JR Music Collective
JR Music Collective got its start with the simple idea of live music and DJ service from one vendor caught on across the region and the company began adding more musician/DJs to its roster. Oregon Bride Magazine first recognized JR Music Collective with an award in 2013. The collective has gone on to win awards every year since. We have a talented group of musicians and DJs waiting to make your day wonderful.
We offer both live music and DJ/MC. Our couples do not need to choose between the two or hire more than one vendor to get the vision they are looking for. Our all inclusive packages include all the couple's sound needs covered for the day. Mics for officiant, vows, and toasts as well as options for live ceremony and cocktail and DJ/MC services for the reception.

Amazing Decision!
John was the best decision we made - he led the entire evening from setting up the ceremony to directing every guest, dance, and speaker throughout the evening. He was incredible to work with - we met before the wedding and he knew what we wanted even better than we did. His live portions were highlights of the evening, he’s so talented and knows so many hits. And he kept the party going all night, keeping the action alive and respecting the vibe we were going for. HIGHLY recommend!

Guitarist and DJ - a great combo!
We were thrilled to have chosen Blake with JR Music Collective for our wedding at the Allison Inn. Blake has a lovely voice and plays guitar beautifully. That combination worked perfectly for the ceremony in the garden. From the moment ours guests arrived, they were welcomed with acoustic guitar, through the bridal processional and couple recessional. During the cocktail hour, Blake treated us with his warm vocals of some of our favorite songs. During the reception, Blake transitioned to DJ duties and kept the dance floor packed throughout the night. We and our guests could not have been happier. Thank you so very much, Blake!

John Ross is AMAZING!
John truly saved the day for our wedding! Due to some last-minute changes, he stepped in seamlessly and made us feel completely supported from the start. He listened carefully to every detail and even did his own personal research to thoughtfully blend both Western/American and Nigerian music throughout the night. The transitions were smooth, the energy stayed high, and every guest felt included on the dance floor. He helped create such a fun, memorable atmosphere and we are so grateful for the care and effort he put into making our celebration special.

We had our wedding last July, and Dalton Huxley from JR Music Collective was absolutely incredible. Dalton brought the full package — an amazing live voice with a deep Chris Stapleton-style sound, professional DJ skills, and incredible energy throughout the entire night. He performed live during our ceremony, then seamlessly transitioned into DJing the reception and kept the dance floor going all night. What impressed us most was his professionalism and work ethic. He arrived ready to work, communicated clearly before and during the wedding, stayed perfectly on cue, and adapted effortlessly to everything we threw at him — including some unique dance and reception changes on the fly. He looked sharp, set the tone for the entire evening, and genuinely helped make our wedding unforgettable. Our guests still talk about how great the music and atmosphere were.
