    DJ Emmet is Incredible!

    Emmett was an amazing DJ for our wedding! Communication was great! He was so easy to work with and made everything much easier. He immediately understood the vibe we were going for and complemented our playlist well. The setup looked incredible, the lighting/uplights were a great addition and made our atmosphere grand! Everybody had a great time on the dance floor thanks to him!

    Overall Good!

    DJ Emmett Florence kept our reception flowing smoothly from start to finish with great song choices and energy that got everyone on the dance floor. Communication with him was solid, though responses took a little longer than expected during the planning stages. The only hiccup was he played the wrong version of song for the groom's processional, it didn't affect the overall vibe of the night but we could definitely tell it was a different song because of how familiar we were with our song choice. For the price, you're getting a professional who knows how to read a crowd and keep the party going. He was easy to work with on the day itself and made the music transitions feel seamless. We'd definitely recommend him for future couples looking for a reliable DJ.

    Highly recommend DJ Emmett!

    We had an amazing experience with DJ Emmett and would absolutely recommend him! What I really loved about him was his style and taste. It meant we didn’t need to micromanage the music or over-plan every detail. We gave him a few must-plays and a general sense of the cocktail hour vibe, and he took it from there. He knows how to read a room! The uplighting he provided as part of the package also completely transformed the space. He was also an excellent MC. One of our favorite moments was the little couple trivia game he did to dismiss tables for the buffet. It was such a fun touch and guests really loved it.

    DJ Emmett was incredible. He was so easy to work with, made the day go smoothly, and played all of our songs that we wanted. The dance floor was moving and grooving all night long! There was never a let up in the vibes with this man behind the booth, and our guests gave him so many compliments. Would 10,000% recommend for anyone wanting a blast.

On the day of our wedding, Emmett checked in several times to make sure the music selection and volume were hitting the mark. His MC work was polished and engaging, keeping the energy of the room just right all night long. He offers high quality of DJ & MC work with reasonable price—we felt like we got incredible value. Plus, he looked sharp in his suit and added to the overall vibe of our celebration. We'd absolutely recommend Emmett to any couple looking for a DJ.

Yes! It's important to me that my playlist is tailored to you and your tastes. I also enjoy incorporating requests from guests into my mixes as appropriate.
I have an acoustic guitar cocktail hour set I can perform as requested if you book me with one of my service packages that includes enhancements.
I typically arrive 2 hours before guests to set up. Set up and take down time is included with all of my services packages so you don't have to worry about paying extra!
Yes! I can also create a custom certificate of insurance (COI) for your venue upon request.
I typically charge a $100-300 travel fee for weddings that require 2+ hrs of driving from downtown Los Angeles.
