Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum was an amazing venue for my twin daughters' 16th birthday! It was a beautiful setting that they both agreed on and was perfect for all their activities. We also kind of planned their sweet 16 a little late and Katelyn from Landis Valley Museum was so help with getting everything taking care of so we could have the party on the date I wanted for them. Then on the day of the party Katelyn was there again and she was so helpful. She even helped us set up just so things were ready on time for the party. I also loved that I could bring in my own food and DJ. I was so grateful for everything at Landis Valley museum. The place was beautiful, the staff was help, there was room for everything, and the price was good if you are on a budget. I would recommend this place to everyone.

The sunset theme was so pretty along with the lemonade bar 😋 Everyone was so nice, welcoming, and definitely had a great time. I'm so glad your girls had a wonderful 16th birthday! I hope you all are doing well and enjoying Summer! Katelyn

    Perfect!

I had a baby shower in the firehouse building. It was absolutely perfect! We got so many compliments on the venue. They were so flexible with us, including our guest count, the food we brought, decorations, etc. They had an event coordinator for us which was extremely helpful as well. She helped us set up and clean up. Leading up to the baby shower, she answered any of my questions in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend having your event here! It was a perfect day for us.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Lizzie! I loved seeing your family come together and celebrate for your baby shower. Everyone was so nice and made me feel like apart of your family 🥰 The local flowers, decorated cookies, tea and coffee bar, and balloons really brought the space together for a perfect day! I hope you and your twins are doing well! Katelyn

    Best barn/farm wedding venue

Landis Valley is a gorgeous venue if you like the rustic farm vibe. Cool old buildings, plenty of outdoor spaces, such a unique place. We got married there in September and it was so perfect—the weather, the beautiful grounds, the flowers and trees, the animals—it was exactly what we envisioned, and it made for some incredible photos! Speaking of, this place has soooo many cool photo spots. Luckily, our photographer David Naples had shot there before so he knew exactly where to go and got tons of amazing photos (if your photog has not shot there, insist they scout it before hand). The team at Landis was very helpful and easy to work with, especially Katelyn, the venue coordinator. She helped us so much with planning and answered every question, it was a huge weight lifted off us. We cannot thank her enough! Highly recommend this venue for a rustic DIY wedding.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Lukas! It was truly an honor to work with you and Caitlin for your wedding day. You were such an easy going couple, and I loved seeing your day come together! Your decorations with the flowers, mums, and pumpkins really brought the space alive. My favorite part was to hear you sing, Lukas! What a wonderful surprise for Caitlin and your guests ❤️ I hope you both are doing well! Katelyn

    Above and Beyond!

I fell in love with this venue when I was a little girl. It was magical to me then, and is still magical to me now as an adult. My husband and I had the best experience with Landis Valley Museum. We were married in the Yellow Barn. The weather was iffy, but our day of attendant Katelyn was on top of it and kept an eye on the weather to make the final call of whether or not we were doing our rain plan. We were so lucky to be able to stick to our original plan. The barn is so beautiful that we didn't need to go overboard with decorations. We just made simple centerpieces that looked more beautiful simply because of the venue and its lighting. If you like rustic, this is the venue for you. They are so organized and will make sure they do everything they can to help make your day perfect.

    Absolute perfect wedding/reception backdrop!

Landis Valley Farm & Museum was the absolute perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception! We knew when we were looking at venues that we wanted it in a barn setting and for the place to have a laid-back, fun, and casual feel. Landis was exactly that and more! Not only is the site maintained with the utmost care, but every building at the farm is so exquisitely quaint and beautifully rustic. Such a gorgeous place as a whole, especially for pictures during our big day. We knew during our very first meeting with Katelyn, our venue coordinator, that we were in good hands. Katelyn was experienced, professional, knowledgeable, and available by email at what seemed like the drop of a hat for all of our questions, big or small, leading up to our day. She was extremely organized and clear on expectations of what we should anticipate in having an event here. Like for example, making it clear from the day we scoped out the venue that it is an a la carte type venue, and we would be responsible for reaching out to all vendors that we would want to hire. She did provide a list of vendors that past weddings had used, which was extremely helpful, and we were lucky to find a few from that list, along with the others that we researched on our own. Katelyn’s attentiveness even the week of our wedding was so comforting. Along with our day of coordinator (that we hired from Fancy Peacock), Katelyn assisted in executing a check-in schedule for all of our vendors the day of, and everything went so smoothly! Landis does provide two attendants, one during the day and one night, who oversee the property - thanks, Dave and Elliot! Overall, if you don’t mind some DIY, and finding most vendors on your own like my husband and I, Landis makes for a dream come true wedding venue!
