For the dreamiest weddings, needlessly lit parties, and all the priceless memories. My name is Andrew and I'm a Virginia based DJ/Emcee or "Party Captain" as I prefer to call it. It is my absolute joy and privilege to run a business that specializes in creating and sharing once in a lifetime experiences for the most beautiful awe-inspiring people. Though, at this point there have been many, every wedding, party, and dance, I'm lucky enough to captain still brings me childlike joy and excitement just like the first time I was entrusted with a precious janky aux.

The UEC is not your average DJ company. We a team of young but experienced professionals who are forcing the industry to step up its game.     Great DJ!

    From our first conversation we knew we were working with someone who truly cared about getting things right! DJ Drew was relaxed to talk to but stayed on top of every detail leading up to our wedding day. During the reception, Drew read the room perfectly and kept the energy high all night long—our guests would not stop talking about how great he was! The whole experience felt effortless on our end because he handled so much behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly. We felt supported every step of the way and got exactly what we paid for. Highly recommend them for your wedding!

    Wedding DJ

    I DJ Byron was a true lifesaver for our wedding! After our original DJ had an emergency the morning of the event, Byron stepped in at the very last minute to fill the role. For being informed on the actual day of the wedding, he did such a great job and handled the pressure impressively well. While there were a few mishaps (the microphone wasn't on during the prayer part of the ceremony and some of the music transitions weren't completely smooth at some parts (it was understandable given the circumstances). Overall, Byron did an amazing job making sure all of my requests were met and keeping the energy up. I am not 100% sure if he is part of The Upchurch Event Co., but we are so grateful he was available to jump in and save the day! I am giving Byron the 5-stars!

    Amazing DJ

    10/10 recommend for any and all special occasions. Beyond grateful for the excellent communication and accommodations. When I gave the vibe of what I was looking for CJ understood the assignment! Will be referring all my friends and family to them!

    The best DJ ever

    We met Andrew at the Barns at Mattaponi vendor fair and from the start, they were just so personable and welcoming! After talking through what we wanted, we knew they would be a great fit and they definitely delivered! We had Trey as our DJ and he was AMAZING! There aren't enough words to say how amazing he was. He had everyone on the dance floor and got everyone pumped up--he was truly awesome! From the ceremony to the private last dance, Trey made sure everything went smoothly and perfectly--we couldn't have asked for anything better. I'd highly highly recommend Trey and UpChurch as a whole! They made the entire process, from planning to execution, as easy as could be. Truly a great company!
