I’m Mary, California film wedding photographer. I fell in love with documenting weddings in 2018 and have a deep appreciation for the privilege of capturing one of the most profound moments in peoples’ lives. I'm here to witness your day with love and artistry, and preserve your memories in a way that’s honest, emotive, and true to you.

I approach each wedding with the eyes of an artist and the heart of a storyteller. Moments and details are thoughtfully captured using light, texture, color, and form. Every image is treated as a meaningful thread in the tapestry of your memory. Through an observational approach and gentle guidance when appropriate, we’ll capture your day as it organically unfolds, turning your experiences into visual keepsakes that feel both true to you and beautifully composed. All weddings are captured on a mix of digital, 35mm, and 120 film.

The ABSOLUTE BEST!
It’s been a couple of months since our wedding, and we still beam every time we look at the photos Mary took. Her attention to detail, marriage of her ow artistry with our vision, and her calming & kind energy the day of the wedding was more than we could’ve asked for. We are SO grateful we got to work with Mary and would highly recommend her to anyone that’s looking to create a beautiful, unique memorabilia they and their loved ones will beam over time and time again.

Captured our essence perfectly!
Mary was so incredible to work with! We worked with Mary for our engagement photos and wedding day. Mary got to know my husband and I and captured photos that really felt like us. Neither of us naturally love being in front of the camera and Mary worked to bring us out of our shell. We couldn’t be happier with the way our engagement photos turned out and wedding sneak peaks!

A Photographer Every Planner Loves to Work With!
I’ve had the privilege of working with Mary on multiple weddings, and every time has been such a great experience. Her work is absolutely beautiful. She captures weddings with a timeless eye and such genuine emotion. As a planner, I always want to collaborate with vendors who are not only amazing at their craft, but also amazing to work with and Mary is exactly that. Exceptionally-skilled at capturing moments
As a wedding coordinator, I have worked with Mary from Wrenn Photography twice just this year, and it has been a delightful experience. She is so professional and sets the couples’ minds at ease on what is both the best and most stressful day of their lives. She is always on top of the shot list and aware of her surroundings: incredibly considerate during ceremonies to not interrupt the service while still getting the shot. Her photos from weddings we worked on together are some of the most beautiful in our portfolio. I certainly hope to work with her very soon again. As a wedding coordinator, my primary job is to manage vendors, so working with a truly professional photographer is such a burden lifted off of my shoulders. I also remind my couples that their photographer is their most important vendor as their photographs will be the biggest reminder of their wedding day for years to come. Also, the work of a wedding photographer does not end on the wedding day: many of the hard hours of work come afterward with processing and editing photos. So you definitely want to find an incredible wedding photographer. I have shown other members of my team photos from her previous weddings to demonstrate exceptional wedding photography. If you have a chance to work with Wrenn Photography, I definitely would!

OMG—where do I even begin?! Mary is truly incredible. The sneak peek alone had us in tears (happy ones!). It was better than anything I could have imagined. She captured every emotion, every little detail, and the overall vibe of our wedding perfectly. My husband and I were absolutely glowing looking through them—we felt the joy from that day all over again. She used both film and digital photographer to capture the magic! Not only is she insanely talented behind the lens, but she’s also the sweetest human ever. It’s so clear how much love she puts into her work.
