Lucky Frog Floral is a Ventura County based wedding and event floral studio. The owner, Erin, is a Ventura County native who has been working in the floral industry since her teen years. In 2025 she took the leap and launched Lucky Frog Floral putting her 10+ years of floral experience to work.

From our first conversation, she was incredibly responsive, easy to communicate with, and full of thoughtful recommendations that helped us stay within budget without sacrificing beauty. She truly listened to what we wanted and delivered beyond what we could have imagined. Erin even found creative ways to repurpose pieces from our ceremony for the reception, which made everything feel cohesive and intentional. On the day of the wedding, she set everything up flawlessly and seamlessly transitioned the ceremony arrangements indoors during cocktail hour—our guests didn’t even notice the switch, just that everything looked amazing! We received compliments on the flowers all night long. Erin’s talent, professionalism, and attention to detail are unmatched. • Serves Thousand Oaks, CA

My name is Jenae and I am the lead designer at Jenae Marie floral. We are a family owned business based in Simi Valley. We draw our inspiration from our customers and are dedicated to creating the wedding of your dreams.

Jenae did the most amazing job with the floral arrangements for our wedding. The arch was the most beautiful floral arch I have ever seen and she did an incredible job with our difficult color pallet. The flowers were like art and even better than I could have ever imagined. Her floral work was truly the highlight of our wedding and made the space come together. She was always very calm and confident throughout the process and took our ideas and made our dreams that we didn't think were possible a reality. It was so nice to work with someone so competent yet calming during a stressful process. I cannot say enough thanks and praise for her amazing work.

Petal and Fleur
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Thousand Oaks, CA

I am Kirsten and in January 2018 I said goodbye to my full time job as an administrative assistant and hello to stepping in faith and starting my own business! You could say the idea to start my own business fell into my lap, but it also came from a long-time love and passion for flowers and really any living plant. In 2016 when a friend approached me and asked if I would be interested in doing the flowers for her wedding. I said yes and that is when it all began to snowball, in the best way possible! Now here we are present day and I am in LOVE with my job, but it wouldn’t be possible without you!

We had such a great experience working with Petal and Fleur for our wedding day! Kirsten did a great job understanding the vision we were going for, and working with us to create something truly beautiful. She helped me incorporate flowers into my bouquet that each of our mothers had in theirs, and suggested what would be seasonal and look best. Kirsten is kind, responsive, and fairly priced. Highly recommend working with her for any event!

Thirty-One Petal
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Thousand Oaks, CA

Meet Taylor, Jesus lover, proud mama, business owner, floral designer Taylor is a Southern California Native specializing in organic floral design. Taylors journey to floral design was not intentional. While suffering through a season of difficulty regarding her health, she found that what brought her the most peace + comfort was being outside and playing with flowers in her driveway. Making arrangements out of anything she could find. It wasnt long after that God stepped in and provided her with opportunities to pursue what is now known as Thirty- One Petal.

Working with Thirty-One Petal for our wedding was such a joy! From the start, they were super professional and really responsive. You could tell they paid attention to every little detail, and the quality of their work was just fantastic. They even took behind-the-scenes photos during the ceremony and she even off the red to jump in to create extra bouquets on the spot when we realized we had taken them out of the contract. She's amazing—honestly, we couldn’t be happier with the beautiful flowers they made for our special day!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (80 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Thousand Oaks, CA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
We used the “Full Monty” package for our wedding and DIY-ed all our florals. Our florist, Hattie, did a great job listening to our vision and responded to all of our questions quickly! We explored options together, and she was able to help us get so much more than we would have with a florist and with the exact color palette we were looking at. Neither of us are great at design/DIY, but we felt very supported by the plethora of tutorials, recipes, and videos to create our flowers. With our florals, we made 6 pillar arrangements, 2 bridal bouquets, 8 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 corsages, a boutonniere, 2 medium centerpieces, and close to 100 bud vases. My maid of honor made my bridal bouquet, which made it even more special than it would have if a florist had made it. The flowers arrived at our AirBnb without any issues, and we lost barely any florals! I will say if DIY-ing flowers, whether with Flower Moxie or not, make sure you have people to help - especially with getting the florals out of the wrapping, in buckets, and cutting stems. We had our crews help, and it still looked overwhelming at first, so I can see how it can be stressful. We had our day-of-coordinator set everything up florals-wise on our wedding day, and everything looked GORGEOUS. If you have the people to help and are looking for more florals for less money, we would definitely recommend DIY-ing with flower moxie

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

The Faux Bouquets were great at communicating throughout the entire process! They provided amazing, lifelike floral arrangements that were beautiful in our wedding photos. This was such an easy and convenient service - we simply received the pre-made package, used them for our special day, then packaged them back up to send off. We were thrilled with the quality and value of their work, which truly contributed to making our wedding day perfect.

Working with Jen for our October 2025 wedding was AMAZING!! From the moment we sent in an online inquiry, Jen was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail oriented. She got us set up with a project planning doc immediately, and she was SO patient with us even when we were annoyingly indecisive about our vision lol. She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. I cannot recommend Jen and Wood and Word Blooms ENOUGH!!! PS bouquet photo is from today (1/5/26)!! The longevity is insane!

Oh my goodness, Michelle and her entire team were absolutely the best! Michelle is such an absolute pleasure to work with and made everything so easy. Design meetings were so fun and she asked great questions and really understood what were looking for, even when we could not fully articulate it at first. She pulled up helpful example photos live and really crafted the most beautiful artistic vision. In our final design meeting, she created real example arrangements so we could see how things would look in terms of volume and with the different vase options, which was so helpful. She has a fantastic stock of different styles of vases and candles/candle holders, and it was easy to pick something beautiful. We also appreciated her design insight on candles and were really happy with the candles and arrangements we selected. We originally planned on getting married outdoors and attaching flowers to a gazebo, but it rained day-of, and Michelle gets absolute bonus points for rearranging plans at the last moment! She went to see the indoor arch option that was already available at the venue and understood we wouldn't like it, and she went out of her way to rent a beautiful arch that meshed with our artistic vision - and we LOVED it! The ceremony floral artistry was unique and so beautiful and we were so happy with how it turned out. Michelle and her team were so kind and caring and easy to work with day-of as well, we were so appreciative and happy to have them there. The personal items were beyond incredible! I loved my bouquet so much and wish I could have kept it forever, it was everything I had dreamed of and more! My husband chose the full lapel boutonniere and it turned out fantastic and looked so good! He thought it was beautiful, cool, and different, and provided visual interest. We also appreciated Michelle's attention to detail with the designs and their sizes; I am a petite woman and she crafted a bouquet that was the perfect size and not overwhelming. Closer to the wedding, tariffs were introduced, and we really appreciated Michelle's transparency and up-front communication about the different options. She provided a high degree of flexibility depending on comfort level, and it made a potentially stressful situation much easier. We were really happy with the choices she provided us. All in all, we are SO happy we chose Something's Blooming! Our guests continue to rave about the gorgeous floral designs and we are over the moon with how they turned out. Thank you so much Michelle!

Sam helped decorate our wedding in February in Redondo Beach, and we are SO happy with everything he did for us. He came over hours before our ceremony to set everything up, and was also over at the end to take everything down. Prior to the event, we were working with Sam for a couple months to nail down our exact vision for all the floral pieces, and all of Sam's work met and exceeded what we envisioned by a mile. On top of all that, Sam was really amazing to work with. He was always responsive and we worked really well together to come up with the perfect flowers for our wedding. It really is amazing to see a theoretical vision come to reality is such a big way. I highly recommend booking Sam for your floral needs. You'll not regret it, he's amazing :)

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!
