Wow! All I can really say about working with Maria Jose at Lovelia Floral is just wow! I've known Maria Jose for years, so when I had a couple still in need of a florist she was the first person I reached out to. Let me tell you, I've always known that she is attentive and detail oriented, and really likes to make sure that her clients have the full vision, but I was still blown away by the night and day difference between her and other florists I talked to. She didn't just ask for table count, centerpiece type, and color palette like so many others, she actually took the time to understand what was important to the couple and their wedding day. This couple was getting married in Camarillo, where the brides family has lived and worked for generations. Meanwhile, the grooms family is full of botanists and park rangers. This meant that it was super important to them that the flowers be from local farmers and be in-season flowers that would be able to tolerate the hot summer day. They wanted an experience for their guests, and one main show-stopping design with the pergola, and for the other smaller details to all play back into that main piece. They wanted something that felt fun, and natural, with a hint of whimsy and some soft elegance. Lovelia came up with the PERFECT design. From wrapping the pergola in greenery, to hanging flower chains that created curtains for guests to walk through and enter the wedding, the guest experience was immediately defined by this epic piece. That same pergola served as their alter, and the backdrop of their sweetheart table, and she made sure that it effortlessly transitioned through the evening, always being picture perfect. The bud vases were perfectly balanced, adding more whimsy while staying simple and elevated, and the piece to hide the ugly BBQ that would have otherwise been in every wedding photo was a true work of art. The ceremony and reception space were one and the same, with 8 tables needing to be fully set up in just an hour, and Maria Jose and her team made sure to stay and help make sure that ever table had the perfect arrangement and every candle was lit. Start to finish, Maria Jose made sure that we were always on the same page. She gave advice and input, she steered the couple back to center when they got a bit off course, she listed to their concerns and took their priorities into account at every step. I will always always always refer every couple I can to Lovelia.

I know it sounds like I’m an overly doting fan girl… but I AM. lol. For the rest of my life I am so truly grateful for everything Debra did for my husband & I during the process. My wedding was an intensely complicated endeavor & Debra handled it with beauty, grace, talent & ease. She is a mythical & incredible human who made all of my dreams come true. It wasn’t easy. She had to help me build the venue from absolute scratch. I am an artist & a creator & Debra made me feel seen & heard throughout the entire process. I look at the drone footage now & im telling you, this woman created a masterpiece. She handled family matters and different vendor personalities with consistent professionalism and finesse. She sat through COUNTLESS zoom calls with me figuring out transportation & so many tiny minute details. I would spend the money to hire her again one hundred times over & will do so for any future events I plan. This review section isn’t nearly long enough to explain how much what Debra Meadows did for me & us… but we love you forever Debra! I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. I was almost not going to choose Ingrid as a wedding coordinator and that would have been one of my biggest regrets as a bride for my wedding. I actually had already put a small deposit down for another wedding coordinator, but once I met Ingrid, she stole my heart. She was my calm to my storm, my ying to my yang, my Robin to my Batman…etc Ingrid is not only an amazing wedding coordinator, but she is also an amazing wedding officiant. She took our love story and crazy ceremony ideas (such as taking a shot with us along with our guests before we sealed the deal or taping our ring box underneath one of the chairs for a surprise ring bearer) and created the ceremony of our dreams. To hear from multiple guests that it was the best ceremony they attended was the best compliment we could receive because the ceremony is the most important part of a wedding. It was my favorite part of my wedding. Then she can amazingly switch gears from officiant to wedding coordinator and rock that too. She can do it all (literally). I always have other couples tell us that their wedding day goes by very fast and they didn’t really get to enjoy all the little things. However, my husband and I felt like our special day did not go by so fast and we most definitely got to enjoy the little things mainly because Ingrid took care of everything behind the scenes that no one sees. She created an amazing timeline for us, took charge of our vendors, made sure we were right on schedule with everything, was super communicative along the way… the list goes on and on. She is everything you would want in a wedding coordinator. I am very sad I won’t get to work with her anymore unless I get married again lol, but I would recommend her to anyone I know and hopefully get to see her in action again.

The Moon Units were the best part of our dreamy desert wedding! If it wasn’t an open, outdoor wedding they would’ve torn off the roof (while respecting local sound ordinances, of course.) They have such a deep catalog of hits and did a great job balancing the set list between bangers that appealed to guests who came to dance and those who were a little bit shy. They kept the energy level over the top from cocktail hour through a windy night that would have sent many vendors packing up. The wind knocked the venue power out halfway through the set, and they didn’t miss a beat while the venue got generators online for their electric amps. They kept the party going into the night, and looked like they were having as much fun as we were, despite falling amps and heat lamps! The guests were raving about them: - ‘I felt like I was back in high school, dancing with reckless abandon!’ - ‘ I have never seen my parents dance, but they didn’t leave the dance floor’ They couldn’t have been nicer to work with, and we are thankful for their part in our perfect day!

I’ve heard of Aladdin Films from my friend, who 2 months before the wedding couldn’t stop talking about their team and a wedding video her sister got from Aladdin Films. Of course, after such a review from my best friend, I had to consider Aladdin Films for my wedding day. But once I got on their website, their hyper-creative, beautifully done videos and fantastic photos didn’t leave me any choice other than contact them. And after talking to Iman about their services, he left me no choice other than hire them. His enthusiasm and creative approach to work was spectacular. But still, I was a little bit skeptical till the day of my wedding. But as soon as I met them in person, I was 100% sure that they will create a masterpiece. Words cannot describe how hardworking their team is. They came half an hour before the wedding to observe the place and create a plan on what, where, and when they will be doing certain things. Their service was on another level, but everything comes down to one thing. The result. It didn’t take them long to edit everything, and when we sat with the whole family on our couch to see the result. Everybody was in complete delight. We couldn’t stop laughing, crying, and wondering how they could take such a good shot. It seemed that they had not 3 but 10 cameras. Top-notch editing, perfect angles, and great sound design are just some of the characteristics of that video. And pictures can be displayed in the Louver. Their artistic retouching photos were so good, that we are going to print them on huge canvases and put them all on the walls of our house. We immediately send them out to all of our relatives and hurried them up to hire them ASAP because as they said, they often get booked up. We’ll definitely hire them again on all of our family events, and if you are a couple that is looking for a videographer & photographer to capture the best moments of your wedding day, look no further, Aladdin Films is an obvious choice.
