I seriously could. not. recommend. her. enough. Bria was an absolute sweetheart and so quick to respond to any questions we had. Our day flowed so smoothly because of her. We were hesitant to invest into a coordinator, but with our wedding being out of state, we didn't want the stress. She made sure our dreams came true and handled any hiccups like a champ without me even realizing things went differently till after the day was over. During my planning process, she did not hesitate to help me with certain situations if they came up. She seriously was such a light and calm energy when we needed it. Don't want the stress and a positive influence on your big day? Hire her! If we had the budget we would have definitely hired her for more then just day-of.

Stumptown Djs

I love my job. For me, it’s kind of two-fold. One amazing part of the job is knowing that you are part of a couple’s most memorable day of their life—and assuming it goes well, they will remember you for it for the rest of their life. The other part is that I get to run a business and listen to music—two of my deepest passions. So running a DJ company mashes it all together in one great package.

Awarded Best of Zola
DJ Steven and Stumptown were excellent! DJ Steven, while being a Tier 2 DJ, was more like a Tier 10! We really wanted a fun and populated dancefloor at our wedding and DJ Steven delivered! He was great at reading the crowd and playing songs that got everyone on their feet. He also surprised us by bringing a bubble gun, lights, and a 360 cam. What was most spectacular was that DJ Steven also created a special mix for our first dance so that we could do a fun choreographed dance to it. Our guests absolutely loved it, and we couldn’t be more thankful to Steven for making it happen. He helped us select songs for all phases of the wedding and was able to really set the mood throughout the entire event. We received numerous compliments from guests about how the wedding was so upbeat and had an awesome party atmosphere; DJ Steven was a large part of that! Stumptown and DJ Steven were very organized and all wedding details were easy to communicate via their portal. We asked a lot from them, and they definitely delivered an amazing event. Big thanks to DJ Steven and Stumptown DJ’s!

We absolutely loved having our 55-person wedding at Bar Carlo. The owner Mel is at the same time very supportive and very low-key, which made for a smooth planning process and day-of event. The space is gorgeous, and has multiple connected wings, which allowed for the the party to morph seamlessly over the night from barside cocktail hour to outdoor patio ceremony to dinner buffet to dance floor. The space is already a beautifully decorated artwork, and Mel lets you decide how to arrange the space for your event, but you can also bring your own decorations/sound system/llama and she can handle those additions easily. The food and drinks were delicious too, and Mel was able to accommodate our entirely vegan and gluten-free menu without hesitation. Overall we loved the unique-ness, flexibility and good vibes of the space and the people of Bar Carlo, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cute and fun space for their wedding or other event. -Nicola & Lou

JR Music Collective

JR Music Collective got its start with the simple idea of live music and DJ service from one vendor caught on across the region and the company began adding more musician/DJs to its roster. Oregon Bride Magazine first recognized JR Music Collective with an award in 2013. The collective has gone on to win awards every year since. We have a talented group of musicians and DJs waiting to make your day wonderful.

Hands down, JR Music Collective provided the best experience we could have asked for from a DJ. Everyone we worked with was extremely professional, and every step along the planning process felt seamless and easy because of their attention to detail. We had John, the owner, as our DJ and really felt taken care of along the entire way; he even learned a song on the guitar to perform for us during our first dance! Thank you, JR team! We will definitely hire you again if there are any further DJ needs!

Hi, I'm Georgy Shishkin — a wedding and elopement photographer with over 19 years of experience capturing love stories in breathtaking landscapes. Based in Oregon, I photograph weddings across the Pacific Northwest, California, and British Columbia. My background in photojournalism taught me how to anticipate real emotion, while my years in wedding photography taught me how to guide and support couples in front of the camera. I love helping people who’ve never modeled before feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely connected. Every story is personal to me — I’m not just your photographer, I’m your teammate throughout the day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Georgy is such an amazing photographer. He is really easy to work with and is flexible. When needing help to find locations, he would put in the time to help find a few and suggest them. We aren’t very photogenic. Georgy would help and teach us how to pose and stand. Very grateful for him to fix us during our photoshoots. I’d say, Georgy is very dedicated in his work. During our engagement photoshoot, he arrived early to the location scouting out perfect areas and snap a few pictures to test. Also, on the day of our wedding, the original location did not work out as planned. Georgy thought quickly on his feet and suggested another location that wasn’t too far away. We are so glad to have Georgy capture our special day for us! Thank you Georgy for your hard work and dedication!

I am a Portland native through and through! My love for photography rivals only my love of traveling. My interest in photography began at a young age, thanks to my Uncle and 8th grade math teacher. After over 18 years of experience, I have mastered the art of putting my clients at ease and creating an environment for them to be present and most importantly be themselves. I have a deep passion for not only the images I create but for the people I work with. I truly consider it an honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day and the images we create together become reflective memories for the couple, not just snapshots in time.

Our wedding was this past Saturday (06.13.2026) at Wind Mountain Ranch and Brooke and the Luxe team absolutely exceeded expectations. Although the investment felt steep at times during planning, it was well worth the cost. Brooke navigated all the fine details, helped flawlessly coordinate the best vendors, and made an amazing day absolutely magical. She helped move things along in the planning process when things got stressful and was even able to manage my mother who had differing design opinions and direction to create something we were both happy with. She listened to everything we wanted, helped us stay in budget, and executed a detailed agenda with grace. Luxe is the real deal and the event ended up better than I could have dreamed of. On top of all of that, Brooke even sent some photos and videos via text following the wedding which I appreciated so much as we await the professional shots. Absolutely 1000% would recommend the Luxe team for your wedding and events! Photos by Summer Grace Photography

Shooting with them literally feels like hanging with your best friends. They were an absolute joy from start to finish, but it was Sharayah’s attention to detail and artistic eye that impressed me above all else. It was inspiring to feel like we were all creating art together, and the photos don’t lie! Our engagement shoot went viral on Instagram, and we got hundreds of comments saying, “these are literally the best engagement photos I’ve ever seen.” I too, agree with that sentiment, but I have to give credit to Hereafter’s vision and execution because they NAILED it. As a team, they’re both extremely communicative and organized, professional yet relaxed in the way they interacted with us and our guests. No one has ever made me feel so comfortable in front of a camera. Additionally, their digital color grading is meticulously adjusted to match 35mm film with incredibly accuracy. They perfectly captured the magic of our special day. We booked them for the whole package - engagement shoot, wedding photos, and wedding video with super 8 film. Their understanding of my vision was remarkable…Hereafter managed to romanticize every single detail in a profound way. The photos are so special to us because each one feels like a standalone piece of art. They went above and beyond for us in every capacity, even going so far as to drive me to the venue on my wedding day when things ran late! We cannot recommend Hereafter Films highly enough. If you are reading this, this is your sign to hire Lauren of Love Bug Pictures for your big day! I have a lot to say so I've split this review into 3 parts: 1. Lauren's Talent and Professional Background I am a filmmaker and have an MFA in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. As shooting my own wedding seemed like not a realistic option, I began my search online for that special someone. We didn't want some cheesy video of us we would cringe to watch, we wanted something fun, poetic, energizing...something that captures our spirit and excitement as our new family carves our own path. I searched and I searched through many a teary-eyed traditional "I do" before stumbling onto Lauren's work. When I was searching for someone to capture our wedding, I wanted someone who not only had talent, but who had that "thing." That special sauce of vision, creativity, humour, and excellent vibes. In a wedding-obsessed culture, I wanted someone who saw the humanity in it all – the mess, the chaos, the humour, the real-lifeness. Lauren is the whole package. Not only is she a blast to work with, but she also has a passion for storytelling, which shines through in her incredible body of work. She has a background in documentary film and truly knows her stuff. Her eye for capturing real moments and weaving them into a story is beautiful, touching, and often hilarious. 2. Our experience with Lauren Our relationship with Lauren went the distance! As many a pandemic wedding couple experienced, our wedding date was postponed. Lauren was incredibly flexible and gracious and worked with us as we found our new date, a year later. Beyond that, Lauren brought her unique vision and shared our excitement. Lauren truly BROUGHT IT on our wedding weekend. She is energetic, observant, self-sufficient, and an absolute pleasure to be around. Technically, she is also skilled: Lauren had a drone, a Super 8 Camera, her own lighting and audio set up...list goes on. Let's just say I was very impressed. With Lauren and her camera around, I felt like we were in super good hands (and as I am a film micro-manager and true creative I felt I could relinquish creative control to Lauren and that all would be okay). Trusting Lauren to do her own thing was the best thing and we were rewarded by this trust, because our video is spectacular. 3. The final video I sometimes watch the film Lauren made and just stare at it in awe. I can't believe it's our video. It's so perfect in every way. From the music, to the edits, all of it is superb. Do yourself a favour and book Lauren and tell her Paisley sent ya! :)

Andy brings so much joy and energy to the planning process and she is incredibly organized. We had some pretty kooky DIY ideas for our wedding, and she was totally on board from day one! Instead of trying to steer us toward a cookie-cutter event, she gave us great advice on how to actually pull our ideas off logistically. On the day of, she and her team managed all those moving parts effortlessly. We couldn't have done it without Double A Weddings!

Hello! I'm Robert. This is me. Let me tell you a bit about who I am and what I do. Love for photography, I am very passionate about working with my camera. If I am creating a little photo for myself that is never seen publicly or a project for a client, I put everything I have into making the photography I create as best I possibly can. Every click of the shudder is an opportunity for creating amazing photography. Every photo-shoot has options for photographs waiting to be found. Solving these puzzles with my camera and lighting is a lot of fun for me. I believe you can see that also. That's why you are here looking at my work now.

We cannot recommend Robert at Modern Art Photography highly enough! Choosing him as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning, Robert was professional, reliable, and incredibly easy to work with. He has an amazing eye for authentic moments, and that's exactly what drew us to his style. Instead of making us feel like we were constantly posing, he stayed in the background for much of the day, allowing us to simply be ourselves. He would offer gentle guidance or a cue here and there when needed, but everything felt natural, relaxed, and genuine. Because of his approach, our photos truly capture who we are as a couple. They feel candid, emotional, and full of real moments rather than stiff or overly posed. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the day exactly as it happened, and that's something we'll treasure forever. Robert is also very reasonably priced for the quality of work he delivers. His equipment is top-notch, his professionalism is outstanding, and he was dependable throughout the entire process. We were also impressed with how quickly he delivered our photos—the turnaround time exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a photographer who captures authentic, heartfelt moments and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, Robert is the one. We absolutely love our wedding photos and are so grateful we chose Modern Art Photography. Highly, highly recommend!

The Baker Building is a truly unique wedding venue with so much vintage charm and character. The building itself has numerous cute corners for great portraits, it is located in a fun neighborhood, and has a great facade. There is also lovely landscaping around the immediate building that provides a variety of backdrop options for photos. Peninsula Park is only a couple of blocks away as well. The space itself is incredibly versatile and can be transformed to fit any couple's vision. I have photographed several events here and always excited to go back.
