There were a few times when things didn’t go as planned like having to move the ceremony inside due to rain and changing the floorpan last minute but she handled that with STRIDE. She made all the executive decisions and explained them to us calmly. We trusted that no matter what, she would make the best decision for us in the end and she 100% did! Everything ended up working out better than planned and we will be talking about this day for years to come. At the end of the event, Taylor helped all the vendors pack everything up and out of the venue and made sure that nothing was left behind. We could not recommend her enough as your wedding planner. She is strong, resilient and intelligent. She is organized, reliable and knows exactly what she is doing! Amalia contacted the venue and worked out all the fine details of setup - I truly did not have to lift a finger! I shared my ideas & inspirations with Amalia for how I imagined the dinner to look. I knew I wanted to keep the wildflower color scheme of my bouquet in the details. However, I let her know I was very open to letting her take the lead in designing the setup. I am not a type-A person or planner, so I was grateful she stepped up and let her creativity flow. As seen in attached photos, Amalia designed our dream wedding night dinner! My husband and I arrived before our guests and were blown away with the ambiance and warmth of the room. Amalia designed custom welcome notes, name cards and signage for us that matched our initial invites. She embedded special details such as mini figurines of our beloved lab and pug, and printed framed a photo I sent earlier in the day of my courthouse ceremony! She and her wife, Jenna, handmade flower bouquets for the table and lit beautiful hand-painted candles in the center. She even designed thank you cards/ keepsake magnets on plantable paper for our guests. Amalia is a dream to work with - her passion for weddings & design is so evident! She is compassionate and professional- I had a truly seamless experience with her. I am forever grateful to Amalia for planning my wedding night dinner - an evening my husband and I will cherish forever. “My husband and I knew we needed a day of coordinator because on our wedding day he wanted me to finally check out and relax! As someone who is very type a, I didn't want to not enjoy my actual wedding because I was so focused on details. Like most venues we had a Bridal Attendant who was great, but I can't speak enough about how a day of coordinator is so necessary. There really were so many moving parts that day and Mia took care of all of it. Her involvement allowed my mom and mother in law to be able to actually have fun. It was great to see! Leaving the pressure of getting things right on the day of to Mia and her team was the best decision I made! She was actually the first vendor we hired. It was truly a non negotiable for us! We chose Mia because she was able to really walk us through the entire process and answer all of the questions we had with the least amount of fluff! When we hired Merry we decided to pay a little extra for a second on site coordinator and that ended up being a great choice! Her team worked directly with our venue to make sure everything was where it needed to be and when it needed to be there. I was also able to assign someone to my husband and the groomsmen so that they felt special and taken care of! We even had one small thing that came up that because of the conversations we had she knew exactly what to do. It was super windy on the day of and our ceremony was in a tent that was supposed to be open to the water views. The venue ultimately left them open but she made an executive decision (found me quickly to re-confirm) to close the panels/curtains and it saved our guests from freezing and not being able to actually hear the ceremony. She also made sure that all of the things we really cared about (pictures, moments etc) were captured! We'd hire Merry by Mia a thousand times over!”
