We took on a lot of planning ourselves, and hired Rina to be our day of coordinator--or really month of coordinator--and out of all of our planning decisions, hiring Rina was one of the best decisions we made. Ahead of our first call, we sent a long document outlining the ideas we had--which she looked through and gave us useful feedback on as we considered what support we needed most. We had some unique ideas for how to do things our own way--and it was also clear from our conversation, that while Rina knows how to do a "textbook" wedding--she also knows how to listen to clients to help them make their unique vision a reality, even if that requires some creative thinking, crafting, or problem solving. When we did our venue walkthrough a month before the event, we sent Rina another long document, floorplan, and schedule the day before--and she once again arrived familiar with all of it. She had crucial suggestions, important questions we hadn't thought of, and proved again she was the right person to help us get prepared for the big day. That pattern repeated once more at rehearsal which was very efficient! The day of our wedding, Rina was punctual, professional, and in expert control running the show we had put together. She had already connected with all of our vendors, reviewed all the decorations we designed and how they set up, and was fully familiar with the timeline. When the inevitable surprises popped up, she was quick to roll with the punches--in a way that kept our plans on track! The entire event was not just beautiful, unique, and exactly the vibe we had envisioned--but it was also EXACTLY ON SCHEDULE, from set up to the paper lantern send off at the end! We are thoroughly impressed, and can't recommend Rina highly enough! She was our not so secret weapon. Let her be yours too! And make no mistake, while we had Rina as our month-of-coordinator--we would have absolutely hired Rina to take on the entire thing if we hadn't enjoyed planning so much (and even then, we couldn't have finished the plans without her input!). I will also say, having planned so much ourselves, it really made it very personal to us that the schedule we made, the decorations we crafted, and the timeline we envisioned were faithfully executed. It was so personal, that I thought it would be hard to hand off our cherished plan to someone else. Who could know it as well as us or care as much? But every conversation with Rina made letting go easy, because it was so clear she was listening to us, and understanding us. There is no one else we would've trusted with our plan except Rina.

My husband initially chose Carmen because they went to the same school, and I have to admit, I was sceptical. I worried it might end up being two against one. I could not have been more wrong. From the very beginning, Carmen treated both of us as individuals and worked tirelessly to merge our ideas into one beautiful, cohesive event that felt authentically us. One of the first signs that she was the right fit came after our initial meeting. We shared a frustrating story about another planner who refused to work with us unless we increased our (already healthy) budget. Carmen immediately took our budget seriously and promised to make magic within it, and on that, she delivered. Even while she was going through a difficult time personally, she remained a consummate professional. We would never have known what she was facing because she always made us feel like her top priority. Whether it was a late evening Zoom to accommodate my teaching schedule or a weekend email reply, she was always responsive, thoughtful, and fully invested in making our vision come to life. Carmen also connected us with the perfect vendors. She knew exactly who would match our personalities and bring our ideas to life. Our photographer captured the day in a way that still takes our breath away, our florist executed our language of flowers vision flawlessly, and our DJ kept the dance floor packed all night long. Each vendor felt like an extension of us, and that was entirely due to Carmen’s insight, relationships, and ability to see who would be the right fit for our style and energy. We came into the process with very strong opinions about certain things and complete indifference about others. Carmen gently helped us understand how each element contributed to a cohesive vision. When she needed to steer us in a better direction, she did so respectfully and with clear professional reasoning, never dismissing our ideas, but showing us how to elevate them. On the day of the wedding, we truly had zero cares. I had been anxious because my family can be… let’s say, “passionately opinionated.” Carmen took the time to understand the dynamics and navigated every idiosyncrasy with grace and diplomacy. She managed to honour everyone’s opinions while still protecting our vision. My family felt respected, and I felt completely at ease, which I did not think was possible! Our wedding day exceeded every expectation we had. At the end of the night, we even convinced Carmen to join us at the after-party for a drink, a moment that made it clear she was not just our planner. She had become a friend. We can not wait to include her in the personal milestones to come, not just as a planner, but as someone who has become part of our lives. We cannot recommend Carmen and the Evermore team enough. They are talented, organised, kind, and utterly dedicated.

Not to mention she was checking in on me and my husband throughout to make sure we had eaten, had drinks, and that we were doing okay! She also helped me with changing out of my dress later in the night! I can honestly say Meghan was the BEST decision I ever made. She really is just an awesome person and excels at her job because she truly wants to make your wedding special. Mari is IT. My husband and I met with a handful of coordinators who all seemed qualified and capable, but none that seemed to vibe with our energy UNTIL we met Mari! Right away she was calming and tuned in and warm. She felt like someone we would hang out with but then make that person an organizational wizard.As first time wedders, who had never imagined a specific wedding day aesthetic or theme, we would frequently worry this whole thing might not come together. But IT DID under Mari's expert guidance! And not only was it a big success (imo) she also never made us feel dumb or wrong or like bad engaged people for breaking tradition or for asking if we need Welcome signs. Mari was very good about holding us to our deadlines but not hounding us. When we felt like we were months behind she assured us we were in a good place.And then the day of the wedding, Mari and Anjeanette, were like the 1992 US Men's Olympic basketball team! Just two pros moving seamlessly, never missing. If we had a question, they had the answer before we asked. I always wondered how weddings happen without the bride and groom being pulled in every direction. Elle Events is how.

We knew instantly after our initial phone call that Michelle was going to be an essential vendor for our wedding. At first, we looked at a coordinator as insurance in case something happened, but she was so much more than that - she made sure we weren't missing anything in our plans, that our vendors were in the loop, and that our day was as perfect as possible. Michelle was a dream to work with; she made us feel so calm and prepared. Her communication was prompt, proactive, and encouraging (which I desperately needed towards the final weeks). I am sure something went wrong behind the scenes, but to this day, I couldn't tell you what because Michelle handled everything. I was a big DIY bride and wasn't sure if I needed a coordinator, but I am so glad we had her there in the weeks leading up to the wedding. From final walk-throughs to creating our schedule to guiding the rehearsal to execution on the day, her work allowed us to be fully present with our guests and not worry about the logistics. Penderview Events truly went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. As a DIY and meticulous bride, we knew Anna was the one we would entrust with our vision the moment we had our phone consultation; she was so incredibly sweet and enthusiastic about our big day, and I immediately felt a sense of ease that she will be able to handle all the shenanigans and i can pass her the torch with ease. Although she was hired for "day of", she assisted us in any way possible months leading to and made sure we were on top of all the important tasks leading up to the day of (i.e. vendors contact info, finalizing timeline for the morning/day of, etc.). My big day unfortunately started off disastrous (I became car sick), so I was unable to give guidance with the decor during set up. But since one of the tasks Anna asked me weeks prior was for a list with all the decor and how/where I wanted them placed, Penderview legit made my vision come true!!!!!!!! Penderview was so attentive, that they were even able to place some items which I gave no instructions for (i.e. last minute decided that we wanted wedding party to sit during the ceremony, so I made name placement cards for the reserved chairs, and without mentioning it, they were placed on the chairs in processional order). Penderview was able to execute every event and details on the timeline FLAWLESSLY, and I was able to enjoy the event with ease knowing that everything was in such capable hands. We felt and saw how invested Penderview was throughout the day in making it perfect for us, especially the attention to details and handling all the logistics smoothly behind-the-scenes. I also really appreciated Anna’s assertiveness when hiccups would arise (ie, making sure guests wouldnt be walking in while were ready down the aisle/stay out of view, wedding party prioritized drinking and forgot to come back for portraits; flower girls kept running infront of camera during portraits, and so many other headaches i did not want to deal with, etc.) Not only was Anna able to accomplish and execute my vision beyond expectations, but she was also my emotional support and my right-hand lady, making sure I was always hydrated. Anna’s empathetic and kind demeanor made her feel more like a close friend than just a ‘day of coordinator’. Hiring Penderview was the best investment we made. Thank you so much for making our day magical and we will forever be grateful to Penderview!!!
