“I can't recommend this company enough! From my first interaction with Rob to working with Nick on our wedding day, everything was so smooth and professional. I was looking for a non-traditional wedding DJ, someone who wasn't too cheesy or "in your face," and that is exactly what I found with this company. We loved working with Nick M. and had chosen him specifically because he was recommended for the type of music we prefer. He read the room and understood the vibe we were going for and was able to fill in the blanks in our provided playlists perfectly. We got so many compliments from guests regarding how good the music was, which made us really happy. Nick was also very flexible and accommodating as we had a lot of last-minute song choices (night before and day-of). He did everything to make sure we were on the same page with the song choices and song order, especially regarding the grand entrance and first dance songs. My only regret is that I didn't get to talk to Nick more amongst the craziness of the wedding day! I would highly recommend Second Song and Nick M. for all your wedding DJ needs!”

“I am so happy to write a review for Seth and his team! From the very beginning, Seth has been a pleasure to work with. The first meeting I was very impressed by how he had researched the wedding venue and its layout so that he could ask us what our thoughts were on setup/DJ location placement etc. Our second meeting was then focused on how to set up the wedding playlist using the Vibo app. The app is fantastic, and an excellent way to keep track of the songs you wish to have played at certain time points (bridal processional, grand entrance, pre-ceremony, etc.). In the app you can request starting timepoints and leave extra notes for Seth to look over weeks before the wedding. Aside from these aspects, Seth went above and beyond to help us with other non-music related aspects of the wedding such as our wedding slideshow (that he helped give us step by step instructions so that the quality of the slideshow would be good for when it was projected on the wall of venue). He also created a mashup for my husband to dance with his mom ("Dance with me" mixed with "Just Dance"; it was amazing!). Even during the week of the wedding, when I had a mini-freak out, he was so kind and understanding. In the end, I 100% recommend Seth (and Matt too! He was at the Photo Booth, and he was so kind and was ready to help folks if any technical help was needed)! Seth's team is professional, kind, and has great attention to detail; if you can, book DJ Seth and his team for your wedding!”

My wife and I were very particular in choosing our wedding photographer. We knew that our wedding photos were going to last forever and wanted to be sure that the photographer we choose was going to capture all of the essential moments. Every photographer has their own style when it comes to editing the photos and Randall’s was exactly what we were looking for. After we wrapped up our initial consultation call, my wife and I knew that he was the photographer we wanted. He was easy to communicate with and we felt very comfortable with him as if we had know each other for years. He built us a personalized package that accommodated all of our specific needs. Leading up to our special day, he made sure to check in on us multiple times and made sure we never had to worry about a thing. His knowledge and experience as a wedding photographer made us feel like we had another wedding coordinator. He knew all of the ins and outs and was going to be prepared for any unexpected changes that might come his way. On the day of the wedding, him and his staff were able to seamlessly work with our videographer to capture all of the important moments we wanted. They were well organized and had a clear game plan. I cannot stress how important having him was on the day of the wedding. He kept my wife and I at ease and was able to adjust to all of the twist and turns that were thrown at him. He was always looking out for us as a couple and made sure our best interests were held. Everyone involved with our wedding spoke so highly of him and his staff. If we were to choose an MVP of the day, Randall takes the cake. We were so excited when he told us our gallery was ready to view and when our hard drive was available to pickup. He captured every single moment and every time we look through the photos we can relive one of the most important days of our lives. “Can’t overstate what an incredible experience we had with the Oviatt. Not only was the venue perfect for wedding, but the staff truly made the entire planning and day-of experience so smooth and welcoming. The space is gorgeous and one-of-a-kind - we didn’t have to decorate at all, there were so many little spaces and pockets guests to explore and mingle in, all the original art deco decor and furnishings were so cool. We didn’t have to add anything (but could have brought in outside rentals and vendors if we wanted) - the venue rental includes seating for the ceremony and reception, the rooftop lounge was fully furnished was lounge furniture, the terrace is already decorated with bistro lighting, twinkle lights and ivy walls, and there is lounge seating throughout the indoor space. Also included were cocktail tables, easels for signage, tables for our buffet set up. All of these things at other venues we looked at were either additional costs or we’d have to bring in additional vendors to supply. What really made the experience though was the Oviatt staff - Lindsey and Gabe are both so friendly, approachable, welcoming and supportive. Other venues we looked at were all business, had a “take it or leave it” vibe and kind of made us feel like we should be grateful for even to be given the chance to have an event there; Lindsey and Gabe were the exact opposite - they weren’t just trying to rent out a space, they were helping us host our wedding and doing everything they could to make sure our plans were realized. They provided us with so much information beyond what was required of them - they had a whole packet with a suggested timeline for planning, a Planning Pod tool that enabled us to track our vendors and plan out our floorplans and seating charts, lists of vendors we needed to consider and decisions we needed to make. Gabe had an actual meeting with us to discuss what we were looking for in a venue and our wedding, and have is all of this information we even booked the space. Lindsey followed up with us periodically in the months leading up to the wedding to remind us of what we needed to be taking care of and making sure we were on track. Both of them were always generous with their time answering our many questions and being flexible in accommodating our requests. We felt so supported and cared for throughout the entire process, and felt more like we had friends in our corner than like we were coordinating with a vendor. Truly cannot say enough about how wonderful this team is and how appreciative we are. We looked at practically every venue in the downtown/northeast LA area, and this one not only blew away the competition in what they offered, but it was also the most affordable option! It’s really like having the efficiency of an all-inclusive venue without the restrictions. And of course all of our guests loved it - we are still getting comments on how unique and beautiful the space was, and how much everyone enjoyed having so many different spaces to explore and congregate throughout the evening. Best decision we could have made.”

“I can’t stress the amount of compliments we received about the talent and just overall vibe. They were a major highlight for every single guest. They are a truly talented group of individual artists and performers, who seamlessly come together collectively to put on an amazing show. But more importantly, they could not have been any more lovely as humans. They really made a magical weekend that much more magical, and we cannot say enough positive things. The team worked back and forth on the setlist and specific sound queues throughout the event. We likely weren’t the easiest to work with because of how specific our vision was for those individual moments throughout the run of show and the team really killed it when it was time for the event! I don’t know when we’ll ever host a party like this again, (though we won’t look any further than Dart) but we will certainly shout our referrals from the rooftops if any of our friends, families or coworkers are ever planning an event.”

“This review is overdue! Jackie went above and beyond as our day-of-coordinator. We threw a backyard wedding in Oct 2025 and did the majority of the planning ourselves, but needed someone to guide us in the final stretch and to be the logistics point-person for day-of. She was that and way more. She met with us in person and via zoom multiple times in the months leading up to the wedding, and was available by text and email when we needed some extra guidance. She always had a fantastic attitude, great advice for our planning, and was well-organized. On the day-of, she was critical to the smooth operation of our wedding, doing everything from managing our entire timeline and all our vendors, to receiving our cake that was delivered during cocktail hour, to releasing our guests to the buffet in a very specific order I wanted (vegetarians first, so they got the limited veg meals!). I love this shot of her in our photo booth! Would definitely recommend Jackie for day-of coordinating, although with the level of engagement and organization she has, I'm sure her full planning services are excellent too.”

We had heard so many horror stories and knew it was one of the most important decisions we were going to make. But thankfully, hiring Mysi was truly one of the BEST DECISIONS we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was intentional, thoughtful, and so easy to work with. She made it a priority to meet with us in person—not just to talk logistics, but to get a feel for how we interact with each other. She even took the time to drive up to our venue (a private residence) in advance to scout out the space. We didn’t want just traditional posed photos; we wanted a mix of candid, artistic, and emotionally rich shots that told the full story of the day. She completely delivered. We showed a few of the preview photos to people who didn't attend the wedding, and they all had nothing but compliments for how stunning the photos were. “Zara was highly recommended to me by a wedding planner friend, when I was looking for someone to come do some art capture and branding photos, at a mural I painted. Zara was lovely, and worked to craft exactly the package I needed. “Planning a destination wedding in Cairo, Egypt came with its fair share of complexities. We had guests traveling from all over the world and were trying to blend three cultures - Lebanese, Egyptian, and American. In Egypt, most wedding planners focus only on décor and receptions, so I found myself struggling with the schedule and flow of logistics beyond that. There were so many moving parts - the ceremony, the bridal party, the reception - and I didn’t have a planner or a day-of coordinator to help me execute the day smoothly. Alex stepped in and became my anchor. She gathered every detail and built an hour-by-hour plan that carried us through the day, from getting ready to the end of the night. That included the procession of the church ceremony, the musical cues, the reception entrance order, the dj song list order, etc. She helped me create breakout schedules to give to each vendor so they all knew what part of the day mattered for them to take part in. Alex brought so much understanding and cultural awareness to our wedding. She respected the way that weddings are done in Egypt, Lebanon, and America, and helped me blend certain moments from each tradition into our wedding. Every special moment flowed. I truly couldn’t imagine how the day would have went without her. She gave me peace of mind, comfort, and support that made me feel extremely take care of on the most important day of my life.”
