Second Song
Rating: 5.0 (253 reviews)
Los Angeles, CA
  • DJ
  • Starts at $1,495

Second Song is a boutique Wedding and Event DJ/MC service. We are a network of some of the most experienced and most referred DJ/MCs in Southern California, and specialize in DJs that focus on providing you with a complete music and planning experience.

Awarded Best of Zola
Our venue didn’t allow live bands, so we worked with Second Song to book a DJ and a saxophonist — and they absolutely nailed it. We were incredibly specific with our music preferences and DJ personality (including needing someone bilingual in Spanish for our multicultural crowd). Rob was amazing — he sent us five DJs who fit our vibe perfectly, and we got to speak with each one before choosing. We went with John McGrath as our DJ and he was phenomenal. He met with us multiple times before the wedding to understand our very detailed vision and gave us total confidence that he’d “read the room” — which he did, flawlessly. The sax player brought a ton of energy, and together they kept the dance floor alive all night, which is exactly what we wanted

I am so happy to write a review for Seth and his team! From the very beginning, Seth has been a pleasure to work with. The first meeting I was very impressed by how he had researched the wedding venue and its layout so that he could ask us what our thoughts were on setup/DJ location placement etc. Our second meeting was then focused on how to set up the wedding playlist using the Vibo app. The app is fantastic, and an excellent way to keep track of the songs you wish to have played at certain time points (bridal processional, grand entrance, pre-ceremony, etc.). In the app you can request starting timepoints and leave extra notes for Seth to look over weeks before the wedding. Aside from these aspects, Seth went above and beyond to help us with other non-music related aspects of the wedding such as our wedding slideshow (that he helped give us step by step instructions so that the quality of the slideshow would be good for when it was projected on the wall of venue). He also created a mashup for my husband to dance with his mom ("Dance with me" mixed with "Just Dance"; it was amazing!). Even during the week of the wedding, when I had a mini-freak out, he was so kind and understanding. In the end, I 100% recommend Seth (and Matt too! He was at the Photo Booth, and he was so kind and was ready to help folks if any technical help was needed)! Seth's team is professional, kind, and has great attention to detail; if you can, book DJ Seth and his team for your wedding!

Randall de Leon Photography
Rating: 5.0 (51 reviews)
Los Angeles, CA
  • Photographer
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $2,000

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.

Awarded Best of Zola
Randall did an absolutely amazing job as our wedding photographer! The quality of his photos truly exceeded our expectations—every shot was beautifully captured and full of emotion. He was incredibly helpful with posing, which made a huge difference and helped us feel confident in front of the camera. What really stood out was how comfortable he made us feel throughout the entire day. He was polite, professional, and brought such a fun, positive energy that made the experience even more enjoyable. We also appreciated how flexible and efficient he was. Whenever I wanted to step away from photos to say hi to our guests, he worked quickly and seamlessly to keep everything on track without making us feel rushed. We’re so grateful for his work and would highly recommend Randall to anyone looking for a talented and easygoing photographer!

Hi, we're The Moon Units! We're known throughout California for our 650+ song list, our authentic on-stage chemistry, and performances that clients have called "better than the original bands" that recorded the songs. The Moon Units made our wedding day truly spectacular! Every single guest says that a highlight of our wedding was the Moon Units. We loved how professional and flexible they were. Each member of the band is beyond talented and phenomenal. You must hire the Moon Units and I promise you will have the best event you’ve ever been to or hosted. The Moon Units performance at cocktail hour was incredible and then their performance for two dance sets was SO MUCH FUN! The bass player will even get on the dance floor and play with you which is just such a highlight! They are so versatile and know just about every song. Incredible. They can also help MC the wedding/event and that went flawlessly! It’s really amazing how they can cater to such a variety of ages/demographic with their music/vibe. Again every conversation we have about our wedding includes some glowing statement about the band. When you hire The Moon Units, you don’t have to worry about the details/setup, they are such experts at what they do. Thank you so much to the Moon Units for being a part of our big day. I could go on and on about how incredible and talented each musician is and how collectively they are just the best team and band. Your event will be phenomenal when you hire The Moon Units!

DJ Trey Money
Rating: 5.0 (28 reviews)
Los Angeles, CA
  • DJ
  • Starts at $1,400
  • Offer

My focus is quality. I take my job seriously and I hope that I can make you happy so that you’ll consider me for your next event, and any event thereafter. Checkout my LinkTree for upcoming events, more reviews, and to visit my instagram. Let's team up and create memories! It is important for me to articulate, that I serve ALL PEOPLE EQUITABLY!! However, I do want to note that I do require that the couple has a Day of Coordinator (not the venue coordinator as they are different). Otherwise, I will also charge for coordination services as that puts the burden of day of logistics on the DJ.

Awarded Best of Zola
Literally from the first interaction, Trey was thoroughly professional. We knew instantly that we'd be in good hands during the process, and he maintained through the big day. With Trey, we always had clarity over next steps, and we also got as much flexibility as we could ever hope for. We had a slightly unusual (or, unconventional) ceremony in a couple of ways, and Trey handled every request without any issue. Lastly, and most importantly for a DJ, he nailed the music. We felt like he "got" us while also filling in the gaps appropriately. A true professional, and we feel fortunate having him on the deck for our celebration.

10/10 Nick and I had the pleasure of working with Lulan and Sarah on our wedding day. They were exactly on time and prepared. They were so attentive, patient, and responsive to us. Never intrusive or demanding. Their direction felt very easy and natural; it made the unnatural process of taking hundreds of photos feel so seamless and easy. I loved that they took advantage of the space and venue. They have such a fantastic eye for composition and scale - my favorites are the wide shots that capture the cityscape behind. Their photos feel so timeless but fitting for the venue. We could not be happier with the results. I could not recommend Lulan and his team more. They were responsive to all of my questions throughout the planning process. Thank you to Lulan and Sarah for capturing our special day and giving us so many memories to cherish!

Brooklyn-raised, LA-based, I specialize in crafting weddings as unique and authentic as your love story. With a passion for the arts and event planning, I create experiences that connect people. I’ve had the honor of planning events across New York, Florida, California, and destinations like Cancun and Grand Cayman. Stacy was an absolute lifesaver for our July 25, 2025 wedding! First let me start by saying, from the moment we met on our Zoom calls, she felt like an old friend—warm, easy to talk to, yet completely professional and organized. On the wedding day, she handled every single detail flawlessly. Any problem that arose was solved before I even had time to worry about it. Stacy is warm, professional, and handles chaos with grace—I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without her! Because of her myself, the groom and our families were truly able to enjoy the day. She brought my vision to life, kept me calm, solved problems instantly, and even made sure my groom and I were always fed with a drink in hand. When the venue coordinator dropped the ball, Stacy completely saved the day. She went above and beyond in every way, and I will forever be grateful for her role in making our wedding the most perfect and stress-free day possible. If you’re lucky enough to book her, you will be in the absolute best hands!!

I’m Mysi (pronounced, boringly, “Missy”)! I’ve been at this thing for 12 years and I keep falling more and more in love with it all. Give me intimate micro-weddings, quirky dive bar weddings, raucous South Asian weddings... my team and I absolutely thrive in chaos and emotion. My specialty is catching the moments and those tiny moments in between. ✨✨✨

Awarded Best of Zola
We were nervous when it came to hiring a photographer, because after the whirlwind of the day, photos are one of the only things you get to keep once the day is over that help you relive the moments. We had heard so many horror stories and knew it was one of the most important decisions we were going to make. But thankfully, hiring Mysi was truly one of the BEST DECISIONS we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was intentional, thoughtful, and so easy to work with. She made it a priority to meet with us in person—not just to talk logistics, but to get a feel for how we interact with each other. She wanted to understand our dynamic so she could best capture authentic, candid moments on the day. That personal touch meant a lot to us. She even took the time to drive up to our venue (a private residence) in advance to scout out the space. Watching her creativity come to life as she walked through the house and surrounding areas was such a fun and reassuring moment—we knew we were in great hands. We didn’t want just traditional posed photos; we wanted a mix of candid, artistic, and emotionally rich shots that told the full story of the day. She completely delivered. The final gallery was more beautiful than we could’ve imagined—natural, warm, and full of moments we didn’t even realize she had caught. We showed a few of the preview photos to people who didn't attend the wedding, and they all had nothing but compliments for how stunning the photos were. It's only been a few months, but we can't stop looking at the photos. They bring us back to the exact moment in time they were taken and we are able to relive the memories. Literally the only negative is that we can't figure out what our favorites are because they are all that great! We’re beyond grateful and couldn’t recommend Mysi more highly. If you want a photographer who truly sees you and puts her heart into every frame, she’s the one.

I cannot recommend Buttrcream Cakes enough! My husband and I went into our tasting literally saying, “I don’t know why people love red velvet cake that much,” and left saying it was the best cake we’ve ever tried — so much so that we chose it as one of our wedding cake flavors. The cake was one of the most important parts of our wedding for me, so I prioritized finding the most delicious cake in LA, and Juries completely delivered. She was so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to bring my vision to life. She even offered creative styling ideas that made the design feel elevated and unique. We ended up with a two-tier lemon cake with vanilla buttercream, lemon curd, and fresh berries, plus a red velvet sheet cake — both were absolute hits. Even guests who don’t like dessert came up to tell me how amazing the cake was! Juries is truly an artist and a joy to work with. If you want a wedding cake that tastes as incredible as it looks, she’s the one!

Jackie was a truly incredible wedding coordinator. We really couldn't believe the value of her services. She understood our vision and executed it perfectly. Throughout our planning process, we had the autonomy we wanted to make decisions, but she would also gently jump in when we were missing a logistical necessity, and then provide us with options for how to proceed. This was invaluable. It was also amazing that we could select "a la carte" additional services for certain needs (e.g. furniture rentals) without having to commit to full-scale planning services. Jackie even ended up coordinating last minute DJ and bartender services for us. We had some custom touches and ideas, and she and her team pulled it all off exactly like we envisioned. Her team was awesome, and she is awesome. Highly recommend!

The photos from our engagement session were fantastic, and we can't wait to see the wedding photos, which we know will be just as excellent. They really know what they are doing and were also open to incorporating our specific preferences. The Marry Me Studio team made sure the entire event was properly captured, and we are confident the final photos and video will beautifully preserve the memories of our special day.

Planning a destination wedding in Cairo, Egypt came with its fair share of complexities. We had guests traveling from all over the world and were trying to blend three cultures - Lebanese, Egyptian, and American. In Egypt, most wedding planners focus only on décor and receptions, so I found myself struggling with the schedule and flow of logistics beyond that. There were so many moving parts - the ceremony, the bridal party, the reception - and I didn’t have a planner or a day-of coordinator to help me execute the day smoothly. Alex stepped in and became my anchor. She gathered every detail and built an hour-by-hour plan that carried us through the day, from getting ready to the end of the night. That included the procession of the church ceremony, the musical cues, the reception entrance order, the dj song list order, etc. She helped me create breakout schedules to give to each vendor so they all knew what part of the day mattered for them to take part in. Alex brought so much understanding and cultural awareness to our wedding. She respected the way that weddings are done in Egypt, Lebanon, and America, and helped me blend certain moments from each tradition into our wedding. Every special moment flowed. I truly couldn’t imagine how the day would have went without her. She gave me peace of mind, comfort, and support that made me feel extremely take care of on the most important day of my life.

The Lucky Devils Band absolutely made our wedding reception! From our initial phone call with Meredith, we knew we were in excellent hands. She took the time to thoroughly understand our vision and musical tastes, making thoughtful suggestions along the way. Communication was prompt, fun, and Meredith was so approachable throughout the planning process. On the big day, the band blew us away with their incredible talent and ability to perfectly execute our song requests, from jazz to oldies to classic rock. As musicians ourselves, we were so impressed by their skill level and experience and professionalism. During cocktail hour, two musicians played jazz, then they switched to rock mode for the reception. They truly made it feel like our own personal concert and kept people on the dance floor for literally 3 hours! The energy was palpable from their very first note, and their song selections kept guests of all ages dancing all night long. They ended the evening with “Purple Rain” by Prince and it made my life. We can't recommend the Lucky Devils Band highly enough - they were total professionals and our biggest splurge, but SO worth it I’d do it a million times over!!
