When we were planning for our wedding almost a year ago, it was so important to find a photographer we loved and were able to completely trust. We immediately knew after our initial phone conversation with Tyler that we didn’t need to look any further. Tyler isn’t just a photographer...she does SO MUCH more. Our wedding venue ended up canceling on us midway through this year. I was devastated but Tyler was there every step of the way and ALWAYS accommodating. She answered texts and was always available...even if it was asking for advice on bridesmaids dress colors. We ended up deciding to elope with family in an intimate beach setting. Tyler helped pick a venue and led the entire step of the way. I never felt like I was just another bride to Tyler. My grandparents who weren’t able to attend got to relive the day through our photos which is something I’ll cherish forever. We look at our photos almost daily and stare at them in awe...nonetheless, Tyler gave us a sneak peek in about 24hrs!!! If you want someone you can trust and rely on and know someone who can take all you milestone photos moving further...look know further. Tyler is simply the best.

Such a special touch. Our DJ, Cale, absolutely nailed it. Our friends were on the dance floor the entire night, the songs were spot on what we wanted and his communication with us prior to and during the wedding made us feel so confident and comfortable. Second song as a whole was SO easy to work with, organized and timely, we didn’t run into any hiccups with musicians, equipment, lighting, the Photo Booth - everything was perfect!!!

I am so happy to write a review for Seth and his team! From the very beginning, Seth has been a pleasure to work with. The first meeting I was very impressed by how he had researched the wedding venue and its layout so that he could ask us what our thoughts were on setup/DJ location placement etc. Our second meeting was then focused on how to set up the wedding playlist using the Vibo app. The app is fantastic, and an excellent way to keep track of the songs you wish to have played at certain time points (bridal processional, grand entrance, pre-ceremony, etc.). In the app you can request starting timepoints and leave extra notes for Seth to look over weeks before the wedding. Aside from these aspects, Seth went above and beyond to help us with other non-music related aspects of the wedding such as our wedding slideshow (that he helped give us step by step instructions so that the quality of the slideshow would be good for when it was projected on the wall of venue). He also created a mashup for my husband to dance with his mom ("Dance with me" mixed with "Just Dance"; it was amazing!). Even during the week of the wedding, when I had a mini-freak out, he was so kind and understanding. In the end, I 100% recommend Seth (and Matt too! He was at the Photo Booth, and he was so kind and was ready to help folks if any technical help was needed)! Seth's team is professional, kind, and has great attention to detail; if you can, book DJ Seth and his team for your wedding!

We are so grateful to have had Randall as our photographer for both our engagement and wedding day. From start to finish, he was a dream to work with professional, warm, and so thoughtful in his approach. For our engagement session, we wanted to recreate the Japan vibes since we got engaged there, but we weren’t sure how Little Tokyo in Downtown LA would translate in photos. Randall completely exceeded our expectations. Between the Venice Canals and Little Tokyo, he perfectly captured the aesthetic we were hoping for, and the final shots were stunning. James was so much fun at our wedding! He was a great MC/DJ and was a hit with all of our wedding guests. I can’t begin to express how thankful we are to have chosen the Oviatt as our wedding venue. They truly are a dreamy space filled with historic charm that creates a one of a kind guest experience. Beyond its beautiful space what makes this venue better than any other is the staff. Gabe, Lindsey, and Cami are extremely personable, knowledgeable, and take above and beyond to the next level. They consistently went out of their way to make sure everything we wanted was possible and that the day would be flawless. They are not the type of venue where you’re just a client to them, they really work with every event and every person as if you were the only event they were handling. We, unfortunately, had to switch our caterer 2 weeks before our wedding and The Oviatt Team immediately jumped in to help us find other caterers and make sure what we had originally asked for was still possible no matter what. This was beyond kind and helpful and totally unexpected. The Oviatts charm and stunning spaces feels like enough reason to book this venue however it's that staff that will make your wedding or event a once in a lifetime experience.

I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! It was truly the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without McKenna’s help! I have nothing but positive things to say about this group of young men! They were so professional, prompt, polite and the work product was perfect. We booked them on a 2-day project - both video and photos- that needed a 24-hour turnaround for Day 1. Not only did they meet these deadlines, they went above and beyond in terms of the final work product. I will definitely hire them again for future life events and I'm so glad I found them.
