From any viewpoint, guests can overlook the historic property through a wall of glass doors.

Our wedding packages include a four-hour reception. The first hour will be your cocktail hour, then the following three hours will be for dinner service, dancing, and other wedding formalities such as cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc. Couples have the option of extending the reception to five (5) hours for an additional fee.
To extend your four-hour reception, a fifth hour can be purchased at a rate of $12 per person for the Merryman House Bar, $16 per person for the Bosley Premium Bar, or $5 per person for a non-alcoholic bar (applicable taxes and service charges will apply).
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, and an elevator that can be used to access the restrooms on the lower level of the clubhouse. Two single restrooms are located on the main level of the Clubhouse.
Ballroom access for set up begins at 12:00 pm on the day of the wedding. Pending any events the night prior, this time may change as the date approaches. Should the couple require additional set up time (i.e the day prior), there may be an additional fee to reserve the space.
Hayfields Country Club must provide all food and beverage (with the exception of Wedding Cakes and additional desserts). We are unable to accommodate outside catering due to limited space availability and our health permit issued by Baltimore County. If your event will require special culinary considerations (i.e kosher meals), please speak to your Sales Manager to make accommodations.
Access to all available event spaces to include: Ballroom, Garden Patio (for ceremony or cocktail hour), Vista Patio, Mansion, Bridal Suite and Groom's Suite. All tables, silverware and flatware are included along with table cloths (white or ivory), and banquet chairs.
Cutting the cake is a complimentary service with our Wedding Packages. After the ceremonial cut takes place, our staff will move it to the back of the house kitchen area and cut the remainder. We will then serve it to your guests by either placing it at their setting, or on a buffet display, so they select the flavor they would like. This will be up to your discretion.
Hayfields offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony space. For outdoor ceremonies, we have The Garden Patio, which overlooks the picturesque Driving Range and golf course. Hayfields provides Fruitwood colored ceremony chairs for $4.00 per chair. If you elect to have an indoor ceremony, it will take place in the ballroom. Your fully-set guest tables will be hidden by an airwall, located within the adjacent space. Once the ceremony concludes, guests will move to cocktail hour and Hayfields staff will “flip” the room to the reception. If you elect to do an indoor ceremony, our standard banquet chairs will be used.
Hayfields does provide a menu of food and beverage offerings for you to enjoy while you are getting dressed for the event. All food and beverages must be provided by Hayfields. Any outside food or beverage (aside from individual coffees) found will be removed immediately. On the day of the event, you have until 2 hours prior to the start of cocktail hour to request additional beverages/items. Should anything outside of the “Getting Ready” Menu be requested, (i.e cocktails), guests may order from The Redwood Grill and are responsible for paying for and picking up the items.
Hayfields Country Club does not have sufficient inventory to provide your event with matching décor. This includes votives, candles, centerpieces, florals, etc.
A taxable service charge of 23% and Maryland State Sales Tax of 6% on Food and 9% on alcohol is not included in the package pricing. There is also a Venue Rental fee of $3,500 (not taxed) that includes all of the space needed for your event. Additional charges such as additional bartender, station chef, ceremony chairs, etc. will be added according to final details submitted.
If you are having a Hayfields Country Club reception, we are happy to be the backdrop for your engagement photos! Check with your Sales Manager to coordinate.
Your initial, non-refundable deposit is due with the signed contract. Your final payment and guest count will be due 10 business days before your event.
The service charge is not a gratuity. It is used to pay our staff wages. Often our clients do present tips for outstanding service. Any voluntary tips that you choose to offer in addition are very much appreciated.
