I love my job. For me, it’s kind of two-fold. One amazing part of the job is knowing that you are part of a couple’s most memorable day of their life—and assuming it goes well, they will remember you for it for the rest of their life. The other part is that I get to run a business and listen to music—two of my deepest passions. So running a DJ company mashes it all together in one great package.
When creating my business plan for Stumptown DJs, I made sure that everything we did as a company solved an existing problem in our industry. This helped us find the perfect niche in the Portland DJ market. Stumptown DJs is an affordable, professional and talented DJ service that’s simple, flexible and fun for everyone. And that sets us apart from others in our field.

This is more of a DIY DJ Package in terms of planning. On the day of, it's entirely different. You'll get access to our custom online timeline to organize your wedding day & access to our Spotify profile to help you create your very own playlists. No charge for setup or teardown, No Travel Fee for Portland Metro Area, DJ will MC entire event. DJ will bring 2 handheld microphones (1 wired, 1 wireless) If we’re providing sound for your ceremony, 1 lapel microphone included at no additional charge.
- DJ has at least 1 year of wedding experience.
- Majority of interaction with Stumptown DJs admin
- Two scheduled phone calls
- First setup INCLUDED in package
- (Additional setups are $250 each)
- Additional time is $225 per hour
Tier 1+ (4 hours)

Best choice in DJs
From our first conversation with Stumptown DJs, Steven was responsive and easy to work with, which made the planning process smooth from start to finish. He listened to what we wanted but also brought his own style to the mix, and it was absolutely perfect for our day. Steven really knew how to read the room and kept the energy going all night, he got people on the dance floor and kept them there. One of our favorite moments was the private last dance he arranged, which felt so personal and special. He's a true pro who genuinely cares about making your wedding memorable, and we felt that from day one. We can't recommend Stumptown DJs highly enough.

Excellent experienced wedding DJ
I cannot recommend Stumptown DJs enough, specifically Gianni, for any couple looking for a professional and seamless wedding experience. From our very first consultation back in December, Stumptown was incredibly attentive to our vision. We had specific needs for a bilingual celebration, and he navigated those music preferences perfectly, ensuring both sides of the family felt included and engaged on the dance floor. Stumptown DJ's preparation was excellent - we had a detailed timeline review in March where he walked through every transition, which really eased my mind leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, his execution was flawless. He kept the energy high, the transitions smooth, and followed our timeline to the letter. If you want a DJ who is professional, organized, and truly understands how to manage a diverse playlist, book Gianni!

Jai is the best!
Our wedding DJ, Jai, was an absolute hit! He was fantastic to work with from our very first meeting; Jai took the time to understand our vision and the vibe we wanted for our wedding. Jai went above and beyond to create a heartwarming memory. In last-minute preparation for the ceremony, our family collected audio recordings from both of our grandmothers who lived in different countries and couldn’t travel. Jai graciously worked to include their messages without any issue and maintained the surprise until the reveal. Jai is not just a DJ; he's a true professional who knows how to read a crowd and create an unforgettable experience. We received so many compliments from our guests about how great the music was. He was a huge part of what made our wedding so perfect. We can't recommend him enough!

DJ Katie was absolutely amazing to work with. She was so organized and met with us several times before the big day. She helped us not only curate our playlists, but also organize a timeline/schedule which really helped the wedding run smoothly. The songs that she added outside of our playlist perfectly matched our vibe. The dance floor was packed the whole night. She was highly professional and friendly and so easy to work with. We highly recommend Stumptown DJs and DJ Katie!!!
