Petal Burst Designs is a floral design studio that is fast becoming the favorite of couples across DC, Maryland and Virginia. It specializes in natural, flower forward wedding and event decor. Owner and lead designer Margie is known for her passion and innate artistry in telling her clients' one-of-a-kind love story through lovely florals. With over 15 years in the business, she continues to strive to exceed your expectations. She will listen to your ideas and dreams, and weave them into your design. Her love for color, form and texture and flawless design sense builds up her dedication in bringing your beautiful vision to life.
We believe that every couple is different and that you're unique in your own way. Our attention to detail and the way we meticulously take care of you all throughout the floral planning process ensures that your flowers reflect how you envision your wedding day to be.

Margie and the Petal Burst Design team were hands-down one of the easiest and most enjoyable vendors to work with on our big day. From our initial planning meeting, Margie impressed us with her thoughtful questions and attention to detail. She took the time to understand our ideal floral vision and then elevated it with creative ideas and options we hadn’t even considered, making us even more excited for the wedding. Her pricing was incredibly fair and transparent, which made budgeting a breeze. We always knew exactly what we were paying for, and that clarity was a huge help during the planning process. Margie was also flexible with last-minute changes. When I decided to add another color to our original green-and-white palette, she was immediately on board. She understood our vision perfectly and brought it to life with precision. I found myself saying, “OMG, this is straight from my Pinterest board!” multiple times throughout the day because the bouquets and arrangements were exactly what I had imagined. Guests and venue staff raved about how beautiful everything looked. Margie was a joy to work with from the moment she arrived. She collaborated seamlessly with our day-of coordinator to set up the ceremony and reception spaces, and our coordinator had nothing but praise for her friendliness and work ethic. Margie is not only communicative and easygoing, but truly a master of her craft. Flowers were a huge priority for me, and she absolutely nailed it. I also loved that she provided taper candles and gorgeous vases, ensuring every detail of our setup was picture-perfect. Five out of five stars for the Petal Burst Design team—I truly recommend their services! If you are lucky enough to get the chance to work with Margie on your wedding day, I highly recommend it!

If you are thinking about booking Petal Burst Florals, DO IT!! Margie was such an amazing florist who really took the time to understand our vision, and make it come to life!! She exceeded my expectations 1000%. She even added her own extra special touches that meant the world to us and were such a great surprise! If you ever need to get a florist for anything, this is the place!!!! I can’t stop looking at our wedding pictures and obsessing over the florals. Thank you so much Margie for making our day so beautiful!!!!!
Great experience and beautiful flowers!
Working with Margie was so easy and fun! She listened to what I wanted, gave her expert opinion, and brought that vision to life. She created the most beautiful bouquets, corsages, and boutonnières for my bridal party. They received so many compliments from the party and guests! On top of that, they were prepared and packed so well for the 4 hr trip to my wedding destination the day before so there were no issues during transport. We were given very simple instructions to keep them looking vibrant for the big day! Absolutely would recommend Petal Burst Designs for your wedding or event! AMAZING
Beautiful Wedding Florals
Margie and her team did an amazing job with our wedding florals! Everyone at the church and our venue wouldn't stop talking about how beautiful the florals were. The color combinations were amazing! Margie has always been easy to communicate with since the initial consult which was very important to me.
