Sadie McIntyre
Vareus Events is a boutique event floral design studio located in the Bethany area of Portland, OR. Sadie uses her decades of event planning and expertise in floral artistry to create couture floral event designs and installations specifically for each client.
I’ve been planning and designing weddings since 1998 when I got my start in San Diego. I’ve designed all types of weddings from intimate elopements to grand installs for large weddings. Whatever your style, no matter how small your gathering may be, we love designing to suit your exact needs.

Sadie is the best!!
Vareus Events was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From our initial consultation to the day-of, their communication was always clear and calm, putting us at ease throughout the planning process. The team at Vareus Events is clearly experienced and organized, ensuring every detail was accounted for and executed flawlessly. When we ran into a shuttle issue that left some guests stranded trying to get to the venue, Vareus Events calmly resolved the situation without needing to involve us, going above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly. Amazing Florist
Sadie was such a dream to work with. Sadie joined us relatively late in the game as the day-of coordinator for our Portland wedding, after our original coordinator had a conflict. Despite that, she handled the transition seamlessly, and made the day effortless, handling all the vendor interactions and making sure everything was in place. She's also a talented floral designer, and did a lovely job with our bouquet, boutonniere, and table arrangements for the reception at a very reasonable price. She's definitely one of the standout people who made our wedding possible, and we can't recommend her enough.

Sadie was wonderful to work with. We had a small wedding of 40 people with two locations (city park and restaurant). Sadie helped coordinate both venues, confirmed all vendors, and was also our florist. She was able to take my images and random phrases and turn it into the wedding and vibe I was hoping for. I had always thought having a wedding planner would be expensive, but it certainly wasn't with Vareus Events.
