    Not what we expected - disappointed

    We got married on 2/22/26, and while our wedding was magical overall, our experience with our DJ was unfortunately very disappointing. From the beginning, we made it very clear that we had a detailed vision for the music. We provided specific playlists for cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception, along with a very extensive “Do Not Play” list and clear instructions for our ceremony music and grand entrance. We even confirmed multiple times that she was comfortable sticking closely to our playlists, and she assured us she was. Unfortunately, many of those instructions were not followed. The wrong songs were played during the ceremony, including the groom’s processional and the bridal party entrance. During cocktail hour, songs from our “Do Not Play” list were played while songs we had chosen were skipped, and our planner had to step in to remind her to follow the playlist. She also made a comment over the microphone telling guests we had a large “Do Not Play” list and encouraged them to be creative with requests, even though we had specifically asked that no guest requests be accepted. Throughout the reception, transitions between songs were abrupt, the music order we carefully planned wasn’t followed, and many songs we selected were never played. Unfortunately, the music and overall flow of the night didn’t reflect what we had spent so much time planning. We chose this DJ because of her strong reviews and felt confident going into our wedding day. Sadly, our experience did not reflect those reviews. Truly wish the outcome was different but hopefully this helps future couples with their decision.

    WE HAD A TIME! Queendoq is incredibly versatile and truly understands people from all backgrounds and cultures. She’s very attentive, always reading the room to keep the party going. Her couple entrance introduction is unmatched, her VJing is excellent, and her packages are exactly as described — no hidden fees, no surprises. The booking process is also straightforward, with clear consultations and periodic video meetings to set expectations. She even offered great suggestions when we weren’t sure what direction to take. As a Type A bride, my playlist and song choices were really important to me. There were moments during the reception when I had my husband request a different song because it wasn’t on my list. Rather than getting frustrated, Queendoq handled it gracefully and transitioned seamlessly. If you're looking for a wedding DJ rather than a club-style DJ, Queendoq is the one. My only note would be that there's some room for improvement in transitioning between songs and not letting tracks play for too long — especially when music selection is important to the couple. But the best part? Queendoq is extremely receptive to feedback and open to collaboration. We are so happy we chose her for our big day and would absolutely recommend her to any couple looking for a fun, professional, and culturally-aware DJ who truly cares about making your day unforgettable!

    Thank you for our amazing night!

    Everyone that left our wedding raved about the blast that they had! Dominique made this night memorable and kept the vibes up, reading the crowd as we went through the night. From 2 years old to 85, everyone had the time of their lives. This was a night that we will always remember!

    We love her! Our wedding was so much fun and everyone keeps telling us the D.J. was amazing and we agree. She was a quick responder and was always easy to reach. She played a variety of genres and took requests so everyone felt included. I have honestly never seen a wedding where almost everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. Our main priority was having a really good dj and we achieved that by far thanks to her. We are so thankful for her contribution to our big day and if you’re thinking of booking, do it you will not regret it!

Her communication was amazing - she was always prompt, professional and friendly in responding to our questions and requests. On the day of the wedding, queendoq exceeded our expectations with her high energy, expertise and ability to keep the party going. She was very knowledgeable and used her experience to improvise seamlessly, giving us a truly beautiful and memorable celebration. Our guests had a blast with the fun games she incorporated, and we would definitely choose queendoq again and again for any future events. Her incredible service and value made her an integral part of making our special day perfect.
