When my mom and I decided we couldn’t plan my wedding on our own, we hired Katie and her team only four months before my wedding day. Katie took so much stress off of our shoulders and truly made my wedding vision come to life! It’s hard to believe that only four months ago Katie was just a stranger to us because now she is family! You absolutely can’t go wrong choosing Lotus Events! We love you guys!!!
