Milton Ridge was an amazing venue for our wedding. The connections, experience, and package deals they offer are super convenient and reduce the stress of planning for the big day. It is a beautiful and accommodating location that really caters to your idea of the best wedding. Shout out to Meaghan for her work in coordinating, especially day-of. If you are looking for a venue and long-term coordinator that takes care of all the minute details and plans everything for you, you might want to hire an additional "month of" planner and coordinator. Be sure to read through all of the offerings to avoid missing details and add-on costs. Also, be aware that Milton Ridge is not necessarily "in charge" of some of the vendors they utilize. The location is private and beautiful. Bridal and groom suites are comfy and well appointed in case you forget the small stuff like hangers and speakers. The coordinators were also communicative and flexible after the wedding when we realized we left/lost some items. Overall, a great experience and lovely location.

Drumore Mill is a different world. It is nestled in a corner of the most rustic township in Amish Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The mill was built in 1752 as a sawmill and a grist mill. It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. The combination of rustic setting, natural beauties, and historical features makes Drumore Mill amazingly beautiful. One has to see it to believe it.

Drumore Mill was our DREAM wedding venue! We were looking for a rustic, nature-rich wedding venue that had an outdoor feel but still was covered in case of rain, and also had the option for us to bring in our own caterer, stay on-site with our bridal party and immediate family, and enjoy the property for the full weekend, and Drumore Mill checked all the boxes! Thuy was great to work with & super accommodating when we wanted to do our engagement photos on the property and come back and visit to take more pictures and measurements before the wedding...I couldn't stop visiting because its so beautiful. We got an overwhelming number of compliments from our guests on the venue and how beautiful and unique the space was for a wedding. Everything went incredibly well for the weekend and we were so happy with how everything turned out. We would definitely recommend Drumore Mill if you're looking for a unique wedding venue in the Lancaster area. And we will be coming back to stay on the property in the years to come!

My wedding was May 12th at Rockfield Manor and it was everything I could have asked for and more! From the moment I walked in the place, I knew I was going to get married there. The staff made the process of booking my wedding so easy, clear and stress free. My Day of Coordinator and the staff took care of EVERYTHING, and I mean everything! From set up to break down and making sure my now husband and I had drinks and food throughout the night. I know everyone says your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye but I truly believe the stress free environment they created really helped us relax to make the night last forever. I would choose and recommend Rockfield Manor over and over again to anyone that is looking for a beautiful wedding day.

My team has worked with, and recommended Blue Pit, for several weddings over the past two years. Cara makes the catering portion of wedding planning really easy for our clients and the food is always fantastic. We love having a true bartender on weddings, where our couples signature drinks are as good as they serve at their restaurant. Being able to celebrate anniversaries with Blue Pit at their restaurant is the best way to relive your wedding day. We cannot recommend Cara (or the cornbread) more.

The Belvedere was an absolutely dream as a venue and I'd highly recommend it to anyone considering a Baltimore wedding. The space is gorgeous and the team is incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. There are many different options to choose from for layouts in the spaces at all price ranges and the team communicates clearly throughout planning. The team was also flexible and willing to work with us when concerns did arise and was very responsive to questions we had. The vendors they recommend are incredibly professional and have a very high level of experience working in the space. Lastly the food was fantastic - all of our guests were highly complementary. The day of the wedding my expectations were absolutely exceeded - we were blown away at how beautiful all of the spaces were. The event team was at the ready throughout the event - bringing drinks to my husband and I our families, collecting gifts and generally being extremely helpful. They are all extremely friendly and seemed to be having fun as well as taking their role very seriously. I highly recommend The Belvedere - building and the events team have a special place in our entire families heart.

The courtyard was so beautiful that my mind instantly melted into our ceremony and its magical setting. Our guests were so impressed and stunned at the gothic aesthetics of the ballroom as well. Looking back on photos, I know we couldn’t have picked a better place. To put it simply, this venue and David’s experience with wedding events of all types make it the ultimate package. As an experienced DJ who has enjoyed working at Mountain Branch for many years, I can confidently say that this venue consistently exceeds expectations. Sold to Harford County in the late 1970s, the mansion now operates as a historic, cultural, educational, and recreational facility, managed by the nonprofit Liriodendron Foundation, Inc. A hidden treasure nestled in the woods, edged with flower and boxwood gardens. Celebrate your special day here and create beautiful memories for hosts and guests alike.

We booked this venue due to how beautiful, classical, and elegant it looked. The price was also very fair and reasonable, however you really have to be aware of what you are getting when you book. The space is wonderful but you are truly just getting use of the space without any additional service. The employees of the Liriodendron were difficult to get in touch with following our booking. There was some staff turnover between booking and the day of our event that wasn't properly communicated. Additionally, they do not provide some of the day of services that were mentioned during our tour. The employee they had there on the day of our ceremony and reception basically was there to unlock the doors and to let us know when our time was up in the evening. If you are going to book with this venue, I would anticipate hiring a planner, or at the very least, a day of coordinator. Despite this, the venue is truly stunning and it photographed better than we could have imagined!

We had our 100-guest, creative black tie, February wedding at BMA with ceremony and reception in Fox Court and cocktail hour in Antioch Court. We were very impressed with the booking and planning process with Alicia. The rules were quite restrictive, but it's a museum after all and most rules were discussed up front. We found it important to mostly use vendors who have worked at BMA before and are familiar with the rules. Both rooms were breathtaking on the wedding day! We were impressed with the number of staff BMA provided for our wedding day; all being super friendly and helpful. We can't wait to spend our anniversaries visiting the museum in the future.

I had specifically wanted to have a barn reception and had looked locally and started to lose hope until I came across pictures online on Pinterest, of course, and fell in love. I had talked about it with my Aunt and she told me she personally knew Scott and I knew I had to go visit. When we took a tour I absolutely fell in love with the whole property! My husband was so giddy about the history of the home and we knew this was it! We had gotten married at the sweetest little church down the road so my cousin, who is a Priest could marry us. It was St. Francis Xavier Shrine and it is the epitome of small, quaint, historic and a BEAUTIFUL place to get married. Coupled with the barn, the history and the breathtaking home that’s available to stay in for your wedding weekend, everything was perfect and went off without a hitch. If I could do it all again, I wouldn’t change a single thing and I relive the perfect day over and over again. Thank you so much Scott for making magic happen.

Marnie held our hands throughout the entire year long prep and walked us through every step of the way, making the process as easy as possbile. If there were any hiccups or issues on the day of the wedding, we never knew about them because the Drumore team handled them quickly and perfectly. The stunning venue speaks for itself, but the thing that makes it the ultimate wedding venue is really the staff who were all friendly, helpful, quick, and flexible. Our guests are also still raving about how delicious the all of the food was!! I cannot say enough about how truly perfect the day was, which was helped even further by the recommended vendor list provided by the venue -- we were able to book our photographer and DJ (arguably two of the most important parts of the day after the venue) based on the Drumore recommendations, and we had an INCREDIBLE experience with all of them, our guests are still raving about them!!! We had the most incredible wedding at the Barrel House! The space was the perfect meeting of modern and bright for me, and winery-ish and more traditional for my fiance. We lucked out on weather and had the most amazing 4 o'clock light that flooded the space and post ceremony we transitioned outside for Golden hour photos and cocktails. We booked the space over a year ago and since then they've added a bridal parlor, more tables and chairs, glassware and other accessories, all stuff that saved us money. The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

We were drawn to this venue not only because of how beautiful it is, but also because they offer a tiny wedding package. We always knew that we were going to have a small wedding, so this was a great choice for us. We loved that the venue provided most of the necessary services, including food, cake, florals, tables/chairs, and so much more. It took so much stress off of wedding planning! Our wedding coordinator was Stephanie. She worked with us throughout the entire planning process and was very professional. She was also our day-of coordinator that helped make sure our wedding ran smoothly. Everything came together so nicely on our wedding day. Our ceremony was in the Italian Wedding Garden and our reception was in Casa Di Fiori. Both locations were so naturally beautiful on their own, so we didn’t need a ton of extra decorations to spruce it up. Everybody that we communicated with throughout the process was professional and open to all of our ideas and wishes. Overall, we are so happy that we chose to have our wedding at The Inn at Leola Village!

The Lodge at Liberty forge was the perfect venue for us! The picturesque scenery captured our attention immediately. We had the most beautiful ceremony at the gazebo and reception at the lodge. Kathleen and her staff made our dreams come to life and set everything up and tore down so we didn’t have to worry. She was attentive and knowledgeable through the whole process! We were incredibly happy with our amazing meal and the fact that they could make everything as gluten free as possible for me and my allergy. We couldn't be happier with our wedding at Yorkie Acres, it was everything we had dreamed of for our special day. Here are our top five favorite things about our experience: 1) The owners Jason and Alea were absolutely amazing to work with and it felt more like we were making a new set of friends rather than working with a business. 2) The highland cattle! Not only did they provide a beautiful addition to photos, our guests loved interacting with them. The number of times at the wedding, and since, that attendees have remarked about the cattle are too many to count. 3) The location can't be beat. It is only 20 minutes from the resort area around Deep Creek Lake, 10 minutes from a major highway, and 30 minutes from Morgantown, WV. It's location allowed us to have the intimate experience we sought, while still having easy access to lodging, recreation, and vendors for the wedding. 4) The yurt and tiny container house. They are both perfectly set-up for a couple to have everything they need for a comfortable stay. My husband and I stayed in the yurt on our wedding night and were not disappointed. And a bonus of the tiny container house is it has a composting toilet and sink. This may not seem that exciting, but as a bride in a large wedding gown not having to use the porta potty cannot be over stated. :) 5) The photos. Because of the natural beauty of the area, farm animals, historic barn, and flower gardens every single photo that was taken had an amazing backdrop. From the professional photos to the ones snapped by a cell phone we have yet to find one that isn't perfect. If you are looking for a place to have a rustic farm wedding, don't look any further Yorkie Acres is the venue for you.

Found this venue through zola and ended up being the perfect place for our wedding! Not only is the venue, beautiful and historic the food and the ambience was great! We were planning this wedding from afar, and Justine was a perfect host and responded quickly to any request we had. She basically planned our whole wedding for us down to the cake and flowers and we couldn’t be happier. We were not working with a huge budget and they were able to accommodate our every need. We had an adorable ceremony inside the venue with dinner and reception afterwards. A full buffet with all the fixings and incredible appetizers. Everyone was not raving about the friendly staff but the spirits that were made in house. If you are looking for an affordable rustic wedding venue with homemade spirits this is the place!

Our wedding day at Highland Taps & Tables was nothing short of perfection, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue. The venue itself was so charming, we opted to keep it simple with decor. There are so many places for amazing pictures, both indoors and outside on their golf course. Our wedding day flowed seamlessly, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Kirsten and the entire staff. Kirsten, in particular, stood out with her support at every stage of the planning process and on the day itself. She made sure everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment of our special day. One standout feature that set Highland apart was the spacious and private getting-ready area for the bridal party. This was a big plus for us as some other venues we looked at charged extra for spaces like that. The delicious food was served promptly, and every order was accurate. Our guests were impressed with the quality and taste. Highland Taps & Tables is truly a hidden gem, and we feel lucky to have discovered it for our special day. If you're looking for a venue that combines natural beauty, attentive service, and great food, Highland is the ideal choice. I wish I had more unmarried friends to share it with. Brookside Gardens was an amazing venue and the staff there are amazing. There are a wide variety of different venue locations that are all beautiful in their own way. The Brookside Gardens team was amazing. Jennifer in particular went above and beyond but the whole team was really helpful. From the beginning of our wedding planning process to the day of, the folks at Brookside Gardens were super helpful. Jennifer helped us envision our perfect wedding ceremony and reception and made sure it happened just as we had planned. On the day of our wedding, Jennifer and the team were GREAT and helped the day of coordinator as well as all the other vendors navigate the grounds and get things where they needed to be. It's a beautiful venue and the people running it are just as great!

We had a great experience at Olde Village Mill! The indoor space is well thought out, and there is a decent amount of land outside to explore for photos. Daryl & Dianna were very involved in each aspect of the day, and were friendly and accommodating, and professional. If you are looking for a venue that has everything on site, indoor and outdoor ceremony options, and super helpful staff, I cannot recommend this venue enough!

The ground floor, with separate entrances, has a large banquet room and a separate adjoining space perfect for indoor ceremonies and dancing. Outside the doors of the reception rooms is a large brick patio and pollinator garden, just right for cocktail hour. At the edge of the woods is a huge Maple tree and a waterfall where most of our couples choose to have their wedding ceremony. Even better than the facility are the wedding coordinators, Ashley and Juliette. They were both so helpful, from the very first meeting. Ashely was always prompt when responding to my many inquiries. Despite all of my questions, they both were kind and accommodating with everything. They did everything in their power to provide everything we requested to make our day perfect. Their day-of coordination was so needed. Juliette kept everything flowing smoothly throughout the day. I am so grateful that we found this venue, because it was the perfect choice for us. It was the first venue we looked at, and easily the best. I would recommend anyone to use the Westfields for their wedding! You won't be disappointed!

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Alyssa, their wedding coordinator, and all of the staff at Maryland National Golf Club. Alyssa is very professional, detail oriented, and super easy to work with. She gave us exactly what we asked for and everything we didn't know we needed. She made perfect recommendations based on who we are as a couple, and filled in the gaps with details we had forgotten about. The staff as well was extremely friendly and easy to work with. After our wedding, our families, guests, photographer, and DJ could not say enough good things about Alyssa and the staff here! Maryland National Golf Club itself provided a beautiful, intimate setting for our wedding. We had a little over 90 guests and a wedding party of 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. We used the outdoor ceremony space and rented white chairs from the venue. They were set up exactly the way we asked, and it turned out beautiful. We also rented their white arbor for the ceremony itself and asked for it to be set up in front of the beautiful greenery and plants on the right side. We provided decorations for the chairs and the arbor, and Alyssa and her staff set everything up perfectly. We also used the inside, upstairs space for our reception. We decided to have our sweet-heart table in front of big windows, and the tables for our guests set up around the rented dance floor in the center of the room. Appetizers and food were served in the space to the right of of their fireplace. Again, it was intimate and perfect! We provided decor for the tables as well and rented their candle vases and Alyssa made everything so beautiful. Everything flowed well, and guests were easily able to move around and find everything. We also used their catering services, and everything was phenomenal! Another aspect of our wedding that our guests could not say enough about. Again, I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue was. The day of our wedding, I did not feel stressed or worried about any details coming together because I knew everything was prepared and being taken care of by Alyssa and their capable staff. They gave a dream day that my husband and I will treasure forever.

My husband and I had a tiny COVID wedding and chose Mess Hall as our venue for a post-wedding party to celebrate with all of our friends a year later. Our experience working with the team at Mess Hall was completely wonderful from start to finish! When we first saw Mess Hall and met with Al, we knew we’d found the right place for our party. It was such a warm first meeting, just checking out the venue over a couple of beers, and we could totally picture ourselves and our friends in the cool, laid-back space. We knew right away that we could trust Al to help us pull off our vision for the party. A few months later, Mess Hall added their new event coordinator Jordan, who is absolutely wonderful. Great vibes from the entire team—incredibly supportive, willing to do anything to make our party perfect, and always at the ready with helpful suggestions when we needed them. The day of the party, we felt so loved and supported by everyone at Mess Hall while we collaborated on setting things up (Al personally helped us hang our neon sign and disco ball) and put the finishing touches on our vision. Jordan and Al both made sure everything went smoothly all night—and we have Jordan to personally thank for documenting the party on our polaroid camera! It was a perfect night and we can’t recommend Mess Hall highly enough!

We recently had our wedding at the Athenaeum in Old Town Alexandria, and it was a truly special occasion! The venue was just the right size for the wedding we wanted and the style made us think of the place we got engaged, on the Acropolis in Athens. The venue has a lovely indoor gallery space as well as a courtyard and we hat our ceremony outdoors and the reception indoors. A few things you should keep in mind if you are considering the Athenaeum: the space is on the small side, which we liked, but may not suffice for some weddings; you have to choose one of their recommended caterers or pay an added fee (though we were very happy with the caterers we went with and they knew exactly how the venue worked!); the venue does not include anything beyond the actual space, all vendors and services need to be hired separately. For us, this all worked out well and we felt our guests had a great time! The venue also makes for a beautiful backdrop for photos, just make sure to reserve the parking spaces in front of it. Our only minor issue was that the rental manager was not super responsive, but his coworker was, so it wasn't a problem in the end, I just didn't know who to reach out to at first. All in all, we are so happy we got to have our wedding at the Athenaeum! The art on display on the day was cheerful and modern and everything went according to plan. So excited to see more picture and relive the special day!

I’ve worked with Harmony Hall for the past 9 months to prepare for my wedding which happened yesterday without a problem! We got rained out so we had to move inside but everything was organized so beautifully that I am so happy we did it inside. There’s a whole building where everyone gets ready in so we don’t have to ever leave the venue! When the wedding was over and it was time for cocktail hour, Jill greeted us at the building we got ready in with drinks and a spread of appetizers so we could take a few minutes for ourselves. The staff was so helpful and attentive and Jill made sure to keep things running smoothly. They have their own catering and their food was delicious! There were so many options to choose from and everything came out fresh, hot, and delicious. There is absolutely nothing I would change about the experience here. They made my wedding memorable and I would recommend them to anyone I see.

My NYC-based family thought I was a little crazy when I told them we were getting married out in PA, but boy were they wow’d by the beauty of The Booking House. Words cannot express just how wonderful this venue is. From start-to-finish, we were/are absolutely over-the-moon about how our wedding day unfolded. First, everyone on The Booking House team is so kind and thoughtful. Brittany (sales director) was our first point-of-contact and was more than happy to answer my first set of 101 questions. J.P. (owner) warmly greeted us at 8 AM on a Sunday (with some champagne) and gave us a comprehensive tour of the space where he answered my next set of 101 questions. And the coordination team — Aalea, Autumn, and Emilie — were all amazing sounding boards over 18 months of very tedious planning. This entire team was always quick to respond and share recommendations — they kept a very Type A, out-of-state bride from feeling overwhelmed. Second, you can make this space 100% your own — it is truly a blank canvas. Every wedding at The Booking House is unique — definitely take a peek at their Instagram. Our wedding truly felt like OUR WEDDING versus some cookie-cutter event. I think we changed our vision 2 - 3 times before finally settling on the right style and it was actually… perfect. Every space/room looked even more beautiful than I could have possibly imagined. Third, opting into The Booking House coordinator add-on was the best investment we made. Aalea was an absolute rockstar early on, and Autumn was my source of calm from 3 months out until when we left the venue at 11 PM that night. She kept us on track along the way and made what could have been a very stressful 24 hours very not stressful. Even our parents and wedding party were so impressed with how on-top-of-things Autumn was — from the rehearsal, to the morning of, through the ceremony and reception. She managed the arrival of all our vendors and oversaw the execution of the entire venue experience while we were spending time with our loved ones. There were at least 3x on our wedding day where I told Autumn that I was just so grateful to have her there. If you choose to have your wedding at The Booking House, please make sure to hire their in-house coordinator so you can actually enjoy your big day. Our wedding was a literal dream come true. We had several guests tell us at and after our wedding that, “this was the best wedding I’ve ever been to.” I highly recommend this venue to couples who are not looking for a “same old, same old” catering hall, country club, or farm/barn wedding. So, I asked my fiancé at the time, if you know me then what you know about this place? He said, you like it because it has all those crystals and chandeliers! I instantly hit the contact us button. I began communicating with Pura who was very personable. I said OK let me go look at these reviews. I went on every page I knew that had reviews and they were 5-star no complaints. I said well let me book to go see it in person because pictures can be deceiving. We scheduled a tour of the event and when I tell you this place can't be touched with a 10 foot pole. I have not found a Venue yet that can TOP this one. From the time you walk in, to the ballrooms, the best dressing area and even the bathrooms are so clean you can eat off the food (not that you would but that's how clean and neat the place is). Pura thanks for all the phone messages day or night one thing for sure she was never too busy to get back with me. She was very accommodating. Farah the decor was gorgeous. Andrea thanks for pulling things together as the coordinator alongside Pura. Every time I visited; they made you feel welcomed. My family talked about the level of hospitality that you all provided at the rehearsal and wedding. They made sure all my vendors were in place to take the stress off of me on my wedding day. The overall service gives you royal and rich vibes.

We recently had our wedding at Bear Mill Estate. It's a truly beautiful venue and it exceeded all of our expectations. The grounds offer so many wonderful places to take photos. The cocktail/reception area have many unique spaces were guests could relax, dance, and socialize without getting stuck at their assigned tables. And we can't say enough good things about the day of coordinator, Troy, who was amazing at the usual wedding chaos (kids, dog, demanding guests, etc) but also kept our wedding together despite one difficult vendor. The Capital Jewish Museum is a beautiful venue with flexible event spaces and thoughtfully curated exhibits. The space is modern and well-appointed with AV, lighting and equipment including tables, chairs and bars. All are high quality and brand new! Event spaces throughout the Museum make for lots of different party plans - a spacious, open first floor would work nicely for a ceremony or program with cocktails on the open-air roof terrace and second floor with time to flip the ceremony space for dinner. Plenty of creative ways to design a lovely party! The events coordinator and the building team are outstanding - very responsive, flexible, and accommodating. Love the CJM team!

As a wedding photographer, I have worked with more than 100 wedding venues in the DC area. I had one of my best experiences at President Lincoln's Cottage. Every couple that I photograph at this location always tells me how happy they are with their choice. The background is so beautiful, the location is great and the team working on wedding days does a fantastic job with the vendors. The big plus of the venue is the parking available on-site, making all the logistics a lot easier than other venues in DC.
