Weddings at Amaterra include expansive views of the Willamette Valley, exceptional wines, and inventive menus for you and your guests to enjoy. When you book with us, you will have exclusive use of the Terrace Lawn for your ceremony as well as the Barrel Room and Skyline Ballroom with connecting terraces for the reception, dinner, and festivities.

Skyline Ballroom
A toast to the highest occasion.
The Skyline Ballroom includes floor-to-ceiling windows that mimic the shape of the hills off in the distance, a built-in bar set behind a stunning wall of blown glass from artist Andy Paiko and an indoor and outdoor stone fireplace complete with soft seating. Use of the ballroom also includes the sprawling upper deck with lounge furniture and a large fire table to take in the amazing cotton candy-colored sunsets of the Willamette Valley.

Terrace Lawn
Perched high above the treetops in the West Hills, take in the views of the valley below.
Commanding sweeping views, the over 7,000-square-foot Terrace lawn is our most popular ceremony site. A stunning 30-foot-high natural rock waterfall tumbles into two reflecting pools, making it the ideal location for a cocktail party, dining, and dancing under the stars as the valley lights twinkle below.

A Dream Wedding at Amaterra
My husband and I had our wedding at Amaterra, and it was the most beautiful day. Katie Carver from Amaterra worked seamlessly with our planner, Katy Kamali, to bring all of our dreams to life. The space didn’t need much to dress it up, and Amaterra already had a lot on hand we were able to utilize including beautiful cross back chairs! While the space was amazing, the FOOD was absolutely one of the highlights of the night for everyone. We had so much fun choosing what would be on the menu at our tasting, and the dinner did not disappoint. Even the desserts we ordered to supplement our Dream Cakes cake were DELICIOUS! We would recommend Amaterra to anyone looking for a magical space to host their wedding - thanks again to Katie, Katy and team for everything!
Absolutely Stunning!
Amaterra Winery was a beautiful wedding venue that provided an unforgettable experience for our special day. While they may not have been the least expensive option, the quality of their work and the value they provided was well worth it. The view from the venue was absolutely stunning, and the food they served was delicious. Their coordinator was working hard to ensure everything ran smoothly, and the new parking garage will be a huge benefit that will allow future guests to avoid having to take a shuttle. Though they may have been a bit slow to respond at times, with a little patience, they delivered an amazing wedding day that we'll never forget.
Perfect Portland Venue
We got married at Amaterra and loved the venue. Katie on the events team is the BEST - over the year we spent planning, we had countless questions and every one was answered promptly. She had great ideas for how to get the most out of the space and made us feel very comfortable with how the event would turn out. The food was very good, and the bar team went above and beyond to create our favorite cocktail from Hawaii. Everything was in perfect condition on the wedding day, and everyone raved about the views!
Perfect Venue for a Perfect Wedding
Amaterra was everything we wanted and more - from the food, to the music, to the view.. everything was above and beyond and made our special day feel elegant and glorious without costing half the price that guests imagined it would be. It was truly a dream team to have our dream wedding, and I can not recommend this venue enough for couples in the Portland area or beyond! (We flew from California) Thank you so much, we will be visiting in the future for anniversaries and hopeful others’ weddings!
