About The Wheeler Photo, LLC

Jordan Wheeler

Lead Photographer and Business Owner

I am a 25 year-old newly wed who is passionate about seeking the beauty unveiled in authentic, candid moments. My inspiration comes from wanting to capture the memories you will never forget in a way that reminds you why you will never forget them.

There are two phrases every client loves: 1. "I'm awkward." 2. "Good luck getting good pictures of me." Most people hate having their picture taken, but it's only because when a camera shows up, they forget how to be themselves. My entire goal is to capture the most authentic you. When I arrive at a shoot, my first move is to help you feel and look like yourself in a way that boosts your confidence and makes you feel your best! Comfort is key, and I am here to help capture that.

An absolute joy to work with!

Jordan was an absolute pleasure with work with. I was the day of coordinator for a wedding she was photographing. From start to finish she made sure the brides needs, and mine, were met. Right off the bat, she introduced herself and got to work. She flowed so effortlessly into the day, it was like she was made to be part of the wedding day team. It was such a relief, knowing she didn’t need any direction from me. We communicated throughout the night and no matter the schedule change, she was ready with her camera to capture every special moment. I will be recommending her to all my brides. Jordan is so well seasoned in the photographer field that she made sure that every moment she captured, she only had to capture once. This made sure pictures didn’t take to much time out of the day so everyone including the bride and groom enjoyed their day. She made sure to incorporate every aspect of the wedding within her work as well, no matter how small. I would recommend to her anyone needing photos, no matter the event, due to the fact of how effortless she made everything seem.

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
Typically, couples book me about 12-24 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening.
Yes! I am more than happy to travel for your wedding/engagement session. I do charge the standard IRS business travel fee for trips that are 400mi or less from my main hub (Columbia, SC), and anything further requires a consultation as prices vary depending on need.
Sometimes! For 6 hour weddings, I pay my own assistant, though they are included in the vendor meal head count. Second shooters are included in my 8-10 hour wedding packages, and must also be included in the vendor head count for food.
In my 3.5 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or a suitable associate. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
I require 30% non-refundable deposits for all session types, including weddings. That deposit is due within 7 days of receiving an invoice and your date is held during those 7 days. After that, the remainder of the payment is due 3 months before your event. I have a short booking notice policy for those who book within 3 weeks of their session/event.
YES.
Yes, it is in my contract that I, and any assistants from my team, be provided a meal and brief 30 minute break during a wedding day.
Yes yes YES! I value my consultations so much. It's great to be able to sit face to face (or screen to screen) and hear out your questions, get to know you a little better, and spend time feeling out if we are a good fit! Fill out my contact form to set one up.
You have printing, publishing, and sharing rights for personal use only. You do not have editing rights or the right to sell or profit off of the images in any way. This includes your vendors.
All are welcome here, buddies!
I love couples who are authentically, joyfully in love, and ready to celebrate that! I'm a sucker for a fall color scheme and vintage, boho, rustic vibe, but I will work with whatever you bring to the table!
I fall somewhere in between fine art, editorial, and documentary style photography. I love lots and lots of movement and have spent years perfecting my instructions and prompts so that you and your partner feel comfortable and real in front of the camera. We play games, tell jokes, and all around have a good time so that you're more busy enjoying yourself than you are stressing about your hands.
