Hi There! We're Brett & Kate We started Stupid Events after realizing we cared deeply, maybe concerningly, about event flow, lighting, table spacing, food timing and whether guests were wandering around awkwardly with a drink and no idea where to go next. Our shared belief? Events should be beautiful, organized, and genuinely fun. If it’s stressful, awkward, or boring… something has gone very wrong.

Stupid Events brings together event planning, design, and catering under one cohesive team, creating weddings and celebrations where every element works together seamlessly. Instead of treating food, logistics, and aesthetics as separate pieces, we approach events holistically—ensuring the experience feels thoughtful from the first idea to the final plate served. With a background in hospitality operations and chef-driven cuisine, we combine strong planning and service expertise with creative design and memorable food. The result is events that run smoothly, feel deeply personal, and are anything but cookie-cutter.
