Salt and Ivy Photography

SWFL based husband and wife team who love to story tell with authentic and emotive imagery. We have been in business for over 10+ years and have traveled all over to document love. Each wedding for us is a brand new experience, and we treat each couple like they are our own friends. We understand that this is a huge investment not only financially but emotionally - so we put in every bit of effort to make sure you get exactly what you wanted.

Our style is that perfect mix between moody, and classic. We are very hands on when it comes to the posed shots, but make it look like those were all naturally flowing moments. We call this method "posing unposed." This way, there's no mystery or awkward moments when we're doing the engagement session, or the most important portion - your wedding portraits.

    Beyond Grateful

    Salt & Ivy was an absolute dream to work with. Highly communicative, professional, punctual, and absolute artists. From booking to receiving the photos, they were so amazing to work with. I (the bride) am typically very uncomfortable taking photographs. This was the first time in my life that I was actually at ease and having fun. 10/10 would and will book them again in the future for family/maternity photographs.

    Stunning Work & Amazing Person to Work With

    I cannot recommend Amanda/Salt Ivy Photography enough. When choosing a photographer for our wedding and for our post-wedding mountaintop shoot (instead of an engagement photoshoot), we wanted a photographer who had a unique artistic vision who produced dynamic and emotional shots. We wanted photography that really stood out and was not the run of the mill wedding photography. Most of all, we wanted photography that captured the authentic emotional connection we have and the incredible energy of our big day. When I saw Amanda's work, I knew she was the one. Not only was her work absolutely STUNNING, but she was incredible to work with. We had to change our wedding date 3 total times due to Covid... and even moved it out of state halfway through... Amanda was always flexible, understanding, accommodating and encouraging. The day of the wedding she was calm, loving, fun, and her energy really made the day even more special. Our post-wedding hike/photoshoot the next day was one of the most enjoyable parts of our entire wedding experience. Amanda is not only a phenomenal photographer and artist, but an even better human. 10000000000000/10 recommend.

    The best photographer/ videographer Ever!

    Amanda is the best photographer I’ve ever known! She did a spectacular job with my daughter’s wedding photos. She was able to put all of us at ease while she was getting us into the poses that look so natural and so beautiful. Amanda is a talented and creative photographer that has a knack for finding the beauty in everything! Michael was able to take pieces of video throughout the day that was then transformed into an absolutely stunning video for my daughter and her new husband! Every time I see the video now I cry with joy! This team is so professional and they are great communicators that they can take a sometimes stressful situation and make it fun! When you find a professional that does an excellent job, you always want to use them again. I will be using Salt Ivy photography for all my photo and video needs and will recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
The gallery will be meticulously curated, meaning the best photographs will be selected and then beautifully edited by Amanda. All images are then sharpened, and skin smoothed.
Yes - We LOVE teaming up to capture films. This ensures that your photography, and film will be consistent as far as editing, and flow.
Sneak peeks are typically within 1-3 days. Full blog post can take 1-2 weeks. The full gallery can take up to 8 weeks.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 10+ years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. This RAW images will then go to me, and I will take my same care in curating and editing. I have two trained back up photographers who know how to shoot exactly like me.
