About this venue
The Perfect Place to Say ‘I DO’! Schroyer’s Tavern, our restaurant and venue space, offers a unique venue with panoramic views of nearly every corner of the golf course. Complete with a stone fireplace, soft leather seating, full service bar, room for 175 guests and a first-class service staff, we are able to offer a space for groups both big and small which can be roomy while still very welcoming. In addition, our covered deck, which overlooks both the 1st tee and 18th green, is sure to be a favorite with our guests. Maryland National Golf Club can host ceremonies, as well. Our venue offers both indoor and outdoor spaces, where friends and family can come together and enjoy a beautiful atmosphere while celebrating your love.

Full Clubhouse
The Perfect Place to Say, "I Do!"
Our clubhouse is one large open room, with a two-story stone fireplace, tall ceilings and wooden beams, statement chandeliers, and tons of cherry accents. With our full clubhouse (the Original Schroyer’s Tavern and our new expanded area, referred to as the Overlook Room), we have seating for as many as 175 guests, with room for a buffet and dance floor. The Overlook Room adds a large sun-room style area, oversized windows, and tons of natural light to your Big Day.

On our main level, the Overlook Room can hold as many as 50 guests, with many different layouts to best suit your group and needs. With private and semi-private options available, the space is perfect to host an event unique to you! Lined with windows, this space offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, and serves as the perfect backdrop for your function. From baby showers to rehearsal dinners, and birthdays to retirement parties, the Overlook Room is a great option for all!

Our backyard patio is conveniently located to the clubhouse, for easy access both for guests and service staff. The area is beautifully landscaped, to take full advantage of the views of the Middletown Valley and to incorporate color throughout. The concrete-and-railroad-tie design also allows you to take full advantage of the outdoors, without concerns of mud for sinking heels or your gorgeous gown!

Our perfect day!
Maryland National Golf Club was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the moment we met Reghan and her team, we were impressed by their punctual communication, caring approach, and creative vision. They truly brought our wedding day vision to life with our colors and decorative centerpieces that made the spacious and comfortable venue feel so warm and inviting. Reghan provided excellent guidance and care throughout the planning process, listening to every detail and idea we had. We cannot recommend Maryland National Golf Club enough - their affordable pricing and attention to making our special day perfect makes them a 1,000% amazing venue to book!
A Hidden Gem: Great Location, Value and Service
From the very beginning, the team at Maryland National Golf Club was a dream to work with. The communication with Reghan, the events manager, was always responsive, detailed, and thorough, putting our minds at ease throughout the planning process. She was simply a delight to work with and handled every detail with such ease and professionalism, ensuring our reception went off without a hitch. On the day of our wedding, the venue, Schroyer's Tavern, was absolutely lovely. The Overlook Room, with its oversized windows, provided an inviting and picturesque backdrop for our intimate reception following our church wedding. The staff were remarkable in making all of our guests feel welcomed and attended to, as many of them remarked afterwards. Compared to similar venues in the area, their event packages are extremely reasonable. We couldn't have asked for a better location and team to help make our special day so memorable.
Our Dream Wedding - Truly Unforgettable!
Maryland National was the PERFECT venue for our wedding! From the very beginning, Reghan and the whole team were incredible. Reghan went above and beyond to help us plan everything – she was so easy to work with and always had the best recommendations. I loved how easy it was to communicate with her through email. We got married at our church, but had the reception at Maryland National. They even let us use the club to get ready since our church didn't have a space! The girls got ready upstairs, and the guys used the locker rooms, which was amazing for getting-ready photos. Plus, the food was delicious! What we loved most was that we didn't have to set up or clean up anything – Maryland National took care of it all. We didn't even have to take decorations home the night of the wedding! We could pick them up the next day. It was the most perfect day, and we can't thank Reghan and the staff enough. Seriously, if you're looking for an amazing venue, this is it!
Great Venue!
Alyssa and her team at MD National have always been awesome! Weddings at their venue run smoothly, the food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. As a photographer, I love the views that MD National has to offer! We do get the best sunsets in the Middletown Valley! I highly encourage you to book your wedding at Maryland National!
