About this venue

Located in the rolling hills in south central Pennsylvania, The Granary at Peach Glen offers a rustic and beautiful scene for any wedding celebrations. Views of the South Mountain Appalachian Ridge and surrounding apple orchards provide the perfect backdrop. Couples can use the many locations on the property to exchange vows including the original barn stone foundation. The landscape around the historic Granary allows for cocktails and receptions, while the wedding party takes advantage of the many photo opportunities on the property. In 1902, Elmer Thomas and his wife purchased the plot of land right off Peach Glen Road in Gardners, Pennsylvania. Here they settled and built their family home, while farming and harvesting the surrounding land. The Thomas family has continuously worked to restore and bring the property back to life. We are honored to have such a beautiful and historic piece of history still within the family to share with you for your special day.

After you have exchanged vows, the original granary is a fitting location for any reception. Complete with cocktail tables, chairs, and a fire pit you and your guests can mingle as the sun sets over the horizon.

Description

You work with your own vendors for catering and DJ's or we can assist with suggestions. Our venue offers a fully customizable experience. You choose your location on the property for your ceremony as well as the reception. The package includes the venue fee, tables, chairs, linens, and facilities. You have access to the property the entire weekend of your wedding from Thursday through Sunday. Included in our package is also a bridal and groomsmen suite.

5 stars is not enough to rate this venue. My husband and I got married August 30th at The Granary at Peach Glen. When I started planning for the wedding, I was scared to start looking for venues because I knew they could get pricey fast, and I didn’t know who would have the accommodations we were looking for. After doing some research, The Granary was the first venue we went to look at. We automatically fell in love with the venue. But what made this venue stand out from the others was how affordable it was, and the fact that we could rent the venue from Thursday-Sunday. They also offer a bridal suite on site. With my 5 bridesmaids, the bridal suite was more than large enough to have us all get ready at the same time, and set up beautifully. The icing on the cake was the owner Lisa and her husband Dale. Upon meeting them for the first time, they immediately felt like family. Their hospitality was like no other, and on our wedding day their whole family helped out around the venue. Lisa drove me in her own car to where I wanted to be dropped off at the ceremony to make sure nobody saw me on my way there. The bustle on my dress wasn’t cooperating at one point, and the daughter in law came running over to me and helped get it pinned back up. The family helped the guests park so we didn’t have to worry about that. I could go on and on about how helpful they were. The whole family made our wedding day go so smooth, not because they had to, but you could genuinely tell it was because they wanted to. I am forever grateful for them, and I honestly cannot recommend this venue enough.

My daughter and son-in-law were married at The Granary at Peach Glen on August 30th, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the entire experience was. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the venue, and everything was absolutely perfect. The scenery is stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and the ideal backdrop for such a special day. We were also lucky to have beautiful weather, which made the whole setting feel even more magical. What truly made the day exceptional was the incredible staff, especially Lisa and Dale. They were warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. You could tell they genuinely cared about making the day stress-free and memorable for everyone involved. Their support and organization allowed us to fully enjoy the moment without worry. As a parent, watching your child get married is such an emotional and meaningful event—and having it at a venue like The Granary made it all the more unforgettable. I would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run venue with a personal touch.

The Granary at Peach Glen is an absolute gem for any couple's wedding day. The venue owners were efficient, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process - not only for the couple, but for all of the other vendors as well. They made sure that everyone was taken care of and that the day ran smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful, with a rustic and cozy barn setting overlooking a golden field. I would highly recommend The Granary to anyone who asks - the combination of the stunning location and the wonderful team made the wedding day truly perfect.
