I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. I was almost not going to choose Ingrid as a wedding coordinator and that would have been one of my biggest regrets as a bride for my wedding. I actually had already put a small deposit down for another wedding coordinator, but once I met Ingrid, she stole my heart. She was my calm to my storm, my ying to my yang, my Robin to my Batman…etc Ingrid is not only an amazing wedding coordinator, but she is also an amazing wedding officiant. She took our love story and crazy ceremony ideas (such as taking a shot with us along with our guests before we sealed the deal or taping our ring box underneath one of the chairs for a surprise ring bearer) and created the ceremony of our dreams. To hear from multiple guests that it was the best ceremony they attended was the best compliment we could receive because the ceremony is the most important part of a wedding. It was my favorite part of my wedding. Then she can amazingly switch gears from officiant to wedding coordinator and rock that too. She can do it all (literally). I always have other couples tell us that their wedding day goes by very fast and they didn’t really get to enjoy all the little things. However, my husband and I felt like our special day did not go by so fast and we most definitely got to enjoy the little things mainly because Ingrid took care of everything behind the scenes that no one sees. She created an amazing timeline for us, took charge of our vendors, made sure we were right on schedule with everything, was super communicative along the way… the list goes on and on. She is everything you would want in a wedding coordinator. I am very sad I won’t get to work with her anymore unless I get married again lol, but I would recommend her to anyone I know and hopefully get to see her in action again.

I truly can’t say enough amazing things about Carissa and her team at Positively Charming Weddings. She was the very first vendor I hired for my wedding, a year and a half in advance. Within the first 2 minutes of chatting with Carissa the first time, I knew we were the perfect match. She is incredibly organized, compassionate, an amazing listener, and isn’t afraid to take the lead and make decisions when necessary. She is thoughtful, calm, has a wealth of wedding industry knowledge and was able to provide personalized suggestions based on my preferences at every turn. To be honest, I was originally super nervous and anxious to hire a wedding planner, as I am a very type A person because of my job as a programs and event planner. But Carissa exceeded all expectations and truly was able to allow me to relax and enjoy my wedding weekend without a worry in the world. She was a problem solver every step of the way. For example, she offered to manually fixed my seating chart the day before the wedding and found a print shop willingly to print very specific last minute signage (both things that were my fault that they were delayed/wrong). She kept not only me, but my husband and both families on track leading up to the wedding, provided monthly checklists, was available via phone and email for my questions, and even provided bridal party itineraries the weekend of. Her and her team were incredibly easy to work with, and our other vendors and bridal party members said the exact same thing. She can work with anyone, with any personality type, and makes you feel important and heard. If you want someone to go above and beyond for you, look no further! She will make your day everything YOU want it to be. Couldn’t recommend her and her team more…I walked away with a new friend!

This was invaluable. It was also amazing that we could select "a la carte" additional services for certain needs (e.g. furniture rentals) without having to commit to full-scale planning services. I met Christina at a Bridal Expo and was amazed with the offered Day Of Coordination package. I was able to easily communicate my priorities on the special day and even share my wedding pet peeves to avoid. Christina was excellent at brainstorming ideas and suggested plenty of ways to approach a situation. When we worked on building the timeline together, she was very thorough and insightful. I sent her so many timeline revisions (as timing means EVERYTHING and it definitely matters), but Christina took them and made it look seamless. On the wedding day, Christina and her team (thank you Heather and Leanna!) made sure we were happy and stress-free. Our morning started with Heather running the errands of the busy morning and was the go-to person for myself and the wedding entourage. Heather was also able to help us create a floral bouquet we used for our ceremony offering. It turned out so beautiful! She did a terrific job. I was always reminded to take a bite of food and to stay hydrated while we were getting ready. Christina helped us execute the ribbon wand exit after our church ceremony. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. Everyone had so much fun doing it. As for the reception, Ingobo was able to help set the table decorations- centerpieces, candles, name cards, order of guests, etc. Leanna was at our side making sure we were well-fed and no one pulled us away from the sweetheart table. She was able to give us reminders of the timeline and was very sweet. Overall, Christina and her team orchestrated our wedding day perfectly. We received many compliments from our guests stating they noticed how smooth the day went. Ingobo's Day of Coordination services made a huge impact on how we were able to enjoy our special day. My husband and I are truly grateful for hiring them as part of our wedding team.

Planning a destination wedding in Cairo, Egypt came with its fair share of complexities. We had guests traveling from all over the world and were trying to blend three cultures - Lebanese, Egyptian, and American. In Egypt, most wedding planners focus only on décor and receptions, so I found myself struggling with the schedule and flow of logistics beyond that. There were so many moving parts - the ceremony, the bridal party, the reception - and I didn’t have a planner or a day-of coordinator to help me execute the day smoothly. Alex stepped in and became my anchor. She gathered every detail and built an hour-by-hour plan that carried us through the day, from getting ready to the end of the night. That included the procession of the church ceremony, the musical cues, the reception entrance order, the dj song list order, etc. She helped me create breakout schedules to give to each vendor so they all knew what part of the day mattered for them to take part in. Alex brought so much understanding and cultural awareness to our wedding. She respected the way that weddings are done in Egypt, Lebanon, and America, and helped me blend certain moments from each tradition into our wedding. Every special moment flowed. I truly couldn’t imagine how the day would have went without her. She gave me peace of mind, comfort, and support that made me feel extremely take care of on the most important day of my life.

Events by Angela Monique (with her team of 3) was our wedding planner, and we were pleased with their service. Their communication style summarized conversations, was direct, and inquisitive to vendors, primarily through email, and they were assertive in keeping us on track. The quality of their work was comprehensive, detailed, and particular. They did an excellent job setting up and tearing down all of the decorations, and their day-of coordination was flawless, though the pre-planning process was a bit stressful due to some misalignment between their vision and ours. Overall, Angela Monique was a brilliant day-of coordinator, flexible with travel fees, and provided us with a bonus video of the event photos.

Alexis’ Cheers Event Company is one of the greatest coordinator and planning services we ever encountered. She made us feel comfortable that we didn’t have to worry about anything the day of the wedding.
