I fell in love with the Wedding Industry when my sister got married during the HEIGHT of COVID (August 2020) and we were put in the position of having to make about a million changes to accommodate health and safety needs. Theresa was absolutely amazing! She coordinated and decorated our wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The decorations were better than we could have envisioned and our timeline was smooth sailing. I have catered weddings and almost every wedding had some hitch but ours did not. Theresa was prepared for every second but was also flexible as needed. She made the day stress free and was a comfort in the process. Her communication, professionalism, warmth, and preparedness was over a five star! You do not realize how much goes into planning a wedding until you start planning one and without Theresa many things would have been missed, things as simple as what drinks will you be drinking out of to important things like who is cutting your cake after the feeding of the cake. We never had to worry about missing something or forgetting something because Theresa was knowledgeable about the order and process of wedding planning. If you ask she will tell you how things are done traditionally but she is open to make any changes and will help you figure out what works best for you. I could not recommend her more! I wish we had all of our wedding photos back to give more examples of the beautiful decorating she does!

All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Where do I even begin? Liz is truly a one of a kind human being. I don’t think I could ever fully put into words how exceptional she is. We didn’t originally plan on hiring a wedding planner. But about nine months out, I quickly realized I needed help. Choosing Liz ended up being one of the best decisions we made. She guided us through every detail with ease and confidence. Not only did she help manage our entire wedding, but she also planned our honeymoon, which turned out to be beyond anything we ever could have imagined. One of our top activities in Aruba opened for reservations the day after our wedding, and Liz booked it immediately that morning to get us in. She booked all activities and restaurants for us. Anytime I had a question, which was often, she responded within minutes or simply called me. She made everything fun, approachable, and stress-free. She kept detailed tabs on every task and ensured nothing slipped through the cracks. Even when I had the majority of vendors and plans in place, she refined everything with such precision. She understood my personality and how overwhelmed I can get, even when things are technically “done,” and she guided me through everything with patience and grace. The week of the wedding, she checked in frequently. On the day of, she was phenomenal. Every detail was set up exactly how we envisioned it. Labeling bins and décor helped her and her assistant move seamlessly, and I’m so grateful because she executed our entire moody/vintage aesthetic vision flawlessly. Two days before the wedding, when I couldn’t find greenery anywhere, Liz made one or two calls and found it instantly. I’ll never forget when I urgently needed our honeymoon flight information for our rental car info and she literally pulled over on the highway to send it to me. That is who she is, someone who goes above and beyond in ways most people wouldn’t even consider. Her pricing is more than fair, and her service is worth every single penny. Whether you need full-service planning or just check-ins, she adapts to exactly what you need. I had most things planned, but still had countless details and small several questions lol. No matter how minor or silly they felt, she always responded with kindness and expertise. Our FaceTime meetings became a highlight of the planning process. Occasionally, her pups or her daughter would pop into the frame, making everything feel personal-not like a business transaction, but like talking to a friend who genuinely cared about us and our day. Liz is an amazing planner, but she is an even better human. Humble, compassionate, creative, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable, especially with florals. I made my own centerpieces, and with her guidance, they turned out exactly how I imagined. Russell and I are endlessly grateful she was part of our wedding. First off let me state that if anyone if planning a wedding, definitely hire a Day of Coordinator, even if you think you do not need on as it definitely helps the day go smoother! I also recommend not hiring the cheapest coordinator as remember you get what you pay for and some are just not experienced at all as I learned this the hard way!!!!!!! I hired another lady because she was cheaper and she turned out to be horrible!!!! I found this company and spoke with Alex and Ariel at the beginning and let me tell you...... what a relief. I told them about the situation with the other planner and they were so kind and understanding. I am so happy to have found someone who was more of what i needed and knew what they were doing. Everything was great. They have a portal you can communicate with as well as text messages and so on. I felt great and anytime i felt overwhelmed with anything, they were there to help me! I hired most of my vendors, but the bartender and caterer they provided was wonderful and the food was spectacular!!!!! Everyone had lots of fun and our coordinators for the day were both awesome and on top of everything. I am telling you all now..... hire them!!!!

We hired Jacinda for month/day of coordination and it was honestly the BEST decision we made while wedding planning! We got to work with Jacinda and LeAnna and they were absolutely amazing! They were so organized and easy to work with, we had full faith in them to help us execute the perfect day. Added plus, they are so fun to hang out with! LeAnna was on top of everything the day of, if something went wrong we have no idea. I was a DIY bride and LeAnna made my vision come to life! Her motto — which you’ll hear a lot — is “we can do that!” Just one small example of many: I procrastinated on getting a hairstylist only to finally do a trial and realize I really didn’t like the result. Without even being asked, Stacy immediately jumped in and found multiple incredible hairstylists, even reaching out to confirm their availability and pricing. I’ve had so many people compliment me on the wedding, specifically how thoughtful and well-executed it was. Almost every single one of them has mentioned Stacy. Her professionalism, competency, and uncanny ability to subtly resolve any last-second problems makes for a stress-free event where your only job truly is to enjoy the day. And her attention to detail (like putting cute tags on the water carafes with refill instructions) makes even the littlest pieces feel special. She was always exactly where I needed her on the wedding day, checking in, making sure we were fed, re-bustling my dress moments before our first dance. As an event planner and type A personality it was hard to turn something over to someone when you have a vision in your head of what it should look like Those fears and that anxiety were put to rest as soon as I met Courtney and her team. Her month, week and day of coordination went off without a hitch. There were hiccups as with all weddings but I never even knew about them. Her team knew what I needed before I ever even said anything. I cant recommend Combe & Co to enough people.

Kristin was a joy to work with, as was her entire team. From the first time we met, I knew I wanted to work with her. I was on the fence about having a coordinator and everyone in my wedding party agrees, we couldn’t have done it without Kristin! She is a fun, energetic, loving person who delivered on all the details. Bonus-she executed an insane grazing table for our cocktail hour, as well as smaller ones for the bridal party throughout the day. The only thing I’m sad about is our wedding is over so I don’t get to communicate with Kristin as often! Do yourself a favor, hire her. Everyone will love her and you’ll meet a friend.

Where to even begin with Balazs Events...I could not imagine my wedding day without the magic that is Parris! From our first conversation, I knew Parris was the planner for us. My husband and I reached out to several premier planners in South Carolina, but Parris stood out immediately for her lightning fast replies, genuine curiosity and interest in our vision, and her warm, friendly demeanor. Parris is a pro. Her contact list of vendors has been curated to the very best and we enjoyed listening to everyone from the florist to the caterer to the live painter all gush about how she's their favorite planner to work with. It's easy to see why. She comes to every meeting prepared with questions, a list of what she's finished since our last conversation, charts, diagrams, everything. As a Type A woman in business myself, it brought me so much joy to see her lay out a printed floor plan of the venue, detailed down to the outlets in the walls, at every meeting and watch it grow in detail as time went on. She kept us on schedule, on budget, and most importantly, STRESS FREE! Leading up to the wedding, Parris was diligent with ensuring we hit every crucial milestone and secured our vendors early. She worked in plenty of vendor discounts along the way, and made sure to incorporate every element from the big ticket items we knew we wanted from day 1 (looking at you, light up dance floor) to the last minute details we just couldn't get off our minds. My favorite thing about planning my wedding with Parris is that she let me take the reins on whatever was important to me and made everything else just...happen. So effortlessly it was like magic. I felt her constant commitment to making sure the day had my signature on it, even down to a few last minute changes I requested that she somehow brought to life. My wedding day was genuinely the happiest day of my life. Parris planned every last detail. The sheer level of detail in her complete day-of schedule is seriously reason enough to book her. If there were any issues with vendors, guests, etc., I have still not heard about them over a month later. I was completely stress free and was able to be fully present in the bliss that comes from marriage to your best friend. If you are planning a large wedding, call Parris. If you are planning a small, intimate wedding, call Parris. If you aren't sure where to start, call Parris. If you already know what you want, call Parris. She is the premier planner in Columbia, SC for a reason. She is a true professional and my only regret is that I will not get the chance to plan another wedding with her!
