My husband and I got married on 6/15/2024. I handled majority of our wedding planning, but as an OCD bride, my biggest anxiety was not being able to be hands on for the day of our wedding. I can’t tell you how happy I am that I found Amalia and Jenna from butterfly effect weddings!! I purchased the Day-Of Coordinator service, hoping that I’d be able to take the decorating, last minute organization, and vendor communication off my plate after everything was planned and booked. But these two experts did this, and SO much more. They helped create and edit the whole wedding timeline, took over communication with vendors starting 7 days BEFORE the wedding, put together my very complicated favor table without a hitch, offered to create signage, ran the music for our ceremony and cocktail hours, and they even did a last minute transport of my wedding bouquets and boutonierres because they were delivered to the wrong building. But most importantly, they made me feel like I could relax and fully enjoy the busy wedding day, and be super present with all my guests, family, friends, and husband. TLDR: Claire is the absolute best!! If you are looking for a wedding planner, you can stop looking now. I am a very type A person with high expectations and Claire has exceeded them all! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I cannot thank her more. Please see our pictures, credited to Alicia King Photography (https://aliciakingphotography.com/) First: She is a real problem solver - our dream venue was non-negotiable (and one she found/recommended!), but we had issues finding certain vendors (not the venue’s fault, mainly had to do with timing). For example, we were having trouble finding our perfect florist, transportation and hair and makeup - Claire used her contacts and relationships and were able to find the most wonderful team for us and we could not be more grateful. It was true dedication for her to take matters into her own hands when my husband and I were thinking of giving up (i.e., we started looking into DIY options) and it is a testament to her reputation, character, and professionalism that certain vendors decided to make exceptions for us just to be able to work with her again Second: She has great judgment - many parts of the wedding process are not straightforward, and it was great to have Claire be a sounding board for what to do and what not to do. She will always try to give us what we want, but that does not mean that she’s a “yes-woman” and she will always offer her perspective with clear rationale when asked. Third: She cares so much - you can tell she genuinely wants to have each wedding be the best it can be! As you look through her portfolio (check out her instagram “@wewedwell”, where she began making reels post weddings) you’ll see that each wedding is unique and beautiful - no cookie cutter copy and paste here! Our respect for Claire grew through the little moments, whether it’s her proactive emails/lists telling us our immediate next steps (many of which would never occur to me), following up with vendors without prompting, super organized Google drive for resources, and just being extremely responsive (or proactively telling us when she may be slower to respond while working a wedding/on vacation/etc) We loved working with Claire!

I had such a positive experience working with the Dhalia team for my private estate wedding. Both Melissa and Deliece were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. Joy was incredible to work with as our Month Of Coordinator, can’t recommend her and the Taylored Events team enough! We’d already selected our venue, vendors, and design, but wanted support with ironing out final details, timelines, and day-of logistics. We initially weren’t sure if we needed a coordinator to begin with, but are so glad we went with them, especially because it made the day completely stress free, not only for us as the couple, but just as importantly, for our family and wedding party. Joy gave us a spreadsheet to help us check off everything we needed for planning, created our timeline down to the minute for the day of, coordinated all communication with vendors leading up to and throughout the wedding, oversaw our rehearsal walk-through the day before (on site), and set up our decor for us. Special touches included being so kind to our flower girls and keeping them entertained (thank you to Joy’s assistant, Lindsey) during speeches, taking phenomenal candids and Polaroids throughout (we had a camera out for guests to use during reception, pic attached), and helping with my quick dress change. Joy & team are super organized, friendly, diligent, professional, and flexible — and they really care about everyone having a great time. Huge thanks for all you did to allow us to be 100% present with each other and with our loved ones on our special day!

We had Christina do our month-of/day-of coordination for our wedding and she truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! It's been a few weeks and I'm still in awe with what she did with my mess of decorations that I threw at her!!! I work in a creative field myself, so I got down and dirty with the D.I.Y. for our big day. I, kid you not, had 300 colorful bud vases, 200 colorful candle holders/votives, and a massive amount of other silly decorations for her to set up for us. I did my best to stay organized for her sanity - but let me tell you - IT WAS A HUGE COMPLICATED JOB and she did it with such ease. I kept apologizing for the amount of work I was giving her, I felt like I was being a little insane with it all LOL... but she was incredibly kind, calm, and reassuring with me through the whole process and kept telling me to stop apologizing LOL!! She is so super knowledgable about everything and has such good instincts about event planning. I added on a 30 minute planning session a few months before she started her coordinating for me - and it was incredibly helpful. Aside from her eye for decorations and impeccable creativity, she was also so so so amazing in coordinating the event in general. I had multiple people from the wedding party ask "wait so that's your coordinator?" and then follow with something along the lines of "she's awesome she just told me where to go and what to do so fast - and I was like YES M'AM" All of the party loved working with her, from my parents to my in-laws. I cannot stress enough how much of an amazing person she is through and through - and if you're lucky enough to get in her books for your wedding, you won't regret it!!

One of the big pieces of advice my husband and I first received from married friends was to hire a wedding planner/coordinator and we are SO happy we went with the Merry by Mia team for our May 2024 wedding at Audrey’s Farmhouse! Mia and her team are top-notch, and are incredibly knowledgeable about our venue, to boot! While Merry by Mia bill themselves as “day-of coordinators”, their support really started months before our wedding. From the moment we jumped on our first call with Mia, we knew her team was right for us. She was so warm and excited for us, and was willing to answer any questions we had via phone call, email, and over “office hours” that she hosts on weekends for any couple her team is supporting - even if their “day-of” services haven’t technically started yet. When we weren’t sure about our wedding timeline for the day of, Mia sent us a sample timeline from another May wedding her team had coordinated at our same venue from a previous year. When we had questions about our officiant’s script, Mia sent us the skeleton script she had used when she officiated a wedding, complete with sentence starters for different vows. When we were struggling to find HMU artists who worked with diverse wedding parties, Mia sent us suggestions - one of which we booked and were so so happy with! When we were debating what late-night food to get our guests, Mia said she still dreamed of the Audrey’s team’s chicken fingers…and so of course we went with the chicken fingers - and guess what our guests still talk about?! These are just some of the many examples of how much we really relied on Mia’s expertise and support in the months leading up to the wedding, and how she continually went above and beyond. When it came to our actual wedding coordination, Mia let us know that she wouldn’t be available, and so we’d be working with her colleague Sara, who had actually coordinated Mia’s own wedding. Sara, too, was incredible. From about three months out from the wedding, Sara was in constant contact with us about upcoming vendor deadlines, helping us organize our final timeline, floor plans, and vendor COIs. She liaised with our venue when we had additional questions, and sent us resources for all sorts of things, from figuring out how to get our officiant (a family member) ordained to locating websites where we could generate wedding crosswords for free. Sara assisted us both on the rehearsal night, making sure things went smoothly, and the wedding day. She immediately connected with my family when we arrived, putting my parents at ease, and was wonderfully calm, steady, and supportive on the day of the wedding, from helping set up our tables and making sure all signage was placed appropriately, to helping me get a pollen stain out of my wedding dress with stain remover from her all-encompassing emergency kit, to arranging for an extra seat for a surprise guest who showed up, to getting band-aids and my husband’s and my dancing shoes (Nike Dunks) to us during dinner after my husband developed a blister from his loafers, to packing our decor back up at the end of the night. Mia and Sara had assured us that on the day of the wedding, all the planning we’d done together would pay off and we wouldn’t have to stress about a thing - and I can say our wedding was truly stress-free. Both Mia and Sara ended up feeling like friends by the end of this process, and I am so so glad we put our wedding in their hands.

Working with Jamie was truly better than I could have imagined! She was our day-of coordinator for our September 2025 wedding, but truly, she was there for us with support and planning from Day 1.
