Such a wonderful, lovely, and creative woman! I informed her right after my wedding date was set (which was only 9 months before my wedding). I requested to match my theme color (sky blue) and hydrangeas with roses, which turned out to be PERFECT! Since I live abroad (not in the US) I wasn’t able to personally talk to her and arrange flowers but she was so patient with me. She waited for my emails and sent me pictures and ideas. I am super indecisive and she helped me a lot with giving me ideas! She did an amaaaazing job! I loved the sweetheart table flowers, bridesmaid bouquet, the boutonnières, and everything! The wedding wouldn’t have been perfect without her beautiful work and wish the best for her future! Definitely will ask her when I need flowers! Thank you so much!

I had the pleasure of hiring Hillary, of Elizabeth Grace Floral for my April 2023 wedding. When I first started looking for florists in the Los Angeles/Orange County area, I had a hard time connecting. It seemed that no matter how clearly I outlined what I DIDN’T want, that was all other florists came back to me with in their proposals. No one seemed to get what I was saying or describing. Imagine my relief when I not only instantly connected with Hillary, but she GOT what I was saying. Hillary immediately picked up what I was looking for, and her initial proposal was perfect with the exception of aisle florals which was because I hadn’t decided on anything. I feel like Hillary really got to know me, that she put in the time and effort to really capture what I was looking for, and recommended options. About five months out I told Hillary we did need floral aisles, but I couldn’t find anything I liked. She hit the ground running with options and ideas, finding the perfect solution. When the day of my wedding came, I couldn’t WAIT to see everything come together. I burst into tears when I saw my bouquet, my bridesmaid’s bouquets, and the boutonnieres for the guys. Everything was so perfect, so much better than I could have imagined, asked for, or provided examples for. Hillary went above and beyond in terms of delivering true perfection. When I walked down the aisle I was overwhelmed again with love and gratitude for what she did with the aisle florals and the structure at the end of the aisle. I was blown away. I truly thought it couldn’t be topped – boy was I wrong. When I saw what she did for our cocktail hour area, and then our reception, but especially our sweetheart table, all I could do was cry. I felt so loved, so supported, so important, and so valued. All because of how hard Hillary worked for my day. I had many guests comment on the beautiful florals, the delicate lavender at each place setting, how stunning everything was. Many people also told me how fresh and perfect each item in each arrangement looked – there wasn’t a single old, damaged, or disfigured flower or piece of greenery. Each element was literally perfect. Hillary is punctual, great with communication, quick, and responsive. Her kindness and dedication really makes you feel as if you have a friend, not just a vendor. I cannot recommend Hillary enough, especially if you are someone who is looking for florals that are something different from the typical California look. Hillary delivers and then some. I hope that I have another opportunity to have her skills, talent, and dedication grace another event I’m involved with.

I am so happy to write a review for Seth and his team! From the very beginning, Seth has been a pleasure to work with. The first meeting I was very impressed by how he had researched the wedding venue and its layout so that he could ask us what our thoughts were on setup/DJ location placement etc. Our second meeting was then focused on how to set up the wedding playlist using the Vibo app. The app is fantastic, and an excellent way to keep track of the songs you wish to have played at certain time points (bridal processional, grand entrance, pre-ceremony, etc.). In the app you can request starting timepoints and leave extra notes for Seth to look over weeks before the wedding. Aside from these aspects, Seth went above and beyond to help us with other non-music related aspects of the wedding such as our wedding slideshow (that he helped give us step by step instructions so that the quality of the slideshow would be good for when it was projected on the wall of venue). He also created a mashup for my husband to dance with his mom ("Dance with me" mixed with "Just Dance"; it was amazing!). Even during the week of the wedding, when I had a mini-freak out, he was so kind and understanding. In the end, I 100% recommend Seth (and Matt too! He was at the Photo Booth, and he was so kind and was ready to help folks if any technical help was needed)! Seth's team is professional, kind, and has great attention to detail; if you can, book DJ Seth and his team for your wedding!

I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. My partner and I’s venue search ended the second we ascended in the historical elevator to the penthouse of the James Oviatt Building. The Oviatt venue is a multifaceted piece of beautiful Art Deco history that lends itself well to whatever event you are trying to throw. In our case, they hosted our wedding. We will forever be grateful for their immense care and kindness leading up to, on, and after the big day. We met the President Gabe first, who had his own wedding at this venue before he managed it. He made us feel right at home and answered every question we could muster. Our one hour showing turned into a two and a half hour conversation where his care and passion for the venue and his clients became very clear. We felt a connection right away. He shared a wealth of great advise and reassurances and gave us an impeccable pool of preferred vendors. We were sold in minutes. Every event is different, but my partner and I did not feel the space needed any help to become beautiful. The architectural art of the space is breathtaking and unique from the valet area outside of the Cicada Club all the way to the terrace. We saved a fortune on a florist. Who needs one when everything is already so classy? Speaking of class, the Director of Events Lindsey took point on execution and was our resource during the planning process. I as an individual am not the most communicative. I needed someone with that attention to detail and she delivered. After giving her all the venue required specifications (seating chart, insurances, etc,) two conversations was all it took for her to equip the venue with everything it needed and make it gorgeous. It seemed effortless for her. Not a spec of dust or dirt to be seen and the staff was respectful, efficient, and welcoming. I had a panic attack because I forgot to ask them for valet and she was able to get her people on it without issue the same week as the wedding. (Don’t be like me, but that is a perfect example of how on top of it they are.) They had EVERYTHING we could have wanted for a downtown metropolitan wedding and then some. If they didn’t have it? They knew exactly where to refer you. One of my personal favorite features was their completely customizable LED lighting strips on the hedges that lined either side of the rooftop. We had them a bright warm light for dinner and then a cycle of rainbow colors for dancing. They are inclusive and welcoming to any and all who come to visit. We felt valued, respected, and well cared for. It truly was the best day of our lives and we owe it all to The Oviatt. I implore to to reach out to them. I can say with certainty that you won’t be disappointed and whatever it is you are planning will become a memorable experience unlike any other.

Hiring Tavi was easily the best thing we could have done for ourselves when we started wedding planning. We really had no idea what we were doing, I was super anxious about everything, and Tavi guided us through it all with grace, expertise, and humor. She helped us figure out what we actually wanted our wedding to look like (a rainbow fruit and vegetable disco party), what was important to us, our budget, our vendors, and most importantly, she kept me from losing my mind (which, let's be honest, is probably the biggest reason you hire a wedding planner, right?). She put together an amazing vendor team that brought our vision to life even more than we could have hoped for. After the wedding, we got so many compliments about how great it was, and how it was the best wedding they'd been to, no exaggeration. You can see it in our photos--everyone had a blast, and we loved every second of it. Our parents were so impressed by how Tavi and her assistant handled everything on the day of--and she'd also had a wedding the day before, so that's saying something. She was always on her A-game, always responsive, and we would hire her again in a heartbeat. And you should hire her too!

Literally from the first interaction, Trey was thoroughly professional. We knew instantly that we'd be in good hands during the process, and he maintained through the big day. With Trey, we always had clarity over next steps, and we also got as much flexibility as we could ever hope for. We had a slightly unusual (or, unconventional) ceremony in a couple of ways, and Trey handled every request without any issue. Lastly, and most importantly for a DJ, he nailed the music. We felt like he "got" us while also filling in the gaps appropriately. A true professional, and we feel fortunate having him on the deck for our celebration.

I truly can’t say enough amazing things about Carissa and her team at Positively Charming Weddings. She was the very first vendor I hired for my wedding, a year and a half in advance. Within the first 2 minutes of chatting with Carissa the first time, I knew we were the perfect match. She is incredibly organized, compassionate, an amazing listener, and isn’t afraid to take the lead and make decisions when necessary. She is thoughtful, calm, has a wealth of wedding industry knowledge and was able to provide personalized suggestions based on my preferences at every turn. To be honest, I was originally super nervous and anxious to hire a wedding planner, as I am a very type A person because of my job as a programs and event planner. But Carissa exceeded all expectations and truly was able to allow me to relax and enjoy my wedding weekend without a worry in the world. She was a problem solver every step of the way. For example, she offered to manually fixed my seating chart the day before the wedding and found a print shop willingly to print very specific last minute signage (both things that were my fault that they were delayed/wrong). She kept not only me, but my husband and both families on track leading up to the wedding, provided monthly checklists, was available via phone and email for my questions, and even provided bridal party itineraries the weekend of. Her and her team were incredibly easy to work with, and our other vendors and bridal party members said the exact same thing. She can work with anyone, with any personality type, and makes you feel important and heard. If you want someone to go above and beyond for you, look no further! She will make your day everything YOU want it to be. Couldn’t recommend her and her team more…I walked away with a new friend!

My husband and I knew it would be an important task hiring a photo/videographer for our wedding. There’s SO many options and styles out there that it’s also daunting to commit to one. We found Cruzio Studios on The Knot and we are incredibly grateful we did. We were drawn to their journalistic style of capturing love between partners: intimate, natural (doesn’t look too posed), synergizes with the location, delicate, and sweet. After having phone calls with other vendors, we were most excited to work with Cruzio. Not only do they have an amazing portfolio (easily accessible on their beautiful website), but they have great packages to offer their clients. Our package came with an engagement shoot and the results were mind-blowing. I know that sounds hyperbolic, but my partner & I don’t show a lot of PDA and the Cruzio team captured our love so sweetly. When we got the photos and video short, we kept on saying, “That’s us!!” Given their portfolio, we trusted their expertise and artistic eye. Not only were they kind while providing clear directions and great ideas, but they’ll do their best to get the optimal shot. They’re immensely generous with their talents considering all the thought and detail they put into their product. Also, they’re really easy to talk to. We felt like we were just hanging out with friends who are very talented photo/videographers! Cruzio Studios definitely did not disappoint on our wedding day. I’m definitely a planner, so I had a list of group photos we wanted for our wedding day. The Cruzio team had that list with them and ensured we got the shots. They are so professional and stuck to our wedding day timeline with such grace. And although our venue spaces weren’t the biggest, they adapted. To that, my husband & I never felt like they were ever in the way or super noticeable. And, of course, their final products are amazing. They captured the excitement leading up our first look & ceremony and joyous celebration during the reception. Also, the romantics are simply so pretty and caught our love perfectly. It’s so lovely to look back at our special day through their talents and lenses. We consider ourselves fortunate to have had them in our wedding dream team. Fun, friendly, and professional, Aladdin Films' crew performed so well on our wedding day. It was so easy to work with them, it's unbelievable, we did not worry about the videos and photos at the wedding at all. Oh my goodness, Michelle and her entire team were absolutely the best! Michelle is such an absolute pleasure to work with and made everything so easy. Design meetings were so fun and she asked great questions and really understood what were looking for, even when we could not fully articulate it at first. She pulled up helpful example photos live and really crafted the most beautiful artistic vision. In our final design meeting, she created real example arrangements so we could see how things would look in terms of volume and with the different vase options, which was so helpful. She has a fantastic stock of different styles of vases and candles/candle holders, and it was easy to pick something beautiful. We also appreciated her design insight on candles and were really happy with the candles and arrangements we selected. We originally planned on getting married outdoors and attaching flowers to a gazebo, but it rained day-of, and Michelle gets absolute bonus points for rearranging plans at the last moment! She went to see the indoor arch option that was already available at the venue and understood we wouldn't like it, and she went out of her way to rent a beautiful arch that meshed with our artistic vision - and we LOVED it! The ceremony floral artistry was unique and so beautiful and we were so happy with how it turned out. Michelle and her team were so kind and caring and easy to work with day-of as well, we were so appreciative and happy to have them there. The personal items were beyond incredible! I loved my bouquet so much and wish I could have kept it forever, it was everything I had dreamed of and more! My husband chose the full lapel boutonniere and it turned out fantastic and looked so good! He thought it was beautiful, cool, and different, and provided visual interest. We also appreciated Michelle's attention to detail with the designs and their sizes; I am a petite woman and she crafted a bouquet that was the perfect size and not overwhelming. Closer to the wedding, tariffs were introduced, and we really appreciated Michelle's transparency and up-front communication about the different options. She provided a high degree of flexibility depending on comfort level, and it made a potentially stressful situation much easier. We were really happy with the choices she provided us. All in all, we are SO happy we chose Something's Blooming! Our guests continue to rave about the gorgeous floral designs and we are over the moon with how they turned out. Thank you so much Michelle!

Lulan created our pre-wedding ceremony photos at Caesar's Palace and the Botanical Garden at the Bellagio. Lulan outdid himself on this day in 103-degree weather. He made me look like a 1960's Chanel model. He created whimsical photo moments and good lighting balance. Highly recommend Lulan. Wish I could relive the moment all over again.

Sandy and Myra did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup, but also for my bridesmaids and mother/mother-in-law. For my hair Myra did a great job putting extensions in and she also made our 83 year-old grandma look stunning. They were on time, travelled from LA to Las Vegas, they were fun and professional at the same time. Sandy’s makeup looked great and she was able to create the look I was going for on the first try. My main goal was for me and and my bridesmaids/family to all feel beautiful on my wedding day and she exceeded my expectations.
