“Josh is the absolute BEST DJ and will completely bring together your whole wedding day and make it amazing. I knew I wanted Josh at my dj for my wedding as soon as I saw his instagram page - he creates the best mixes and plays the best songs and really knows how to read the room and determine which songs to play. He creates the ultimate mixes and mash ups, but also listens to you with what you want. His app is detailed so he makes sure your special day goes exactly as planned. He is also readily available whenever you need him for anything. My wedding had a good mix ages (older and younger guests), but he truly has EVERYONE on the dance floor the entire night. I have not stopped hearing all of the compliments from my guests about Josh, about how awesome his skills and mixes were and about how amazing the music was and how he really knew how to engage the crowd. He also has a great set up with lights, a custom dj booth with a screen that you can modify to put your name and also have a slideshow during dinner. It is very aesthetically pleasuring. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“Every time someone asks me what the highlight of our wedding was, I laugh — because as much as I loved each moment that I spent with my new husband, the real answer is THE BAND. From the second those opening chords of “Hot To Go” hit, I genuinely felt like I had died and gone to heaven. The energy was unreal. The dance floor was packed, the vibe was electric, and it was everything I had dreamed of and more. The lead singers were not only exceptionally talented, but also so kind, warm, and gracious. You know him as DJ Casanova, but around the office, we just call him Jamie. Back in the day, he was just a child of immigrants recording his favorite songs over his parent’s cassette tapes (sorry Mom and Dad) so he could listen to them on his prized Walkman. Jamie entered the DJ field in 2009, and before long he was spinning something at a different party every week. Pretty soon he realized that sharing his love of music with like-minded folks was more than just a hobby, it was a gift.

“Jamie was one of our favorite vendors to work with! He was professional, kind, thoughtful, and never made me feel like my questions or requests were too much. We worked so well together, and I had so much fun collaborating with him on music decisions and making amazing playlists for every part of the wedding. He even helped with special requests, such as altering some of the music we were going to use and make them appropriate for certain parts of our wedding. We were a little nervous about blending my vibrant Nigerian culture with Ben's family's background for a truly unified party. We needed a DJ who could be a cultural translator, a party starter, and a vibe curator. DJ Don X exceeded every expectation. From our initial consultation, he was invested. Jordan was amazing during the entire planning process, he always replied in a timely manner and made every little request I had seem like no biggie and made it happen! He provides access to an online portal (extremely cool!!) which gives you the opportunity to give him a general idea of the type of music you want and keeps things extremely organized...Now more importantly, he literally had the crowd on the dance floor the ENTIRE time... and I’m not exaggerating. (People were texting me days later that they’re sore from dancing the whole night!) He is able to read the crowd and deliver. Its been a few months since the wedding and I STILL receive compliments about the DJ - how incredible the music was and how awesome his lighting work was. “We are very happy with the service we received from Jay Stylez. We used him as a DJ for our daughter’s Quinceañera/ Sweet 16 birthday party. He engaged us early with regard to the schedule and the style of music and any special requests. He agreed to MC the event and gave our daughter every option she requested. He was committed to making sure the event was special. He did everything in his power to make it a memorable for the birthday girl and her guests. He planned ahead, he was early, dressed appropriately, actively engaged venue staff which made things so much easier for us. He engaged our guests regarding musical requests and to make the mood festive. Throughout the event he kept the energy level appropriate but upbeat. He kept the young folks and the old ones the dance floor. We had grandma and grandpa out there dancing with the great grandchildren. Finally, his price was reasonable. It was a fantastic event and we could not recommend Jay Stylez more highly.”
