Hiring Tavi was easily the best thing we could have done for ourselves when we started wedding planning. We really had no idea what we were doing, I was super anxious about everything, and Tavi guided us through it all with grace, expertise, and humor. She helped us figure out what we actually wanted our wedding to look like (a rainbow fruit and vegetable disco party), what was important to us, our budget, our vendors, and most importantly, she kept me from losing my mind (which, let's be honest, is probably the biggest reason you hire a wedding planner, right?). She put together an amazing vendor team that brought our vision to life even more than we could have hoped for. After the wedding, we got so many compliments about how great it was, and how it was the best wedding they'd been to, no exaggeration. You can see it in our photos--everyone had a blast, and we loved every second of it. Our parents were so impressed by how Tavi and her assistant handled everything on the day of--and she'd also had a wedding the day before, so that's saying something. She was always on her A-game, always responsive, and we would hire her again in a heartbeat. And you should hire her too!

It wouldn’t be LA if our venue wasn’t in a strip mall! The space is in the historic Cahuenga pass, with our venue located less than 5 minutes from Universal Studios, City Walk and the Hollywood Bowl. Our Venue is a 3500 square foot space, complete with a 2500 square foot ballroom, commercial kitchen, bar, stage, and lighting/ sound systems that are equipped for live music. The venue has highly stylized areas, but the main ballroom is an open concept space that can be molded for anything from rehearsal dinners to cocktail hours and receptions.

I attended a wedding reception here, and I cannot say enough good things about Little Light Venue. The venue is beautifully designed and has so much character. The space itself is huge and adaptable, so it’s great for different types of events. The owners Nataly and Jessica are amazing hosts and really go above and beyond to make things run perfectly. There is truly no other place like it, and I’ve already recommended the space to multiple people.

I have been a hairstylist and makeup artist for 20 years, based up and down the West Coast - currently based in Los Angeles. Coming from a family of hair stylists, I was born into it and the constant strive to be the best has been there from the start. I’m sure most stylists say this but I genuinely mean it when I say I LOVE my job. I have such a passion for hairstyling, and specifically for bridal/wedding bookings. My brides and wedding party’s are always my favorite experiences.

I’ve been going to Megan Titus for my haircut and color for years, so naturally when my husband and I started planning our wedding, she was the obvious choice to style our hair and my makeup for the big day. In the months leading up to the event we talked about what I was looking for and she guided me on how to best prep my hair so it would be the perfect for the length and color I wanted. The day of, Megan did an amazing job. She put me at ease while she worked and the result was gorgeous. As a person who doesn’t typically wear a lot of makeup, Megan still was captured what I wanted, a beautiful classic look which made all my features pop, but without making me look like I was wearing too much makeup. My hair was just incredible too. She gave me a deep rich purple to match our wedding colors and soft waves. She even incorporated the blusher and the small clip on hat that went with our New Orleans theme. I looked classic and elegant, but with a splash of edge. EXACTLY what I was going for. Do yourself a favor and hire Megan! She’s not only extremely talented, but a lovely person and a joy to work with.

Our overarching style is very natural, loose, free-flowing, asymmetrical and lush with an emphasis on greenery and textures – we would describe it as a ‘refined wildness’! We place the utmost importance on using seasonal and locally sourced materials, and sustainable methods of designing, wherever possible.

Kate is incredibly talented, so kind, easy to work with, and not pushy with anything. What I appreciated the most was that when I answered her questions regarding what I was envisioning, she had picked out the flowers she was thinking (including design) when we met and it was more spot on that I could have imagined. I really don't like vendors who are super pushy, and Kate was nothing like that. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease with what I wanted. She is so talented in what she does and she was so kind that I immediately trusted her and booked her right away. On the day of, the flowers were so beautiful. When I entered the wedding venue, I was blown away. It was even more beautiful than I could have imagined - and I'm not even sugarcoating it. The wedding venue owner, my guests, and other vendors all raved about the flowers and absolutely loved what Kate did. I absolutely loved my bouquet (I hung it to dry and still have it with me). When I was first planning my wedding, I thought that I wouldn't need flowers because I was planning to go super minimal. But, honestly, I'm so glad I decided to get flowers. Kate was just so accommodating to my budget and vision. After one meeting, I completely trusted her and was absolutely taken by how beautiful she made our wedding look. After the wedding, my friends and colleagues raved so much about the flowers. And, the wedding photos came out so beautiful because of Kate! Please do not even hesitate contacting Kate to at least see what she has to offer. You will not regret it. Thank you, Kate! You really made our wedding day absolutely unforgettable. I still remember the feeling of walking into the venue and seeing the beautiful arrangements along the aisle/arch and I started to tear up. Thank you for making our special day so memorable.

From the start, Seth’s professionalism and easy-going nature made the planning process stress-free. His use of the Vibo app was such a game-changer—it allowed us to easily upload our song selections and ceremony/reception timeline details, making communication and organization effortless. We gave Seth just a handful of songs to set the vibe, and he curated an incredible playlist that perfectly matched the energy we wanted. I couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup experience! I loved that Tiffany did both hair and makeup and that I didn’t need to book 2 different people. She listened to what I wanted and made quick changes when I changed my mind last minute. Everything lasted all day and looked flawless in photos, I didn’t need any touch ups at all throughout the entire night (I even wore my wedding hair 2 days later). I have never felt more beautiful. Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. We can’t say enough amazing things about Randall. Even though this review is long overdue, the experience he gave us has stayed with us every step of the way. We booked Randall over a year in advance, and from the very beginning, he made us feel confident and excited about our decision. Our engagement shoot was phenomenal he made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, and the photos came out better than we could have ever imagined. Leading up to our wedding in August 2025, Randall was professional, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented. He made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. James was so much fun at our wedding! He was a great MC/DJ and was a hit with all of our wedding guests. He communicated with us throughout the wedding process and kept in touch with both me and my wedding coordinator whenever we came across any details we needed to discuss. We are still floating after our wedding at The Oviatt. This venue is an absolute hidden gem — our guests couldn’t believe that such a stunning Art Deco jewel was sitting right in the middle of downtown LA. The space is so gorgeous on its own that we barely had to bring in any florals, which not only saved us a ton of money but let the venue’s incredible character really shine. Gabe, Lindsay, and the entire team were phenomenal to work with. We asked a lot of questions throughout the process, and they were patient, responsive, and supportive every step of the way. On the day of, every staff member helped ensure everything ran smoothly, letting us just relax and enjoy all the moments that mattered. Jonathan and Faulks Floral Co are seriously heaven sent. Jon is SO talented. Faulks was recommended by a personal friend. I love the call & consultation for the inspo look of the wedding. He really listens and considers your dream vision. After the consultation, he provides the type of florals and the inspo look altogether, which is SO helpful. I wanted spring, pops of color. I also desired to include my love for the ocean into my wedding. How do you combine all those elements to a ranch wedding? A rustic coastal wedding! Touches of beautiful driftwood with floral for the reception tables, my cascading bouquet, my arch, EVERYTHING with all the details are extroadinary. It was my dream come true. I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! When I say that Dylan and the Moon Units MADE our wedding, I am not exaggerating. They not only delivered, the exceeded our already high expectations in every way possible. Music was extremely important for my husband and me, and we knew immediately that we wanted a live band to elevate the evening. We found Dylan and the Moon Units' information online, and after finding that they were very within our budget we reached out and Dylan invited us to one of their gigs in Hollywood. We loved their vibe and booked them. We asked Dylan to play both our ceremony and our reception, as well as play preset playlists for our pre-ceremony and cocktail hour. Now, I must admit, because music was so important for my husband and my special day, we had *very* specific ideas for what we wanted. Dylan was extremely communicative, answering all of my extremely needy and detailed emails in a timely manner and doing everything he could to reassure me that we were in good hands. We made selections from the list of songs they knew, and also asked them to learn about 10 new songs for us, ranging from unique arrangements of existing songs to deep cuts from 90's movies. Dylan's communication was warm, expeditious, and professional, and I felt really well taken care of. At our wedding, though, is where they exceeded our expectations. The live music they played was amazing, and set the tone for our wedding in the exact way we were hoping for. At the reception, they kept the energy up with a perfectly curated playlist of our requests (and we had quite a lot!) songs they knew would keep the party going. Their song choices appealed to the older crowd as well as the Millennial crowd. Dylan even help me set up a surprise performance for my husband, where I sang one of this favorite songs ("Go Cubs Go") with the backing of the Moon Units band. It was an incredibly special moment. And creating special moments was what Dylan and the Moon Units did best. Somehow, they managed to keep the dance floor packed the entire evening. Months after our wedding, our guests have continuously called out Dylan and the Moon Units as an absolute highlight of our wedding, saying that it was musically one of the best weddings they have ever been to. All-in-all, I cannot recommend Dylan and the Moon Units enough. As someone who was VERY specific about the music at my wedding, they exceeded all of our expectations. Book them for your wedding ASAP - you will not be disappointed.

We booked Ingrid and her team for the Final Month Planning / Day-Of Coordination for our wedding. Thank goodness we did! The process of working with Grand Entrance Affairs was excellent, at a reasonable price point, and it resulted in an absolutely perfect day. :) From the time Ingrid started working with us, she took a load off of our shoulders and we felt well taken care of. We are the type who like to be in control and plan everything ourselves, but we're so grateful that Ingrid brought her years of experience to ask us all the right questions and help us plan out the day-of timeline because we would have definitely gotten it wrong on our own. If there were any obstacles or things that went wrong on the wedding day, we were completely oblivious to it because her team handled it all without worrying us.
