About this venue
Centrally located in the heart of North Portland, The Baker Building is available to host your wedding, reception and ceremony. This historic building has been thoughtfully updated, keeping many of the original details while adding a modern touch. The building features a second floor ballroom with exposed rafters and hanging café lights, elegant hardwood flooring, and tons of natural light. A large kitchen and serving room is conveniently located just next to the ballroom as well as two private suites for guests. *All tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, surround sound PA system, wireless microphones and overhead projector. *We offer an open vendor policy which means that you may bring in outside caterers for no additional fee.

Baker Building Ballroom
The Baker Building is a historic wedding and event venue in Portland, Oregon
The 2,000 square foot ballroom features 18 foot ceilings with exposed rafters and solid oak floors with a stunning herringbone design. The ballroom features two attached private suites and a 600 square foot catering kitchen complete with serving stations, sinks and refrigeration. A professional sound system, an HD projector, microphones, tables and chairs are included in the rental fee.

Love Working at The Baker Building!
The Baker Building is a truly unique wedding venue with so much vintage charm and character. The building itself has numerous cute corners for great portraits, it is located in a fun neighborhood, and has a great facade. There is also lovely landscaping around the immediate building that provides a variety of backdrop options for photos. Peninsula Park is only a couple of blocks away as well. The space itself is incredibly versatile and can be transformed to fit any couple's vision. I have photographed several events here and always excited to go back. I highly recommend The Baker Building to any couple looking for a one-of-a-kind wedding experience.

From the moment we first reached out to The Baker Building, we were impressed by their helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. They were attentive to our needs and guided us through the planning process with ease. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful historic details and classic amenities that created the perfect setting for our special day. Jen and Mark were responsive to our requests and assisted us in planning aspects of our wedding, ensuring it was a day we'll never forget. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue and highly recommend The Baker Building to any couple looking to host their wedding in a truly remarkable space.
