Weddings at Amaterra include expansive views of the Willamette Valley, exceptional wines, and inventive menus for you and your guests to enjoy. When you book with us, you will have exclusive use of the Terrace Lawn for your ceremony as well as the Barrel Room and Skyline Ballroom with connecting terraces for the reception, dinner, and festivities.

Skyline Ballroom
A toast to the highest occasion.
The Skyline Ballroom includes floor-to-ceiling windows that mimic the shape of the hills off in the distance, a built-in bar set behind a stunning wall of blown glass from artist Andy Paiko and an indoor and outdoor stone fireplace complete with soft seating. Use of the ballroom also includes the sprawling upper deck with lounge furniture and a large fire table to take in the amazing cotton candy-colored sunsets of the Willamette Valley.

Terrace Lawn
Perched high above the treetops in the West Hills, take in the views of the valley below.
Commanding sweeping views, the over 7,000-square-foot Terrace lawn is our most popular ceremony site. A stunning 30-foot-high natural rock waterfall tumbles into two reflecting pools, making it the ideal location for a cocktail party, dining, and dancing under the stars as the valley lights twinkle below.

PERFECT WEDDING
From our first time we toured Amaterra and spoke with our venue coordinator Katie, we knew how much effort they were willing to put in to make our wedding the special day that it was. She was responsive and thoughtful throughout the entire planning process, making sure every detail was handled so we could just enjoy getting ready to marry. The whole team, front of house and back, treated us and our guests like family, making sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. The venue itself is stunning, with an elegant setting that made everything feel exquisite without us having to do much at all. What really set Amaterra apart was how much they cared about our experience at every step, not just on wedding day. They made us feel like a member of the Amaterra community and the best part is it’s a place we can return to for dinners, wine tastings, and other incredible events for years to come. We can't recommend them highly enough.

The best of the best
Hands down the BEST - for anything from a dinner out to an extravagant event. We hosted our wedding here and it was absolutely incredible. Even with rain on our wedding day, everything was stunning and executed flawlessly. The team handled every detail so seamlessly that we never once felt stressed, it was clear they had everything under control. They are elite pros. Shout out to Katie for being there every single step of the way for the year it took to plan! And the food was, without exaggeration, the best I've ever had at a wedding. And not just a wedding, in general, the food at Amaterra is some of the best you will have. Period. It's been two weeks since our wedding, and we're still getting texts and photos from friends and family saying it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. If you're considering Amaterra, I can't recommend it enough. Rain or shine, they know exactly what they're doing and how to create an unforgettable wedding.

Spectacular wedding experience with Amaterra
My husband and I were married at Amaterra on April 25th, 2026 and the experience was a delight, start to finish. The winery has multiple gorgeous areas that lend themselves well to customization, both indoors and outdoors (which is a must with Oregon's mercurial weather patterns!). Communication was steady and the event planner Katie Carver was a creative mastermind, always taking our ideas and running with them to add a little extra magic. Even the day of the wedding itself, Katie was instrumental in keeping everything running smoothly and improvising as needed. Their kitchen staff is incredible. We had a mixed menu with some Amaterra classic catering options as well as some custom Chinese dishes. The food was so good that multiple of our guests have talked about pining to have another serving, weeks after the fact! Importantly, the pricing is also fair and transparent all throughout the process. Overall, Amaterra will always have a special place in our hearts after taking such good care of us on our big day. We recommend them 1000% to anyone looking for wedding venues in the Portland area!

High quality food and a beautiful venue
Amaterra Winery was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. Overall, it was a very positive experience with a few details that keep it from being a perfect 5 stars. Communication with the venue was somewhat variable throughout the initial planning process, but became more reliable after our taste testing and through the wedding day itself. A thorough tour of the venue and a menu tasting before our wedding day were provided, which helped us feel confident in our decision. Amaterra has a wonderful selection of high-quality cuisine and beverages, and they were able and willing to accommodate the dietary restrictions of our guests. The on-site catering did a remarkable job and left no one feeling hungry. The venue itself was beautiful, picturesque, and comfortable, albeit at a cost. Multiple guests noted that servers were a bit eager to open new bottles of wine throughout the night while pulling glasses early. The final bill for drinks was significantly higher than expected, even with a member's discount. But Katie and the rest of the Amaterra team really went above and beyond to contribute to our special day, checking in on us as we were getting ready and adapting seamlessly to the rainy weather. We received countless compliments from our guests on the gorgeous venue, delicious food, and wine. We are so grateful to the Amaterra team for making our wedding day truly perfect.

Absolutely fantastic! From the coolest event planner, Katie. To every single staff member at our event. Lead by Ken. It was so easy to just celebrate and be present. They did everything! The food was perfect! We love the place. You can't go wrong!
