This wood was used for the siding, along with the 3 bars: Cedar, Fir and Maple live edge slabs. At the center of the building stands the top of the Cedar tree, standing 28 feet tall. Specializing in Big Bold Reds, we also have some award-winning Pinot Noir and white wines as well as local beer on tap. Our tasting room is a versatile space for hosting many events: private tastings, meetings, birthdays, small casual weddings, and more. Events must be catered. We have preferred caterers but will consider outside caterers as requested. We can seat 64-70 people inside and on the patio, but allow a maximum of 85 guests per event. Mount Pisgah Arboretum’s beautiful White Oak Pavilion is a 3,000 sqft building with large wooden glassed-in sliding doors that open on all sides to reveal the peaceful scenery and oak savannah landscapes of the Arboretum. The building is easily accessible to caterers, musicians, and guests. Photo opportunities at the Arboretum include our vast Oak Savannah, the Great Meadows, large canopied forests, a lovely sandy beach along the Coast Fork River, the beautiful Adkison Footbridge in our Water Garden, our vintage, photogenic barn and over 200 acres of majestic trees, paths and nature. The Arboretum is a non-profit organization and our main mission is education. Your wedding rental fee goes directly into our children's education program. This helps the Arboretum bring out over 3,000 school children each year to discover nature on our guided field trips. This park is open to the public 365 days a year.
