Weddings are my passion. I used to watch reruns after reruns of TLC’s A Wedding Story when I was young and even created little ceremonies and receptions I thought best fit the personalities of my younger siblings. I’ve always been passionate about gardening but didn’t really think of floristry until after I landed my first job in the wedding industry. I decided to go for it and pursued floral design school. I couldn’t be happier that I did! I get to start my day with some of the most gorgeous scents and scenery. I love what I do and I think you will, too!

Since my business is wedding planning AND floral design, I don’t charge what most other florists do because, essentially, I have two jobs. I don’t need to hike up prices of arrangements to make ends meet. Plus, it makes me really happy to design my clients’ special day on a price point we all can feel good about.

One of our core values at KingWood & Co is environmentalism. We like to recycle our work whenever possible (typically, I donate used flowers to local nursing homes and hospice centers) but flower preservation can be done for a fee! Please inquire for details.
We offer delivery and setup, but breakdown services are not part of our usual fee. Delivery is free to the Portland Vancouver Metro areas. However, we do deliver up to 100 miles outside of Portland or Vancouver for a $.52 fee per mile roundtrip. Breakdown will be the sole responsibility of the couple in this instance. No minimum spend required which couples find to be a plus!
After a booking, design consultations last approximately 60-90 minutes but can take up to 2 hours. Please come prepared with details about your wedding like your budget and style, and photos always help! This can include images of your venue, photos of your wedding attire, fabric swatches, your color palette, photos from social media, and more. The more information and ideas you provide, the better we can assist you. Also, if you plan on using your own containers, please bring them so we can evaluate and give you an accurate quote based on their size. After your consultation, we will draw up a proposal with prices and email it to you.
Yes!
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day.
Yes! We offer arch drapery in the colors white, terracotta, and sage for a rental fee. We also offer a couple styles of small candle holders for rent. Please inquire for details and prices!
$250. That’s it!! We believe weddings don’t have to cost a fortune so we keep our minimum spend low for that reason.
We offer delivery and setup but breakdown typically falls on the couple, unless booked for a small fee of $50.00. Couples marrying outside of the Portland/Vancouver metro areas will be responsible for breakdown.
We work whenever a wedding happens! But outside of that, we can be reached by email, call or text: - Mondays and Fridays from 11am - 7pm - Saturdays and Sundays from 10am - 7pm - Thursdays by appointment only (consultations or rehearsals)
Absolutely!! Another one of our core values is affordability. KingWood & Co is comprised of a wedding planner, two day-of coordinators, florist, and officiant. We’re hoping to add on a photographer in 2024!! But for now couples who book 2 services receive 10% off their total, or 3 services for 20% off their total!
