The day of, she was at the venue early to make sure everything was set-up perfectly, then broke down/cleaned up everything when we were done with the luncheon. Overall, she took a huge load off my shoulders when it came to everything that needed to be sourced and set-up for this event - I was very much able to enjoy the party and be a proper host, and didn't have to spend my nights and weekends with coordination leading up to the event.”

When catering forgot our menus at our wedding, she created and printed new ones hours before dinner. For our reception, she helped me with my dress, carried my things while we took pictures, and kept everything running efficiently while we were busy partying and too tipsy to care about a timeline. “Our venue required a day-of coordinator, which at first we were unsure about as a general idea, thinking we "didn't need one" (ha), but we'd do it because we had to. I had a call with Ashley, who I could immediately tell was the realest and most down to earth coordinator, just what we needed. We had general visions of our day, and Ashley was terrific about guiding us on how to make it all seamless, without ever pushing us towards any particular decision, just always listening to what we personally envisioned and telling us exactly how to make it happen in the most uncomplicated, budget-friendly, yet classy ways. We had phone calls at different intervals all the way from starting planning, to the week of the wedding, which kept us on track and saved us from forgetting time-sensitive tasks. Ashley did a lot of the communication with our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. When Ashley shared that she would not personally be the coordinator on our wedding day, she set up a video call with Nadia, who would also be assisted by Katherine, so that we would be as comfortable as possible. Nadia and Katherine did an incredible job day-of, to the point that I'm certain I must have missed some sort of chaos that I still don't know about, because everything seemed to go completely perfect and stress-free from my and my husband's perspective. My husband and some family members (mostly guys, for what it's worth...might not have understood the "vision") brought and set up a lot of the decor in the morning, but my husband shared that Nadia and Katherine were wonderful about making things really come together. Our entire process with Plume & Pearl, and especially our wedding day, was purely joyful and low-stress thanks to the team, and I can't imagine doing this without them!”

If I thought of something last minute to bring up to Renee she would immediately say with ease, “we have it handled, don’t worry about a thing!!” I can’t emphasize how much that meant to us. My biggest advice to anyone planning a wedding would be to book a wedding planner and to get RENEE!!!! We approached her in the fall with the crazy idea to throw a music festival wedding at the end of June at a riverside park- where we needed her to coordinate 3 bands AND bring in everything from restroom trailers to a food truck to mobile bartending. Not only did she rise to the challenge, but the day was more perfect than we could have ever imagined. She had a plan (and back-up plan!) for everything, and she coordinated with no less than 15 vendors to make sure that we didn’t have to worry about a thing during the wedding. She had a ton of local vendor suggestions, as well, for everything from flowers to misting fans. On top of that, she is a truly lovely human who was a JOY to work with.
