Hi! My name is Sam Turchin and I’m a wedding & portrait photographer. I'm also a nature-loving, taco-craving, always-up-for-adventuring Los Angeles native. Elegant, unique, and romantic photos that are both modern & timeless.

My photography style is warm, bright, and vibrant. I love to incorporate luminous light and surrounding scenery as much as possible. I’m a big fan of showcasing how epic everything is! As for how I go about it, my philosophy is to stage naturally and to focus on the grace of the moment. I’ll work with you to put together some organic poses and candid scenes. And I guarantee that we’ll get some awesome photos in the process!

    We booked Sam for our engagement shoot and our wedding reception, and we’re so happy we did. She’s fun to work with, very communicative, and creates the most beautiful photos. She’s able to capture the vibe you ask for, and if you’re unsure, she can still figure out how to make something stunning. Would highly recommend Sam for any first-timers like me who have never been photographed, or for nerdy brides who like to talk about Star Wars during a shoot!

    Sam is the best! When I told her I wanted to do a desert shot for my engagement shoot, she was able to immediately suggest a location. And the shots came out super cool! Fast forward to our wedding day, Sam captured every moment of our wedding! This was critical for us, as we opted out of getting a videographer, but we really didn't need it! When I saw our photo gallery, I was reliving the wedding day each step of the way. Sam's super professional, organize, creative, and easy to work with. I will book her for my maternity shoot!
