“Our venue required a day-of coordinator, which at first we were unsure about as a general idea, thinking we "didn't need one" (ha), but we'd do it because we had to. I had a call with Ashley, who I could immediately tell was the realest and most down to earth coordinator, just what we needed. We had general visions of our day, and Ashley was terrific about guiding us on how to make it all seamless, without ever pushing us towards any particular decision, just always listening to what we personally envisioned and telling us exactly how to make it happen in the most uncomplicated, budget-friendly, yet classy ways. We had phone calls at different intervals all the way from starting planning, to the week of the wedding, which kept us on track and saved us from forgetting time-sensitive tasks. Ashley did a lot of the communication with our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. When Ashley shared that she would not personally be the coordinator on our wedding day, she set up a video call with Nadia, who would also be assisted by Katherine, so that we would be as comfortable as possible. Nadia and Katherine did an incredible job day-of, to the point that I'm certain I must have missed some sort of chaos that I still don't know about, because everything seemed to go completely perfect and stress-free from my and my husband's perspective. My husband and some family members (mostly guys, for what it's worth...might not have understood the "vision") brought and set up a lot of the decor in the morning, but my husband shared that Nadia and Katherine were wonderful about making things really come together. Our entire process with Plume & Pearl, and especially our wedding day, was purely joyful and low-stress thanks to the team, and I can't imagine doing this without them!”

“I cannot recommend Lush Event Co. and Rachel enough!! Our wedding day was flawless! We chose her full-scale planning package and it was so worth it! “Mari is IT. My husband and I met with a handful of coordinators who all seemed qualified and capable, but none that seemed to vibe with our energy UNTIL we met Mari! Right away she was calming and tuned in and warm. She felt like someone we would hang out with but then make that person an organizational wizard.As first time wedders, who had never imagined a specific wedding day aesthetic or theme, we would frequently worry this whole thing might not come together. But IT DID under Mari's expert guidance! And not only was it a big success (imo) she also never made us feel dumb or wrong or like bad engaged people for breaking tradition or for asking if we need Welcome signs. “We’ve said it many times during the wedding planning process and we’ll continue to shout it to the hills: hiring Kristy and her team was the best decision we’ve ever made and the best money we’ve ever spent. From the consultation and throughout the entire process Kristy was lovely to work with and incredibly friendly and personal but also always on top of everything. She flagged so many little details that we never would have thought of but led to a much smoother wedding day. Her detailed resources, templates, and documents were invaluable, but she was also flexible when I needed to make my own spreadsheets to keep everything straight in a way that worked with my brain. The timeline she created for us was a work of art and a thing of beauty and something I could have never done on my own. She included every single facet of the event from load in and load out for every vendor down to when we needed to bring our checkbook. Handing communications with vendors to her team in the last few months was amazing and definitely reduced our stress levels. While the timeline was delayed (due to another vendor), Kristy pivoted quickly and ensured that things got back on track and as close to the plan as possible. When we changed our mind on things mid-wedding (like if we wanted a more formal send off) she ensured that it was actually what we wanted but then changed to accommodate it. She also organized tear down of all the decor so that all we had to do was show up the morning after to pick up our belongings. As a queer couple, one of whom is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, Kristy and her team made us feel welcomed and affirmed for the entire process while vetting vendors to make sure they were LGBT friendly and listing our (and our wedding party’s) pronouns on resource sheets so that the whole vendor team was aware and misgendering was as limited as possible (and never by Kristy or her team). She (or a team member?) also recommended many amazing vendors to us including our amazing DJ who had the exact vibe we wanted (gay pop dance party) and ensured the dance floor was full and everyone loved the music choices. Kristy led our rehearsal like a (very nice) drill sergeant, which made it so much more efficient and effective than others I’ve been a part of. The ceremony went off without any major hitches and everyone (including 13 wedding party members, both of our parents, our officiant, and us) knew where they needed to be and when to do what. I was incredibly impressed and super grateful. It also ensured that I didn’t need to think or worry about the little details like making sure seats were reserved and that people started walking at the right time. My only regret is that we didn’t have the budget to have her team plan our rehearsal dinner as well. That experience versus the day of the wedding was a huge contrast. On the day of, I could answer every question with “ask Kristy” and she would always have the answer. As a very anxious and “type A” person I fully trusted Kristy and her team throughout the process which was wonderful for my sanity.
