We are huge fans of all of Oregon and SW Washington! That said, we do a great deal of work here in the Portland area - we especially love the urban venues in NW portland and close in SE industrial Portland. We also love working in the scenic areas around Portland - in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, Willamette Valley wine country, on Mt Hood, out at the Oregon Coast, and down on the McKenzie River.
For weekends in peak season (June - Sept, and anytime there’s a 3 day weekend), many couples book 9 - 15 months in advance. Off peak dates usually book up 6 - 9 months in advance. But always get in touch, no matter what your timeline! We are happy to to take on a wedding with as little as a month's notice! Everyone has their own timeline and plan that works for them, and if you want to start working with a floral designer closer to your wedding date, that’s great! You don’t have to panic about booking as early as possible if that isn’t your style.
Consultations last approximately 1 hour but depending on your personality and how much detail you want to share, it can take longer! Wherever you are at in planning is fine! Feel free to just show up wherever you are at and we can take it from there. But any inspiration you have for your wedding is helpful for me to take a glimpse at ahead of time - mood boards, pinterest boards, loose images, faves from my portfolio or socials, etc. Hearing about you, your personal taste and interests, and your dreams for your wedding is the most important part!
Definitely! Most venues in our service area require all materials to be removed after the event with no on site trash. We prefer to provide breakdown, as it allows us to fully clean up, as well as allowing us to compost the floral material.
