We've got options. Bar Carlo is a unique venue that has multiple spaces for mingling. Guests at the bar can spill out into the outdoor, covered space on our very wide sidewalk on a warm night while groups chat on our plush couches and others snack out of view. We even have a covered alley for overflow guests, kid's zone, smoking section, piñatas, dance party, you name it. With a full bar and kitchen, Bar Carlo is a perfect photo-ready relaxed steal.

We loved getting married at Bar Carlo!!!!
We absolutely loved having our 55-person wedding at Bar Carlo. The owner Mel is at the same time very supportive and very low-key, which made for a smooth planning process and day-of event. The space is gorgeous, and has multiple connected wings, which allowed for the the party to morph seamlessly over the night from barside cocktail hour to outdoor patio ceremony to dinner buffet to dance floor. The space is already a beautifully decorated artwork, and Mel lets you decide how to arrange the space for your event, but you can also bring your own decorations/sound system/llama and she can handle those additions easily. The food and drinks were delicious too, and Mel was able to accommodate our entirely vegan and gluten-free menu without hesitation. Overall we loved the unique-ness, flexibility and good vibes of the space and the people of Bar Carlo, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cute and fun space for their wedding or other event. -Nicola & Lou

BEST WEDDING I EVER HAD!
Melinda and everyone at Bar Carlo did such an incredible job of making everything perfect for us and our forty guests. The spaces (both restaurant and the outdoor alleyway/stage that served as the aisle and the altar) were made available in plenty of time to decorate, and it all looked gorgeous! The food was AMAZING (especially the shrimp, and the best chips and guacamole I’ve ever had), and I’m still getting texts like “What a beautiful wedding, Em. You looked beautiful. But the FOOD, oh my God, the food was SO GOOD…” It truly was the exact opposite of the dreaded Rubber Chicken wedding. Communication was smooth and answers always came fast; my random requests were always met by a “Yeah, I’m sure we can make that happen.” And happen they did! The bartender was fabulous, drinks were amazing, and our “signature” Negroni slushy was…well…it was maybe a little too good. Everyone has an amazing time, and my *husband* and I are eternally grateful to Mel and her staff for making it happen.

You two were delightful to work with! I loved getting to know your personalities and truly couldn't have envisioned a more perfect fit for our space than your wedding :) We all felt honored to be invited to your party.

I have been here twice now. I had a brunch last week that was delicious and last night I attended a wedding reception/ private event. The owner is hands-on and provided an awesome venue . The two bartenders were great- fast and friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Bar Carlo is a flavor fest of Mexican American food. Food is always satisfying… beans alone are worth five stars! The staff is friendly and welcoming . 🩷
