“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Christina Vargas and the incredible role she played in making my surprise 40th birthday celebration such a memorable event. While my husband was busy coordinating family and friends who traveled from near and far to celebrate with us, Christina stepped in and handled all of the final details, immediately putting his mind at ease and allowing him to actually enjoy the occasion. From coordinating the pickup of the catered food to setting up and breaking down the entire event space, Christina ensured everything ran seamlessly. Throughout the evening, she continuously checked on the room, tidied up, and kept everything organized so guests could focus on enjoying themselves rather than worrying about logistics. “We first met Connie Clark when our daughter was organizing her wedding reception. At that time, Connie was involved with a startup venue that was undergoing renovations. To cut a long story short, around 7 PM the evening before our daughter's reception, it became clear that the venue was not prepared. When the venue manager was not responding to her calls, she rallied the group that was financing the remodeling project. By 10 PM, the lead investor instructed Connie to find an alternative location for the reception, which was scheduled for the following evening. Connie reached out to a nearby coffee shop/bar, explained the situation, and requested the on-duty manager to contact the owner to see if the reception could be held there. Shortly after, Connie received confirmation that the reception would take place at the new venue. She informed the investment group about the change in location and began reorganizing for the new space. Our family learned of the change around 7:30 AM on the day of the reception, and once we gave our approval, Connie assembled a team and transformed the coffee house/bar into a beautiful reception hall. What Connie managed to coordinate and accomplish in such a brief period was truly remarkable.”

“When we started wedding planning, the only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted day-of coordination support. After we toured Olio and met Sarah, booking with her team at Without A Hitch was a no brainer and truly worth every penny. Our coordinator, Allison, supported us all along the way; no question was too big or too small. Her responses were timely, infinitely useful, and a massive weight off of our shoulders throughout the entire process. We leaned on many of her recommendations for vendors, including some of our very favorite wedding components like the arcade games we set up for guests and our awesome DJ. As we got closer to the event, it became clear just how great our choice was to work with Allison and Without a Hitch, they kept us (and our many, many vendors!) organized and I felt confident our day would go to plan. It guided us through important decisions and logistics we hadn't even considered yet, and looking back, we're so grateful those details were addressed ahead of time. She also proactively coordinated with our venue manager to clarify responsibilities and ensure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. “I genuinely cannot imagine our wedding without Evelyn and the Love & Laughter Weddings team. We live out of state and got married at my family’s estate in Carmel by the Sea, so from the beginning I knew we needed a wedding planner. We worked with Evelyn for about a year and a half and somehow every detail turned out even better than my pinterest dreams. Evelyn is truly a rockstar!! She is organized, kind, patient, and has this incredibly calming presence that makes you feel like everything is going to be okay, even when your anxiety has you convinced it is not. She was there for every planning call, every random question, and every panic email I sent after having some ridiculous wedding related dream in the middle of the night. Nothing ever made her seem overwhelmed. She would just calmly talk me through it, come up with a solution, and suddenly whatever I was stressing about didn't feel like a big deal anymore. We also used their in house design services, officiant, and live music and I cannot recommend them enough! Having so much of the wedding managed under one roof made planning SO easy and everything was incredibly cohesive. At some point during planning Evelyn told me that the goal for wedding day was “no thoughts, just vibes” and that became our running joke, but she was completely serious lol. When the wedding weekend finally came, I genuinely turned my brain off. I wasn't checking the time or worrying about setup or wondering what was supposed to happen next. For the first time in a year and a half, I wasn't thinking about the wedding, I was just IN it and enjoying it because I knew Evelyn had everything covered. Hiring Love & Laughter was hands down one of the best decisions we made. “At first, I was skeptical of hiring a day of coordinator as I am very organized and was pretty comfortable planning our day on my own. My main reason for hiring a day of coordinator was to not have to worry, to have someone who will help set-up things the way I would, and someone who I can count on to have all the answers for everyone else. Ayden went above and beyond. She is so calm and put together, she helped me more than I can put into words! We had a large wedding of 160 people with a good amount of intricate details. We also had rain that caused our entire ceremony to be switched a few hours before the start time. Ayden handled everything seamlessly. I seriously could not recommend her enough. She made sure my husband and I got wedding cake and extra dessert brought to our room with water for us at the end of the night. She is extremely kind and knowledgeable but encourages you to give your opinions and speak up. I also appreciated that Ayden had to make some executive decisions on her own like moving our LED sign where there wasn't a plug how I originally wanted it, she didn't stress me out with this question, she just handled it and made everything look amazing. I could not recommend her enough, we were so lucky to work with Ayden. I wish we could relive our wedding all over again with Ayden's help!”

“My husband and I hired Madison as our day of coordinator. We did not hire a florist and ended up doing a lot of DIY projects for our wedding decor. We really wanted a professional to help us with setup and take-down of decor on the wedding day, so as not to burden our family/friends and take them away from the event to help. Madison was so friendly in the months leading up to the wedding and offered us lots of helpful advice on things we didn't even think to prepare for, like arranging seating charts and timing of processional songs. Our original venue coordinator ended up having to move away just a couple weeks before our wedding day, and Madison took the lead in syncing with the new venue coordinator on all the things we'd talked about. This really helped us out and took a load off our plate in those last few weeks before the wedding! The day of, she came early to the venue and, like a fairy godmother, had incorporated all of our decorations beautifully before we even arrived, so we were able to take lots of photos beforehand! Throughout the event, she cleverly found ways to repurpose some of our decor items to give them a second life, like setting reception flower arrangements along the room's bookshelves to dress them up for the ceremony, making a beautiful display with our ceremony roses and boutonnieres on our memory table, and using me and my bridesmaids' bouquets to create a beautiful sweetheart table arrangement! We were so incredibly thrilled with how well Madison and her team were able to follow our vision and exceed our expectations. A final sweet memory I have from near the end of the night - my hair was getting very tangled with my dress buttons on my back from dancing, and I was overheating and sweaty. Madison and her team arranged my hair into a beautiful low bun style so I could go back and have fun dancing again without worrying about it tangling further or looking bad. :) I'm so thankful we hired Madison as our day of coordinator, and we can't recommend her enough!!”

We had some communication issues with our venue leading up to the wedding, but Cassie stepped in and resolved all of the details without us having to worry about a thing. If anything went wrong on the day of, we had no idea—she handled it all behind the scenes, she was so so awesome! Knowing she had it all under control gave us the peace of mind to fully enjoy our day. What truly touched us were the thoughtful extras. Cassie took photos and videos on her phone throughout the day, capturing moments and details we didn’t even think to ask for.
