Cottage First Floor

The best way for your guest to see the Cottage!

Ideal for receptions and dinners of up to 120 guests, the First Floor features the inviting drawing room, dining room, parlor, library and adjoining outdoor spaces. The mature magnolia, beautiful landscaping, and vista provide a setting of which even the discerning Mary Lincoln would approve. Following a seated ceremony on the expansive South Lawn, guests may enjoy drinks from an outdoor bar, roam the rooms of this historic house, and enjoy an enchanting dinner inside or under the stars.

    As a wedding photographer, I have worked with more than 100 wedding venues in the DC area. I had one of my best experiences at President Lincoln's Cottage. Every couple that I photograph at this location always tells me how happy they are with their choice. The background is so beautiful, the location is great and the team working on wedding days does a fantastic job with the vendors. The big plus of the venue is the parking available on-site, making all the logistics a lot easier than other venues in DC.
