We used Elite Catering for a party that we were throwing for about 60 guests. The food arrived hot, and ready to serve. The service we received from Elite Catering was amazing, owner was very communicative and responsive. Easy to work with. Food was delicious, all guests loved the food. We had the empanadas, sliders, chicken skewers, parmesan meatballs. Definitely recommend! 5 stars.

Wow! All I can really say about working with Maria Jose at Lovelia Floral is just wow! I've known Maria Jose for years, so when I had a couple still in need of a florist she was the first person I reached out to. Let me tell you, I've always known that she is attentive and detail oriented, and really likes to make sure that her clients have the full vision, but I was still blown away by the night and day difference between her and other florists I talked to. She didn't just ask for table count, centerpiece type, and color palette like so many others, she actually took the time to understand what was important to the couple and their wedding day. This couple was getting married in Camarillo, where the brides family has lived and worked for generations. Meanwhile, the grooms family is full of botanists and park rangers. This meant that it was super important to them that the flowers be from local farmers and be in-season flowers that would be able to tolerate the hot summer day. They wanted an experience for their guests, and one main show-stopping design with the pergola, and for the other smaller details to all play back into that main piece. They wanted something that felt fun, and natural, with a hint of whimsy and some soft elegance. Lovelia came up with the PERFECT design. From wrapping the pergola in greenery, to hanging flower chains that created curtains for guests to walk through and enter the wedding, the guest experience was immediately defined by this epic piece. That same pergola served as their alter, and the backdrop of their sweetheart table, and she made sure that it effortlessly transitioned through the evening, always being picture perfect. The bud vases were perfectly balanced, adding more whimsy while staying simple and elevated, and the piece to hide the ugly BBQ that would have otherwise been in every wedding photo was a true work of art. The ceremony and reception space were one and the same, with 8 tables needing to be fully set up in just an hour, and Maria Jose and her team made sure to stay and help make sure that ever table had the perfect arrangement and every candle was lit. Start to finish, Maria Jose made sure that we were always on the same page. She gave advice and input, she steered the couple back to center when they got a bit off course, she listed to their concerns and took their priorities into account at every step. I will always always always refer every couple I can to Lovelia.

Debra made our wedding truly the best event of my lifetime. My husband loved her, my entire family loved her & all of the other vendors were so appreciative of her constant hard work and dedication. I know it sounds like I’m an overly doting fan girl… but I AM. lol. For the rest of my life I am so truly grateful for everything Debra did for my husband & I during the process. My wedding was an intensely complicated endeavor & Debra handled it with beauty, grace, talent & ease. She is a mythical & incredible human who made all of my dreams come true. It wasn’t easy. She had to help me build the venue from absolute scratch. I am an artist & a creator & Debra made me feel seen & heard throughout the entire process. I look at the drone footage now & im telling you, this woman created a masterpiece. She handled family matters and different vendor personalities with consistent professionalism and finesse. She sat through COUNTLESS zoom calls with me figuring out transportation & so many tiny minute details. I would spend the money to hire her again one hundred times over & will do so for any future events I plan. This review section isn’t nearly long enough to explain how much what Debra Meadows did for me & us… but we love you forever Debra! This review could be an entire novel & that’s why it’s taken me too long to write! But if anyone ever is questioning hiring Meadows Events, hit me up & I will explain to you every reason why! P.S. You can call her Disco ball Debra because she came up with the idea of the gorgeous disco balls at our wedding! She has immaculate taste.

I can't recommend this company enough! From my first interaction with Rob to working with Nick on our wedding day, everything was so smooth and professional. I was looking for a non-traditional wedding DJ, someone who wasn't too cheesy or "in your face," and that is exactly what I found with this company. We loved working with Nick M. and had chosen him specifically because he was recommended for the type of music we prefer. He read the room and understood the vibe we were going for and was able to fill in the blanks in our provided playlists perfectly. We got so many compliments from guests regarding how good the music was, which made us really happy. Nick was also very flexible and accommodating as we had a lot of last-minute song choices (night before and day-of). He did everything to make sure we were on the same page with the song choices and song order, especially regarding the grand entrance and first dance songs. My only regret is that I didn't get to talk to Nick more amongst the craziness of the wedding day! I would highly recommend Second Song and Nick M. for all your wedding DJ needs!

Seth was the best wedding DJ that we could have hoped for! We first met Seth at a wedding vendor expo event at our reception venue and were immediately impressed by the quality of his sound system and his ability to mix the selected soundtrack live. Seth is very communicative. In our first meeting with Seth, it was already immediately apparent that he was very experienced and very passionate about making our wedding day special and everything that we wanted it to be. We felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing, and on the day of the wedding he executed flawlessly. As for the preparation work, Seth schedules multiple meetings with you leading up to your wedding day which eases a lot of the nerves heading into busy planning season. Seth also has an app that you can download on your phone which is awesome because it allows you to edit details of your wedding day timeline and playlist on-the-go as we were making decisions during the planning months. On the day of the wedding, Seth came prepared having downloaded all the music that we talked about ahead of time and he kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT (over 3 hours). Seth responded to the audience and was able to mix a variety of genres that we had requested (like country, pop, spanish music, musical songs, etc) over various sets across the evening. He also coordinated our photo booth which was a nice touch that all the guests really enjoyed and had a second person stationed there for help all night. We couldn't recommend Seth enough to other couples who are in need of a DJ! Thank you, Seth!

We are so grateful to have had Randall as our photographer for both our engagement and wedding day. From start to finish, he was a dream to work with professional, warm, and so thoughtful in his approach. For our engagement session, we wanted to recreate the Japan vibes since we got engaged there, but we weren’t sure how Little Tokyo in Downtown LA would translate in photos. Randall completely exceeded our expectations. Between the Venice Canals and Little Tokyo, he perfectly captured the aesthetic we were hoping for, and the final shots were stunning. James was so much fun at our wedding! He was a great MC/DJ and was a hit with all of our wedding guests. He communicated with us throughout the wedding process and kept in touch with both me and my wedding coordinator whenever we came across any details we needed to discuss. I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. The Oviatt Penthouse is a ridiculously unique venue. The outdoor patios are amazing- perfect for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. We had a band and it was perfect. The views are insane. The bridal suite is the original owner's bedroom- all w/ original furniture. Gorgeous. The staff were AMAZING. Super cool, down to earth, normal people who are great at their jobs. We are so beyond happy we went with this venue.

I was almost not going to choose Ingrid as a wedding coordinator and that would have been one of my biggest regrets as a bride for my wedding. I actually had already put a small deposit down for another wedding coordinator, but once I met Ingrid, she stole my heart. She was my calm to my storm, my ying to my yang, my Robin to my Batman…etc Ingrid is not only an amazing wedding coordinator, but she is also an amazing wedding officiant. She took our love story and crazy ceremony ideas (such as taking a shot with us along with our guests before we sealed the deal or taping our ring box underneath one of the chairs for a surprise ring bearer) and created the ceremony of our dreams. To hear from multiple guests that it was the best ceremony they attended was the best compliment we could receive because the ceremony is the most important part of a wedding. It was my favorite part of my wedding. Then she can amazingly switch gears from officiant to wedding coordinator and rock that too. She can do it all (literally). I always have other couples tell us that their wedding day goes by very fast and they didn’t really get to enjoy all the little things. However, my husband and I felt like our special day did not go by so fast and we most definitely got to enjoy the little things mainly because Ingrid took care of everything behind the scenes that no one sees. She created an amazing timeline for us, took charge of our vendors, made sure we were right on schedule with everything, was super communicative along the way… the list goes on and on. She is everything you would want in a wedding coordinator. I am very sad I won’t get to work with her anymore unless I get married again lol, but I would recommend her to anyone I know and hopefully get to see her in action again.

The first time I met them was at my sister’s wedding, I was the maid of honor at the time. Both the photographer and videographer were very professional, and my sister got beautiful pictures and a great video. I did not waste a minute when the time came for me to choose photographers for my wedding. I came up on short notice, my wedding was about 4 months from the moment I contacted them, and I was concerned that they might not have my date available, which would be really unfortunate. Luckily, they were available. The whole booking process went really smoothly, and we got them booked! I knew what to expect from them on my wedding day already, but they’ve surprised me once again! We were behind schedule, by about half an hour or so. Their service should have ended by this time, and they wouldn’t capture our grand exit from the venue. So they stayed late, at no extra charge. At that moment I understood that these guys were looking not to shoot “another wedding”, but they were looking for quality. Without the grand exit, which was really important (we made it as epic as it could be), our wedding video wouldn’t have the ending we wanted. I’m so grateful we booked them, I’ve already recommended them to a couple of my friends, they’ve also been on my wedding day and saw the pictures and the video, they left speechless! Really recommend!

You will not find a better wedding band than The Moon Units! (and it's way better than a DJ, trust). We chose them because we heard them at our friends’ wedding, and it was the best wedding band we had ever heard. They played songs that weren’t the typical songs you always hear at weddings (and get bored/sick of), and they sounded EXACTLY like the original version of the song - incredible musicians and vocals. My now husband is a former professional musician, so the music at our wedding was extremely important to us, and we knew they were the only choice. From their communication throughout our planning, to their extensive song list, to the option for them to learn specials songs just for us (which they crushed), The Moon Units were nothing short of spectacular. They are also all very kind people, which is the cherry on top and makes such a difference on a wedding day!! They will also be playing at another friends’ upcoming wedding soon too (that’s how impressed everyone is with them). We had so many people come up to us after our wedding to tell us the music was the best out of any wedding they have been to, and everyone had so much fun dancing! 100/10

Where do we even start with Tavi -- she is perfect in every way!! She's that balanced blend that we all want in a planner of detailed, fun, and gets the job done. She was there for us every step of the way, but her magic really shined through when our venue had to change 2 days before the wedding. She immediately sprung into action, secured us an incredible new venue, and made sure all vendors were onboard with the new game plan, all without us having to lift a finger. We don't know what we would have done without Tavi and will certainly be recommending her to every single friend ever, until the end of time. On top of that final hour hero swoop, she made the whole wedding look GORGEOUS. There was not a single detail she missed. She took a random box of decorations we provided, and made a magical garden of eden out of it. We got so many compliments after about how seamless the wedding was, and so many said that if we hadn't told them about the venue change, they would have been none the wiser. That's the kind of magic Tavi can pull off. There's no one better.
