“We had an intimate wedding of only 34 people and figured a coordinator wasn't necessary. That is until our venue-provided coordinator left the company and we realized just how much stuff we'd be juggling the day of the wedding if we didn't have someone on our side helping us out. That's exactly what Jules was for us. We hired her as our month-of/day-of coordinator. Leading up the wedding, she gave us a thorough questionnaire that helped us figure out a lot of details we hadn't even thought of. She was quick to respond to all email and questions. Then the day of the wedding came around and I can say I felt fully at ease knowing Jules was there to work her magic in the background. At the end of the night, she packed up all of our decor and personal items from the venue and loaded it up in our car which was a logistical detail we were stressing about until we hired Jules. She was even kind enough to drop the keys off at our hotel. I can't recommend her enough to future couples in the Monterey, Santa Cruz, or surrounding area!”

“Dawn was so incredibly wonderful for our 10-23-2025 wedding at Waterfall Lodge! We booked her a year and a half in advance and from the moment we booked with her, she was available and responsive. She worked with our schedules and took some of the wedding planning stress off of us. She even helped with recommendations on ways to save some money and utilize all vendors to our full potential. That’s just the planning part of it. Let’s get to the wedding day. From the very start of the rehearsal to the very end of the wedding day, Dawn was incredible. We had a crazy amount of extra people show up to the rehearsal itself who were not needed, but she guided everyone on where they needed to be despite all the extra commotion of extra family members wanting to be involved. The night before the wedding I went through all of my decorations and things that I had spent a lot of time crafting and creating with her and I just kind of spouted everything out all at once. Was I a little worried that she was just committing it all to memory and that my vision might not come to life? Yep. Should I have been worried? Not at all. She executed the vision I had with every little detail included to a tee. Seriously, she kept everything going smoothly. It all looked better than I had pictured it and I was in awe of her ability to keep things running so smoothly with so many different vendors. If there were things that went wrong, I have no idea because she not once gave me an inkling of any stress or anything. We even had a guest comment on how seamlessly she worked into the event. My favorite part of the day with Dawn comes to when we finally made it into dinner. We had ordered Chilis chips and salsa for cocktail hour as that’s where we met. At one point, Dawn came over with one whole bowl of chips and salsa (and sour cream because that’s my favorite) and plopped it onto our sweethearts table. It’s just all the small details that she took care of. It was one of my favorite parts of the day because it was so us. She was absolutely crucial in the best day of our lives and I cannot recommend her more. Thanks again for everything Dawn!”

“If you’re looking for a wedding planner - your search is over. Hiring Paige was one of the best decisions of our entire wedding, and I promise you’ll be impressed by her work too. We hired Paige about a year and a half before our wedding date, and we had absolutely no idea where to start. Throughout the entire process, Paige was patient with our questions, enthusiastic to help us achieve our goals and our outlandish ideas (whilst also helping us keep realistic on what was possible) and always went the extra mile to ensure the process was as smooth as possible for us. Paige managed all of the vendor communications for us, which was a massive help whilst we juggled our full-time jobs and other commitments. Reflecting on the experience now, there is no way we could have found our vendors (who were absolutely phenomenal and largely sourced and recommended by Paige’s expertise) and managed the communication with them half as well as she did for us. She kept the entire wedding planning progressing, helped us work through difficult challenges as they arose, and became our number one confidant and trusted friend throughout the process. On the wedding day itself, Paige was incredible. “Claire played such a big role in our perfect wedding day. We planned a simple DIY wedding with minimal decor. She was so helpful from our first consultation call. There were things we didn't know to consider or how to find, and she was so willing to offer recommendations and suggestions. “It goes without saying that when it comes to event planning, Andrina gets it! She's insanely creative and at the same time refreshingly collaborative. When I contacted her about organizing a romantic marriage proposal, she made it a priority to understand my vision and then build off of it. Given that I wanted to propose in Big Sur but couldn't come up from LA without getting caught, Andrina scouted several locations, took photos and videos, and kept me updated on all our options as they developed. She was transparent in all our communications and was always conscious of our budget when giving suggestions. The execution of this proposal was flawless and exactly what I imagined. There was a beautiful picnic arrangement waiting for us as at a secluded, picturesque spot where photographers were inconspicuously pretending to be tourists until I popped the question. After an intimate photoshoot we proceeded to a surprise dinner with the rest of the family at a local restaurant, where the table had been pre-arranged with flowers and custom menus. “Michelle, Gennie, and Raymundo were SO helpful for our wedding planning. They are professional, organized, and well-connected to a strong network of vendors. A lot of the process ended up just interviewing the vendors that they found and recommended once we told them what we were looking for, which was fairly painless (especially as compared to typical wedding planning). “I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! “My partner and I were looking for guidance and help in planning our wedding celebration. We were recommended Two Perfect Events by our venue, Mister Jiu's, given their prior collaboration and experience with them. We were kindly welcomed by Leah and introduced to our planner, Yoko, who was amazing, carefully guiding and making our vision a reality, accommodating our preferences and budget, and helping us with the design and layout of the big day with all of our vendors. She provided multiple vendor options, communicated closely with them and us throughout the bidding and hiring process, and ensured we were all on the same page from planning through the walkthrough and up to the day of the event. One of the greatest things about this process was the clear, concise communication and organization that made planning, payments, and decision-making understandable, step by step, rather than a labyrinth of crossed wires and deadlines. The day of our wedding was as effortless as could be. It was great to have the team from Two Perfect Events, along with Yoko and Leo, there to assist with setting up and taking down decorations and rentals, help guide guests, event staff, and our vendors, and ensure everything, including our deliveries and rentals, went according to plan. We also appreciated that our planners kept an eye on both of us the entire night to ensure we were doing well and enjoying the festivities, getting our food, making sure we were at the right place at the right time, and saving any items for our personal requests. We did not expect that Two Perfect Events would take behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the entire day and the in-person walkthroughs, which gave us a chance to reminisce on the process and quickly provide a glimpse of our families and friends outside the eyes of our wonderful wedding photographers. We appreciated that our vendors were all in sync, and the coordinators ensured our entire process minimized the stress of planning, which was what we had hoped for all along. They provided us with good advice on choosing vendors, insurance for our wedding, and what to expect when working with multiple parties. It was evident that Two Perfect Events had considered multiple contingencies and scenarios in which snafus or unexpected issues may arise throughout the process, and we were glad that Yoko was always prepared for them, including giving us enough buffer time due to traffic delays so our guests could arrive on the big day. Everyone complimented us on the evening, and it went by so smoothly. They commented that this was the least stressful and most fun wedding they've been to in a long time, which conveyed the vibe we were going for. We wanted it to be a fun yet intimate evening where everyone enjoyed getting together to celebrate, and we were delighted to celebrate that day with them. “Hiring Ashley at Rose Event Co as our Day of Wedding Coordinator was definitely one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. I thought I was going to be able to manage planning our entire wedding myself, but as the day crept closer and closer, I realized that I was definitely going to need a hand. We spoke with a dozen different coordinators, and Ashley just stood out SO strongly amongst the rest. To put it as simply as possible, she saw our vision, she understood it, she stood in and shared in it with us. She knew exactly how to support us in making it happen, and she was easily able to make us feel that. We initially had concerns about her being located so far away from us (we're in Oakland, CA), but she put those concerns to rest so quickly! Throughout my months of planning after hiring Ashley, she was always there to answer my questions, and provide support and reassurance in all of the little things that I just wasn't sure how to handle myself, and she did so with such grace, patience, and an air of calm that was so extremely helpful and reassuring. When the month of our wedding arrived, Ashley quickly got to work on communicating with and organizing all of our vendors and laying out the structure for the day. She traveled to Monte Rio to be with us the day before our big day, walked us through the ceremony, went over all of the details, and left us so confident and comfortable in her extremely capable hands. The day of the wedding, Ashley handled EVERYTHING and EVERYONE with such care and tranquility. All of our wedding vendors absolutely loved her, and we never stopped hearing about how great she was to work with! Ashley is an absolute BOSS in all of the best ways that you can imagine! She is supportive, encouraging, communicative, active, helpful, caring, the list just goes on and on. She wants you to succeed, and you can FEEL it. She remembered and double checked on all of the little details, before, during, and after our wedding, and words simply cannot express our gratitude. She did so many things automatically, that I hadn't even thought to discuss with her, but was so grateful that we had her there to do. Thank you Ashley!! She did so many little things that I didn't even realize until I started looking through all of our photos, and noticed that they had all been done. On top of all of that, she basically packed up the entirety of our decor with the assistance of her extremely helpful husband, which was such a huge relief for us and for our wedding party who had put so much into the day. We were all able to completely disconnect and just enjoy the evening, which was so unbelievably priceless. There are so many things that make Ashley stand out from other coordinators. So many coordinators that we had talked to before Ashley had a big list of things that they would NOT do, but not Ashley. She was willing to do whatever needed to be done to ensure that our wedding day went perfectly, and it did, thanks to her!! HUGE bonus, she brought along her Super 8 camera, and we CANNOT WAIT to see the footage!! If you're looking for someone who has your back, and can handle ALL of the things with a level of calm that oozes into everyone around her, HIRE ASHLEY! You absolutely will not regret it.
