“We first met Island Creek Events at a bridal expo in Queenstown, and from that moment, we knew we were in good hands. After an initial Zoom call where they explained everything they offer, how the process would work with a day-of coordinator, and broke down all the pricing, we felt confident moving forward—and we’re so glad we did. We had Naomi as our day-of planner, and she was absolutely amazing. We truly could not have asked for a better person to help guide us through the final stretch leading up to our wedding on August 2nd. From the start, she made everything feel manageable. We Zoomed once a week to stay on track, and she walked us through what needed to be done on our end vs. what she would handle. She answered every question (big or small) and was always willing to schedule extra meetings if we needed them. I work at a wedding venue so I kept telling myself I got this I got this and right about 3 months out I was like nope I don’t got this I need to accept the fact I need help. With having relationships with a lot of coordinators it was hard to pick one so I initially went with Evivva since it was too hard to pick a “friendor” and I had not worked with them much but heard nothing but amazing things from brides I talked to. “All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. That level of care is so rare. She treated my wedding like it was just as important to her as it was to me. Not only did she become my wedding planner, but over this past year she truly became someone so special to me and my family. My family and friends could not stop complimenting her professionalism, kindness, work ethic, and calming presence. I literally had my mom’s friends texting me asking for her information because they were so blown away by her. Noelle made wedding planning FUN. She made it exciting instead of stressful. “Tara and her team are nothing short of incredible. We approached her in the fall with the crazy idea to throw a music festival wedding at the end of June at a riverside park- where we needed her to coordinate 3 bands AND bring in everything from restroom trailers to a food truck to mobile bartending. Not only did she rise to the challenge, but the day was more perfect than we could have ever imagined. She had a plan (and back-up plan!) for everything, and she coordinated with no less than 15 vendors to make sure that we didn’t have to worry about a thing during the wedding.
