Hi, we're The Moon Units! Our objective is simple: To be California's best wedding band, best cover band, and best live karaoke band. Over the past decade, we've built our name on premium talent, the largest song list in the region, and prices that are just a fraction of what corporate booking agencies charge. We can't wait to play for you!

Five things set The Moon Units apart from other wedding bands. 1. Versatility: We know over 400 songs in all sorts of genres, and add new ones all the time. 2. Talent: Our players and singers hail from top music programs like Berklee College of Music, UCLA, and CalArts. 3. Authenticity: Ever go to a wedding and think the band was so ridiculously cheesy? Not The Moon Units! We're as authentic as a band you'd see in live club or theater. 4. Fun: How does fronting the band during live band karaoke sound? You can do it!     The Moon Units made my wedding. It all started when my wife (fiancee at the time) forwarded me an Instagram clip of them because she knew I was set on hiring a live band. I took my sweet time to cast a wide net and to follow, interview, and compare A LOT of bands. We went out to watch our top two choices and when we saw The Moon Units' positive energy, ability to rock the crowd, and musical skill, we immediately knew that they were meant to be our band (just like when we saw the venue we wanted, we just knew). They are highly accommodating, musically versatile, and truly professional, Hollywood type performers who will seal the deal on upgrading your wedding from already great to one of the greatest your guests have ever been to. The three things that most impressed me about them during my wedding were: 1) they gave it their all on every song whether there were two people on the dance floor or the whole group (and believe me, your guests will notice this too), 2) they were able to improvise to seamlessly integrate with all my other vendors and moving parts without any interruptions, as if my wedding was truly an entertainment production, and 3) whether they were singing rock, hiphop (yacht version), metal, r&b, pop, Kpop, oldies, or jazz, they performed as if it was their main genre. We requested them to learn two of our favorite songs that we loved but were skeptical that they could perform because of how hard they were to sing, and man did they prove us wrong! Each of the musicians are friendly, multi talented/multi instrument, down to earth people who love what they do and have a great time performing. They output pure sound candy and also look great doing it. Your stage will be glammed up and filled out, and your guests will compliment and remember your band choice even more than your food, I guarantee it. My wife and I are now semi-groupies (and I'm not ashamed as their gigs take me back to the best night of my life), and we aren't the only ones! That's something that no Youtube clip or online review can really convey. Good luck and have a great time wedding planning, but hire The Moon Units!!!

    We had the pleasure of having The Moon Units perform at our wedding, and they were absolutely amazing! We enjoyed working with Dylan, he was incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process. From the initial planning stages to our big day, Dylan and the band were very professional, helping us sort out all the specific details well in advance. One of the highlights was when they specially learned a song for our first dance. It was such a personal touch that made the moment unforgettable. They also performed a beautiful acoustic rendition of "Can't Help Falling in Love" for our ceremony, which was perfect. They kept the energy high and the good vibes all night long. They curated a great set list for us and played a wonderful mix of oldies, classic rock hits, and modern pop that we and our guests loved. We can't recommend The Moon Units enough. They made our wedding night super fun and memorable. Check out their youtube/instagram and see for yourself why you should book them.     The Moon Units were hands down the best part of our night. They played during and after dinner for us. They nailed the vibe of our party and played music that was a hit with all the guests. The musicians were amazing and they really brought an amazing energy. Everyone told me how much they loved the band and the venue owner asked for their name to recommend to other couples. Communication leading up to the wedding was great. They did an amazing job learning new songs for us (we gave them a real wild card) and brought so much energy. They even played a few bars In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida spur of the moment as a request from my dad. All the musicians were incredible and they were really able to get a solid depth of repertoire. Couldn't recommend the Moon Units more!!!!

    The band was amazing! Communication was stellar from the start to finish. Super professional. They were amazing performers and all so talented! Many of our guests felt like they were at a concert & so many said it was best wedding ever because of band!! Wide range of set list & also learn songs to accommodate first dance etc. Highly recommend to all!!!
