I’m a modern and journalistic photographer who specializes in capturing candid, spontaneous moments in a natural and unobtrusive way. It is characterized by its emphasis on storytelling and the use of a documentary style of photography. modern and journalistic photography emphasizes authenticity, storytelling, and capturing the unique personality and emotions of the subject. By using a natural and unobtrusive approach, I create a more personal and intimate representation of their subject.

We aim to capture not only the key moments, but the emotion and energy that was present – so that our imagery may transport you, long after the day. We work hard to be as unobtrusive as possible so that you are not even aware of us and our cameras. This style of shooting creates a relaxed, natural and a more authentic, beautifully photographic result.

    My husband and I had a wonderful overall experience with Bryan at White August Photography. From the initial phone call to the day we picked up our finalized wedding photos, he was nothing but professional! I was, at first, hesitant about deciding to go with White August for our engagement and wedding day photos, but after meeting Bryan at his office and seeing his works as well as photo packages, we knew he was the right one. We took our engagement photos a few months beforehand... the weekend after the Fourth of July. Even in the hot summer weather, Bryan helped us stay relaxed and stayed open about all suggestions or concerns. Thus, our engagement photos turned out beautifully! I have received so many compliments about our photos and many of my older friends who have babies/ will soon be married are asking about who took our photos because they want to hire Bryan for their events. He is definitely willing to work with any suggestions because he let us do the initial styling and choosing of engagement session sites. When we were stuck, he stepped in and gave us advice from his experiences. I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and fun engagement photo session. On the wedding day, he came with an extra photographer to help shoot different angles throughout the ceremony and reception. Bryan also worked well with our other vendors and helpers, so that definitely was a huge plus for a stressed-out bride! Oh, and his timing is great! We received samples of our engagement photos incredibly fast, and we were able to send out save-the-date cards! Also, our wedding day photos were ready in a month with quality work :) I know I will be going to Bryan of White August for my future events and will refer him to friends and family!

    Bryan took our wedding photos back in June. In addition to all the great reviews already here, I want to rave about his artistry and genuine personality. He was sensitive to my needs and my Korean-speaking family and relatives. This is apparent in the way he communicates and addresses everyone (So important!) He walked me through the entire event and sweetly reminded me when it was photo-time and time to meet the guests and so forth (I didn't really have an idea what I was supposed to do.) He also told me when my lipstick needed retouching when no-one else did! He also took charge when the videographer I hired ran out of ideas for poses. He stayed until the end to capture our moments. The photos came out beautifully. He is a gem.

    We were really loved Bryan's works. We had fun and easy engagement session and wedding day with him. He did absolutely lovely job. We really appreciate the high level of service that we received. He prepared a lot which i really loved. can't believe that a man can understands bride's mind!!! This place is so unique so I don't worry about recommend Bryan to my friends and family members taking same session with them. because he knows his customers very well and he gives different but the perfect concept and themes to his customers. One of my friend is already had meeting with him for her upcoming wedding and I am so glad I found right place for myself and for her. It was such an amazing time for both of us. My husband loved and enjoyed taking pictures. I really liked his detail retouch.. (Bryan! You have gifts of special retouch!!)I strongly recommend to all of my friends!!! hope to see u soon for my friend wedding :)
