Wedding Oasis

The Ojai Retreat & Inn was everything we could have asked for for our wedding in early November!! We rented the whole property for our wedding party and the weekend felt like a dream oasis! Before the wedding, we were able to immerse ourselves in the serenity of the Ojai Retreat by taking a stroll on the nature path. We also enjoyed nearby restaurants (Bonnie Lu's for breakfast and Ca'Marco for our Rehearsal Dinner) that were a short car ride away. We used the living room area and the upstairs library for getting ready spaces and they were well air-conditioned and provided more than enough space for all of us- without the groom seeing the bride, of course. Then during our ceremony and reception, the beauty of the landscape and views made for marvelous photos and memories! It was truly magical and felt like an enchanted fairytale! On top of the beauty of the property, everyone who works at the Ojai Retreat & Inn is so kind and helpful! A special thank you to Dana and Lia for your help and to all the workers who helped move lawn furniture before our rentals needed to unload. They were so flexible with us and worked with us on our many random questions and requests. We can't wait to come back to the Ojai Retreat & Inn for our anniversaries!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Ojai Retreat & Inn. After a very busy and stressful time in the city, this was exactly the kind of place I needed to slow down, breathe, and have some time for myself. It felt like coming home after all the noise and busyness of the city. The peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, beautiful mountain views, quiet surroundings, and positive energy made it very easy to relax and reconnect with myself. The staff were warm and friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the gardens were especially beautiful at night. I also loved that it’s only a few minutes from downtown Ojai, so you can enjoy the town while still having a peaceful place to come back to. A beautiful, welcoming place to spend a few calm days, relax, and simply be happy. I’m very grateful I found this place and would definitely come back.

My sister and I spent a night here and had such a lovely stay. There’s something really special about this place. You can feel the care and personal touches throughout, and everyone was so kind and attentive. The property is beautiful and there are so many little pockets to explore or just sit and relax. We walked the nature paths, watched the Pink Moment over the Topa Topa Mountains, and enjoyed the reading room and cozy living room. Breakfast in the morning was also a nice touch, they had vegan bread and plenty of options for different palates. I came here feeling pretty burnt out from grad school, and being surrounded by the fresh air, water, mountains, and quiet genuinely felt restorative. I’m really happy my sister and I got to spend a night here and wake up to such a beautiful view. Ojai Retreat & Inn has a charm of its own. Looking forward to visiting again.

This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. The view was amazing . The staff were exceptionally kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Whenever we are in Ojai, we will stay at this hotel!!!!
