    Best dj

    We had the best experience with Dj Mad Mike! He kept the dance floor alive all night. From booking to the wedding it has been such a pleasure to work with everyone at modern era. Mike really went above and beyond for us and I couldn’t be more thankful.

    We had the absolute best experience with our wedding DJ, Jason! From start to finish, he was professional, organized, and incredibly easy to work with. His planning portal made the entire process seamless. We were able to track every detail, input our song choices, and even receive helpful song suggestions for each part of the day. It made us feel confident that everything was thoughtfully planned and nothing would be overlooked. On the wedding day, Jason truly exceeded our expectations. The transitions from one song to the next were flawless, and the flow of the night felt natural. He did an amazing job reading the crowd and adjusting the energy in real time. The dance floor was packed all night long! Right before we officially opened the dance floor, we did a big group photo with all of our guests. Jason timed everything perfectly and chose the perfect first song to kick off the party, which kept everyone out on the dance floor instead of heading back to their seats. It set the tone for the rest of the night. From ages 6 to 84, everyone was out there dancing the night away. Seeing every generation having that much fun together was so special. Several guests told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and we truly believe Jason played a huge role in that. People are still talking about how much fun they had. If you’re looking for a DJ who is professional, organized, and knows exactly how to keep the party going, we cannot recommend Jason enough. He helped create such an unforgettable atmosphere, and we’re so grateful he was part of our day!

    Kept the dance floor packed

    We worked with Modern Era Weddings for our wedding and it was honestly one of the easiest vendors we worked with. They are so responsive and have a wonderful system set up to make it so simple to provide the information needed to keep the party going. Chris Stankay was our DJ and he worked with us to make sure that everyone's names were read correctly and that he had a good handle on the overall flow of the day from ceremony to reception. We gave him a playlist of songs we vibed with for the reception and let him work his magic on keeping the dance floor mood flowing. Our family and friends definitely kept the floor packed the entire night and we couldn't have asked for a better day!

    Modern Era Weddings Made Our Day Unforgettable!

    We cannot recommend Modern Era Weddings enough! Our wedding in Marathon, Florida was truly magical, and they played a huge role in making it unforgettable. From the moment the music started, everything flowed seamlessly—from the ceremony to the last dance. Their attention to detail was outstanding. The “dancing on clouds” effect during our first dance created such a dreamy, romantic atmosphere—it felt like a real-life fairytale. And the fire dancers? Absolute showstoppers! It was such a unique, high-energy touch that had all our guests raving. The DJ kept the energy up all night, reading the crowd perfectly and keeping everyone on the dance floor. Not only were they professional and organized, but they also clearly cared about making every moment special. If you’re getting married in the Keys (or anywhere, really), Modern Era Weddings is a no-brainer. They went above and beyond to give us the wedding celebration of our dreams!

    Couldn’t have imagined our day without Mike and Modern Era Weddings! They brought all the fun and were extremely professional. They knew the vibe we wanted and were able to create a dance floor that had both Hispanics and Americans on the dance floor the whole night!! Mike was amazing to work with. He knew exactly how to throw a party, he was a perfect MC, and he had a setup that made our night FUN.
