I want the photos of my wedding that I don’t have –; that capture the moments of affection between our family members; that remind us of the little details and big feelings of that day. I want the photos of my father-in-law walking my wife down the aisle, six months before he unexpectedly passed away. Those photos don’t exist. Instead, I have a handful of blurry, poorly edited images, the half-hearted efforts of an amateur photographer who didn’t yet know what he was doing with a camera. At that time I didn’t know the value of a professional wedding photographer, so I didn’t make the investment and it’s one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made.

Out of high school, I went directly to cosmetology school. My first hairdressing job landed me on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills at Jose Eber. Not a bad place to start. I moved around a bit until I found a salon that I was happy with. I worked in Malibu, where I had a good high end clientele. But I lived for the weddings and prom days. So Fairytale was born. I made a website, got a booth at a bridal show, and the response was overwhelming. Then I decided I needed to find other artists with the same passion and talent to work with.
