About this venue
Ostertag Vistas is proud to present one of the most enchanting, magical and private properties located near Camp David for your special day with a dazzling restored bank barn with three historic landmarked buildings – wonderful options for your guests to explore! With four dressing locations including an elegant suite as well as the carriage house with a slot machine, dart board, kitchenette and fishing pond, all your guests will feel welcomed and accommodated. The 164 acres of meadows, streams, trees, open manicured farmland and wilderness surround you and your guests with the wonderful sounds and beauty nature has provided. The barn is a magical space offering elegance with twinkling lights and drapery. Any location can be chosen for an outdoor ceremony. However popular locations include the old log cabin, Fernwoods, amphitheater and indoor stable. Then proceed to the stable for cocktail hour using one of four bar locations!

Barn Great Room
A voluminous space with soaring wood beams and ceiling with a loft, chandelier and cascading drapery and lights everywhere!
Dance floor and food available in an adjacent space as well as dressing areas, restrooms, and space for an indoor bar close by with all spaces heated. Painted floors by local artist and train through entire space.

Barn Stable
A stable with beautifully painted floors and stone walls with train perfect for an intimate ceremony or cocktail hour
This space features 2,000 square feet of space perfect for guests to enter, sign a book or drop off a card and then enter for a beautiful ceremony or congregate with guests before a ceremony. A bar room is available on the adjacent paver patio also perfect for an outdoor ceremony.... Temperature controlled with restrooms close at hand.... Some enjoy being indoors while others love to enjoy the outdoors, field games and watching the sun set...

Bridal Area
The bridal area consists of three spaces for active dressing, hair and makeup and an informal meal or photo opportunities before the ceremony!
The bridal area is one of four dressing options including a fully-renovated space for active dressing with full bath and double vanity, a balcony with new vanities with mirrors and power stations used for hair and makeup and a sky loft used for informal meals as the bridal party is getting ready with a photographer, etc. A perfect space for a first look with parents or fiancé!

The carriage house presents a large, temperature-controlled space with outdoor seating, bar, kitchenette with full bath and separate dressing area. Equipped with slot machine, dart board, Pac Man machine, other games and fun activities to do, this space is perfect for those wanting to 'spread out' and enjoy quality time together. Some enjoy fishing at the pond before coming inside to dress and some enjoy a tail gating party before the ceremony begins while watching the latest game!

Magic at Ostertag
From our first conversation with Donna at Ostertag Vistas, we knew we had found our venue. She was quick to respond to our questions and made the whole planning process feel personal and easy. When we arrived for rehearsal, the reception area was already decorated and it completely took my breath away—every detail we had discussed was executed perfectly. The property offers so many location options that we could envision any bride's dream wedding coming to life there. The rustic and elegant atmosphere felt magical, and we have to credit Donna's day-of coordination services for making our special day run seamlessly. We fully recommend hiring their coordination team and choosing Ostertag Vistas for your wedding.

Beautiful Venue, Amazing staff
We can't say enough about how happy we are in having chosen Ostertag as our wedding venue. The grounds are stunning, with various places around the site for ceremonies, photo ops, celebrations, preparation, and beyond. The staff was fantastic to work with. Donna was so kind and flexible, and Terry, our coordinator, was on top of every detail. She helped us make the day exactly what we wanted, and was accommodating to any request to help us customize our multi-cultural wedding day. We chose to have our dinner/reception in the stable, which created the exact cozy and intimate vibe we were going for. Communication was efficient and thorough. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a spot in the DMV area. Thank you for making our day so special!

Celebration of Life
Ostertag Vistas was the perfect venue for our special celebration of life. From the moment we first reached out, the team, especially Jessie, was incredibly informative and helpful in guiding us through the planning process. On the day of the event, everything went so smoothly thanks to their attentive service. The venue itself has a cozy, rustic feel with grand views that created a truly memorable atmosphere for our gathering. Although I did not use this venue for a wedding, I could easily see how a wedding day would be just as special and memorable there. Beautiful Celebration of Life at Ostertag Vistas!
Ostertag Vistas was the perfect venue for a Celebration of Life for our mother. From the moment we first spoke with Donna, the owner, we were impressed by her warmth, accessibility, and understanding of our unique needs. The venue itself is truly gorgeous, with an expansive barn and grounds that offered us many options to bring our vision to life. The family-owned farm is a labor of love, and you can feel the passion they have for sharing this breathtaking scenery with all who visit. Our event was not a traditional wedding, but Donna was open to our ideas and helped us create a day that was a wonderful tribute to our mother. Our Special Day
Our wedding at Ostertag Vistas exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutely incredible and just what we were looking for. The views from every angle are beautiful and stunning. Donna was our day of coordinator and was always where we needed her to be and when we needed her.
