My name is Makenzie, a North Carolina native and UNC–Chapel Hill graduate with a love for creativity, organization, and meaningful moments. When I’m not researching vendors, breaking down budgets, or perfecting timelines, you can usually find me hiking, crafting, or spending time with my mini-me’s. Wedding planning felt like a natural calling once I realized I could combine my love for celebrations with my knack for lists, spreadsheets, and problem-solving. I approach each couple like a trusted friend, creating a calm, supportive planning experience so you can truly enjoy your engagement and wedding day.
I’m a best friend in your corner, not just a vendor. I genuinely care about my couples and make sure you feel heard, supported, and stress-free throughout the process. | Description | With this package you are a top tier couple. In addition to the Signature Package I will also provide schedule and management of out-of-town guests, book hotel room blocks, plan and coordinate wedding party brunches/luncheons, track RSVPs, and manage anything in between! | You've got the ball rolling but now you're looking for a little extra help in figuring out all the fine details in between, then this package is for you! In addition to the Day-Of Management Package I will also help you in creating a budget, finalizing design aspects, and complete vendor research to make sure you have everything you need for your big day! This package begins once you sign the contract! | This package is ideal for those that have already planned everything but just want to relax on their big day! Beginning one month prior to your wedding day you will have unlimited calls, texts, emails with me and I will be a part of all final vendor and venue meetings/walk-throughs. Amazing Event Planner!!!!
We found Carolina Event Masters through Facebook-it's always a little bit of a gamble finding people to work with without a reference from someone you know but everything about Makenzie’s website and how responsive she was made me feel confident in moving forward with her! Makenzie was very responsive from the get-go, and I enjoyed the "get-to-know-you" call. I feel like it allowed me to tell her what my vision was and if we could be on the same page / work together toward that vision! Everything about working with Makenzie was the best! But I would have to say her organization and keeping in touch with me regularly really stood out to me. It was super helpful especially for thinking of things I wouldn't have thought of and making sure all the bases were covered! I never once felt like I couldn't ask her a question, I never felt abandoned, and I felt like she was truly invested in what my husband and I wanted and made our wants a reality. I couldn't be happier and am so thankful to have worked with her! I would DEFINITELY recommend Carolina Event Masters to anyone and everyone looking for a kind, organized, and overall amazing wedding coordinator! Makenzie took everything we were looking for in our wedding day and made it happen! I couldn't have asked for a better experience working with her. If you hire Makenzie you will feel secure about planning your wedding day to accomplish what you are looking for to make the day special!
